Visited this place a few days back when I was in college street..ordered Veg fried rice,Paneer Makhani and tandoori roti. The service was prompt and behaviour of staffs were courteous. The taste and quantity of food was good.Would definitely recommend this place in college Street!
Situated just 15mins from college street book market, it is a great destination for family, friends and a perfect dine in experience.
Visited this place quite a few months back, ordered their mixed fried rice, which was pretty nice in taste and was so flavourful, that it could be consumed by itself only without any side dishes.
Service could have been a bit more fast otherwise ambience is perfect as a multicuisine restaurant.
Recommended place for anyone hanging around in college street area or residing nearby,as it a perfect place for a dine in experience.
Wohhooo what I have to say about this particular restaurant i just want to say one thing if you go anyday in college street just tried this restaurant uff the food is 😍😍😍 highly recommend momo i still craving whenever I think about the taste.
Visiting after a few years, nice to see quality of food still as good as last time.
Located just beside paramount ।। I order ed white sauce pasta , burger , sandwich।। I liked the white sauce pasta most🤤
This place has a really good atmosphere..You'll feel comfortable and relaxed..The service was also very good.
I ordered fries which was filling for two people..I really love their chicken lasagna so I had to eat it..I would highly recommend their lasagna,it's the best❤
Rating- (3.5/5)
We went there yesterday(25/01/20) ..
Firstly its located right opposite the Medical college gate in college street and right beside Hindusthan Dhaba.
Now the ambience- Its good and spacious, but the lighting is too dim..
We ordred
1. Veg cheese burger (3.5/5) - the patty was gd n crunchy. But was on the dry side rather than being juicy.
2. Chicken burger(3/5)- the patty was a bit undercooked and Dry ..
Both burgers had decent size..
3. Veg lasagne(4/5) - it tasted really good, the layering should hv been more.. the quality was good, bt quantity can be improved..
The wait time is long once you placed your order..
Now coming to the behaviour (2.5/5)
They were polite but weren't good at waitering..
We had to ask for serving water( 2 times) then they delivered it after 15 mins of our arrival. Secondly we also ordered soft drink way before the burgers, but they delivered it after the burgers were almost finshed ..
The billing calculation wasn't accurate too....
Both chinese and north indian food are upto the mark, while the quantity for price could be better. The quality in the other hand is spot on and the food is delicious. The ambience is calm and cozy.
Very pleasant. The staffs are really good.

Food station is a restaurant frequented by the college crowd as well as families. Located right upon college street,it offers comfortable seating on two floors. The other day, I ordered a butter masala dosa with onion. The dosa was crisp yet buttery and the masala was not overpowering or bland, it hit the sweet spot of comfy south indian food. Furthermore, the side of sambar, coconut chutney and a spicy tomato chutney served as the perfect partner to the dosa. The only word of advice to this place, please speed up your service.
The quality of food is really food. One must try their south Indian dish especially their Dosa. The chinese combos are great otion for two. Spacious and good ambiance. Just the menu is too pricey for a location like college street.
Located just opposite to Medical College Kolkata, this place serves good food ranging from Chinese to south Indian and Indian as well.
We ordered
1. Butter Onion paper Dosa
2. Crispy Konjee Chicken
3. Crispy Chilli baby Corn
4. EGG hakka noodles
5. Kung Pao chicken
5. Fish in oyster Sauce
Portion sizes were a little less when it comes to the noodle The fish was the best out of all that we ordered.

Food Station is just opposite my college.
So it's almost everyday that we visit.
Their Chinese starters , especially the Crispy chilly babycorn is just fantastic
And my staple there is the Butter masala Dosa with onion toppings
The price is also fairly reasonable.
All over a must visit
I truly love this place. The service is very quick. It is very pocket friendly. With a very cozy vibe and great food. We also had sandwich that was so tasty. There momos are the largest momo i have ever seen.
This restaurant is a true lifesaver, being the only multicuisine eatery in the College Para. Their Chinese dishes are usually very tasty. Special mention:
Pan fried fish
Chicken fried rice
Of the Indian items, Chicken Butter Masala is delectable.
Do NOT have ice cream here.
They offer 10% discount if you check in on Facebook.
This place is near Calcutta Medical College. It was our regular haunt during our college days. We have tried almost all the items available here. Food is tasty, service is pretty fast considering the crowd here, pocket pinch is reasonable and ambience is friendly. We visit here whenever we come to college.
Truly mouthwatering food.Excellent in quality and quantity.Awesome dining experience at reasonable price. It is located opposite of Medical college and a few seconds walking distance from College square and Calcutta University.Staffs' behaviour is very nice. They serve food quickly.first of all you'll definitely fall in love with the taste of the food.We ordered Schezwan Mix friedrice and Hot garlic chicken. It was delicious.Must visit place.
This place is near my college, Medical College Kolkata. I have been here many times. This time I had chicken swee corn soup and French fries. Food was tasty. Prices were pocket friendly. Nice ambience. Will visit again soon.
Pocket friendly place with good food.... Basically that restaurant is known for Chinese... Still continental dishes are awesome as well.... Quantity is perfect.... Though I've not tasted any North Indian or Bengali food from there, so can't say anything about that... But Chinese and continental dishes are awesome... Rating 4.3/5 all over the food , ambiance ....
Nice ambance and Food quality are very good, price are also low. Must try, I also like 2st floor cz there present Kolkata cartoon character on table. I love this thing. You also find me in Instagram for lots of food information..

This is situated opposite to Calcutta Medical College's gate. Or, just a left turn from Surya Sen street when coming from Sealdah to College Square will be enough. Even though this place is a bit cosy, it has both upstairs and downstairs sitting arrangements. There are quite a number of tables in two's and four's. The decor is eye-catching. They have so many wall posters that slide down with numerous Bengalee characters speaking their heart. It is dimly lit but the surrounding is all good. The staff service is so-so as they took time to serve the food, not really fast but not too slow. The quantity of the food is good for one person but really less when shared among two. What was ordered was,
Chicken stroganoff which contained more rice than chicken. It was more buttery but due the smacking taste of the chicken it tasted good. They somehow balanced each other.
There was this tangy orange beverage which was actually better than the stroganoff. Its orange and lemon flavours burst into the mouth that instant. And there was lemon soda. Yet the quantity served is a bit less.
Nice ambience.
Taste and quantity of food are really good.
Was served chips before the food as preparation of food was taking too much time.
The part of the menu that caught my vision was that we could choose side dish according to the sauce , veggies and ingredients we wanted.
Wud love to visit again
This place a relief for people in college street area searching for decent eateries. The chicken pizza is amazing, cheesy and soft. The shawarma was not at all upto the mark. The tooti fruity was delicious. Worth a try surely. Ambience is dark, low lighting. It's a small cafe with decent rates. Must try for quick bites!
Nice ambience. Calm and quiet. Staff is courteous but takes bit of time to serve your meal. Non-veg dishes seems to be better than the veg ones.
Place is awesome and food is bawal in taste ...but 1 thing washroom is very unhygenic it is pathetic you cant survive for a second also..l....
Recently ordered steamed, fried and pan fried momo to college from this joint.
Each plate of momo includes-
📌 5 huge pieces of momo
📌 momo sauce
📌 Soup
Although the momo was incredibly tasty and very fulfilling but the soup was too greasy and spicy for my liking.
Overall loved ordering from this joint.
I really loved the food, I had cheesy burger with fries and my friends had manchurian and schezwan noodles and a sandwich, Obviously, I took a bite from all of their orders, and everything tasted yum.
This is a fairly small restaurant located just opposite the Medical college gate. The decor is quite quirky and makes any Bengali feel nostalgic about their childhood.
The waiters are courteous and friendly, although a little slow. We had to wait for about 45 mins for the food.
Now the food. We had ordered fresh lime soda, chicken nuggets, non-veg club sandwiches and grilled chicken sandwiches. I have only one complaint: the club sandwich was toasted making them super hard and not at all easy to eat. All the other food items were up to the mark, pocket friendly and delicious.
Would surely recommend this place.
This comes under one of the best restaurants in north kolkata. Whenever I go to north, if I get any chance, I make sure to visit this place once.
Specially the location makes it attractive. 'College street' , the name itself specifies that this joint attracts college students a huge way. This place is also good for hang out with family at lunch or dinner time.
This restaurant serves North Indian, Chinese, Continental.
As a Chinese lover, I always prefer to eat any Chinese dishes here.
Their service is also good and prices are within the range.
Tried their chinese combo..which comes with veg fried rice, veg hakka noodles and 4 peice chilli chicken. The quantity is sufficient for two and the food is very tasty and nicely served. The service is even very impressive. The decor is unique as well focusing on old movies like FELUDA .. overall nice experience🤗
One of the most visited places with friends and a "Just Friend" during my IISWBM days. Good ambience. Good food. Reasonable pricing.
Great memories.
This is a hidden gem located in the heart of d city in central kolkata priced aptly keeping in mind d student crowd heaping in!
To a foodies delight,it qualifies fr among d best continental eateries in town.
Tis was d 1st time we hopped in and we ordered as per their choice and we were surprised.
We had ordered chicken strognoff which was more dn wt we expectd,d rice was mellowed and d chicken tender and d sauce perfectly made.
We had ordered also fish meniuere which was crispy on d outside and so fresh n soft on d inside and d sauce it was topped in was spicy with a sweet after taste and felt so nice in d mouth! And the chicken momos were totally worth a try.
Our stomachs were very happy n satisfied n we intend to drop by soon again.
I visited this place and tried pan fried chicken momos.... it is enough to kill my hunger.... i love it's ambiance also.... i will recommend this place... 💓
The best thing about this place is we are greeted by a warm smile from this old gentleman who lets us in.As for the ambience it is a cosy place dimly lit with light music...it has these cartoons from various fields kept on table which is fun as well as interesting.
Coming to the food part.We ordered a combo chinese meal which had veg noodles and veg fried rice along with a bowl of chilli chicken which had enough gravy with four pieces of chicken. This was a good combo and is enough for two if one is opting for a light meal. However the chicken pieces were not tender and were a bit chewy.Overall this combo deserves a 3.5 and it came with a complementary lime soda.
Next we ordered Fish and chips and were utterly disappointed 🙁 the outer crust was burnt and for 310 rupees the quantity was very less the taste also didnt makeup for it.The french fries that came along with it as chips were good though it was served with mayo dip. This dish deserves 2
Ps: I rated this 4 because their chinese items were really good and for that warm smile from that kind gentleman and the ambience as well
I used to eat over here regularly during my college days. Although it was not as cheap as compared to most of the North Kolkata eateries, the quality and taste of the food is really good. Today, after 4 years I went to this place again. It's still the same. We had ordered chilli garlic chicken noodles with Schezwan chilli chicken. The quantity was sufficient for 2 and the bill came to be around 470. Thumbs up for this place always!
This place brings back a lot of memories about my college life. Situated in College Street just opposite to Gate no 1 of Medical College. Food quality is above average. Ambience is fantastic. Highly recommended if you visit College Street
I'll keep it simple .. one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever tasted .. ordered other stuff from the menu equally good . Definitely going again.
Located just opp of CU college street campus, this restaurant serves tasty delicacies. We tried a chinese starter and north indian main course.
Tai pai chicken was really awesome..loved every bit of it.
Next we had butter nun and chicken bharta.. They serve a good quantity for 3. North Indian dishes were also good but wud next time love to try their continental and chinese delicacies.
Have tasted their Red Sauce Penne Pasta & Dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream scoop & dry fruits and sweet chocolate sugar sticks!

A good multicuisine budget-friendly restaurant in College street area. The restaurant is divided into two sitting areas and the ambience is quite nice and cozy. I've tried almost all their dishes and among them my favorites are Tai Pai Chicken, Cheese masala Dosa and their special mixed fried rice. A good place to hangout for college students and even for family lunch.
One of the finest multi cuisine restaurants of North Kolkata. Serves a huge variety of cuisines. And everything is good. Located just opposite to medical College gate beside hidustan dhaba , this place provides quality food be it Chinese continental or north indian.
From north indian cuisine tried their butter chicken with naan . Soft juicy chicken pieces in rich buttery gravy which pairs well with butter naan.
From the pizza menu I had their chicken pizza which costed around 230 . Looks with chicken and good amount of cheese as well on the pizza made it taste really well . But cost wise if I compare it with other pizza shops then I must say that it is costly .
From the south indian menu i tried their chicken masala dosa . Size was grand . Served with 2 chutney and samber . Stuffing had a good amount of chicken . Cost was 180 . This was. Good deal.
Finally from the Chinese menu I had the Chinese chicken chopsuey .This is the best amongst all. Crispy noodles were served seperately and the chicken broth with boiled vegetables in another bowl. You have to mix the two and eat . It was very tasty and very filling too. Price was 200 as far as I remember .
I had ordered one veg hakka noodles and one veg schezwan rice.
The taste was very good and the quantity was also more than enough.
I have been there and the place is also very good. They have very cool table mats.
Been here since 2013 since ive joined my college. The food never fails , tried almost everything out here. I love the red sauce that they give with the dosa also their sambhar i really like. Chilly garlic noodles is my favourite. Pan fried fish, combo meals etc etc. It would be nice if they uesd zomato gold /any offer.
Very nice ambience. Pocket friendly and food tastes good. We tried the Szechwan Mixed Hakka Noddles and some mocktails. The food was very tasty.
Location - in College Street
Located just near college square this joint is good for students to look after their pocket pinch's and all the food tastes really good from dosa to any chicken item the rotis are also good. Highly recommended
Courteous staff. Nice decor. Good food. Prompt service. A bit overpriced. Ambience is great. Quantity is sufficient. Overall a good place to dine out in college street. Must try: Chocolate Brownie
Happy fooding!!
Good ambience and very well food served ...
Polite behaviour and gentleness by the staffs ....
Food quality is really awesome... I recommend Hakka noodles, Chili chicken in Chili garlic sauce , fresh lime soda , fish spring roll , chicken cutlet ....
Located just opposite to medical college..they serve lump sum amount of food in quite less amount.... awesome ambience.. variety of options are available here.. Must try the sweet and sour chicken.. its delicious! Also their own specials..
The best place to eat in college street area. Average price, sufficient for 2. Famous item here is dragon chicken. I cannot miss eating my lunch here after shopping for my books from college street area
Art is most successful when it's simple.... It's the same for cooking also...& This little cozi joint ,sitting just opposite of the famous college square , stands as the perfect example of the saying....
Food quality here is quite astounding . The first thing that strikes you when you take the holy "first bite" from any of their delicacies, is, simplicity!! Yes they do not make those 5 stories there but what they make is some basic Burger & sandwiches, which tastes quite awesome!!!
Food quantity is also great
Food after effects are mostly very soothing
Food prices are on the higher side( if you compare the seating arrangement & lack of AC)
One bad thing is they are not very well decorated & they fail to offer customers comfort in terms of seating arrangements & air conditioning!!
Some of the beautiful dishes are, any burger & any sandwiches! Even after they cater large variety of dishes they are actually-effectively an efficient Sandwich & Burger joint!
Overall it is a must try for
Just beside the medical college gate 3.
Food station is my daily go-to joint.
Its a family restaurant with a simple decor.
It specializes in south Indian , north indian , fast food etc.
I love their kulcha , chicken Tikka , dosa and babycorn.
Average cost for two is 800.
I loved the food and the ambience. Service is good. Tried mutton handi lazeez for the first time and was not disappointed thanks to you guys. I will surely come here again and I recommend Food Station to all my friends
Rating - 4.5
Yesterday evening we paid a visit. Interior is nicely done with wall painting. Table mats are really beautiful giving a pure kolkattaiya charm. They provide a huge no of cuisines and dishes to choose from. Ordered for chicken lasagna, haka fish and blue ocean. Chicken lassagna was good, liked it. Haka fish was spicy and very much tasty. Quantity was satisfactory. Specially haka fish was more than sufficient. I didn't like the moctail much.
Staffs are courteous and polite. Servicing and pricing are good.
Well, I had been hearing quite some praise about this multi-cuisine restaurant for a while now. So, one fine afternoon we decided to visit this place, as recommended by our beloved senior (who was also supposed to treat us!). And voila!
I was completely bowled over! Be it the ambience, or the staff, or the super-delicious food, each and everything was just perfect!
We had #konjeecrispychicken and #crispychillifriedidli for starters, alongwith some #hotandsoursoup. In the main course we ordered, #chickenfriedrice, #mixednoodles, #schezwanfish, #chillichicken and #chickennoodles. #browniewithvanillaicecreamandhotchocolate was the yummy dessert.
The konjee chicken was nothing like I had tasted before, but I have to say, the chilli idli was something really unexpected, the hero of the lunch as one could appropriately personify. You can never ever understand that it is a South Indian vegetarian Idli, and not some juicy, well-marinated chicken unless you are either told before or you manage to isolate the bits of idli from beneath the saucy crust. It is really hard to differentiate. The oriental cuisine was definitely up to the mark, and the dessert was too delicious!
The staff is very courteous and well mannered, the ambience is pretty cool, considering the cartoons drawn all over. Food takes some time to come, as they make sure to prepare fresh food, and this tiny amount of patience does pay off really well!
Overall, I simply loved my visit here, and would like to recommend this extremely beautiful multi-cuisine restaurant to everyone! One of the very rare multi-cuisine restaurant that have mastered in cooking all cuisines with equal expertise, making the end products simply mouth-watering!
Hope to visit here soon... 😀😀😀
Went there for many times. This is the best place to eat in College Street area. A very pocket friendly and cozy place. The staffs are very efficient and courteous. Walls full of nice paintings will make you fall for the decor. Foods are delicious. Soft drinks are very refreshing. I tried both veg and chicken lasagnas and both were awesome. Pan Fried momos are also a must have. The pizza was not up to the mark as compared to the other food items. It can be a lot better. Will visit again for sure.....
Oh! This place is too good for college students as well as for family dinner or lunch. They serve North Indian, Chinese, continental. I have ordered a Chinese chopsuey. It has an amazing taste. Service is good and price is also not so high.
This is a nice cozy restaurant their 1st floor decoration is nice but a tad too much dim lighting...
Located in college street is a hidden gem.
I never had anything else other than their chicken masala dosa.
Its a treat , a must have ...
This is my 2nd visit to Food Station. I like this Chinese joint whenever I visit to CU main campus.
Both the food and ambiance of the place is good.
We took,
1. Veg Singaporean Rice
2. Chicken in Black Bean Sauce
Loved everything we had there. One of the best places for Chinese food near Medical College and CU 😌❤️
Small place near Calcutta Uni and Indian Coffee House. Famous for Chicken Masala Dosa and oriental items. Enjoyed the Shrimp Pizza especially. Only washroom, no restroom available. Fun graffiti decor and EDM on the stereo. Great ambience for a date, a family outing, or just some respite from walking in the book market
Food Station is a Wonderful Cozy Restaurant in College Street which reminds me of the Old India Lord's Restaurant in Dum Dum.
The Ambiance here during the Night Time here is so calm and so cozy, it is very lovely and very soothing, the stairs at the entrance have a cool design, the menu card has some cool artwork and the 2000s - early 2010s era bollywood music playing in the background makes the ambiance even better.
The Chicken Reshmi Kebab which I ordered was very soft and tasty and the Green Chutney was even tastier. The Service Men here are very polite and very professional.
It is a very calm place and I feel very relaxed when I am here. Indeed, this restaurant is the Secret Gem in College Street.
North indian and Moghlai dishes are good to taste . Chinese starters also taste great . But Chinese main course like Chilli garlic rice is very much indianised and taste is also not that good ok ok and Lasagne is also bad
My friend took me to this place and now I am in love with it! The location of Food Station is very easy and convenient. Coming to the menu and food quality, it's very varied and diverse and the food quality is amazing. This restaurant is one of the few which offers all kind of menu from Indian, Oriental and Continental. We had chicken fried rice, chicken Cantonese noodles and hot garlic chicken. I would suggest to visit this place once and try their dishes out. It's affordable and delicious. Also the ambience is lovely.
Decent place in this area and a peaceful and calm inside the hotel.
It is in first floor.
But the waiter service only when you ask otherwise he keep the food on your table and he will go and stand near the computer and talk to the billing person
( this was I encountered with) .
The place is nice and cozy and the price is comparable with many restaurants out there. We had chicken pizza there, and compared to the price, the medium sized chicken pizza tasted delicious. Better than Dominoes. One interesting thing is that you don’t have to rant about those pizza bread type, filling type, sauce type etc. like in pizza hut or dominoes. This restaurant have their own filling and it’s pretty delicious!! 😋
My friend took me to this place and now I am in love with it!
From the ambience to the variety of food they make, it's amazing!
We had mexican fried chicken, au gratin and brownie with ice cream.
All of them tasted so nice. The flavours were perfectly blended and cooked.
They keep Indian, italian, continental, chinese....so many types of cuisine.
The wall decor and wooden table chairs set the perfect ambience.
Definitely going here again soon!
Good ambiance and AC restaurant with many options of Indian and some continental food. I ordered Mix fried Rice and Mint cocktails, the taste is quite hard to drink.
But overall Good
Must try and explore it.
If you are looking for a quick snack then it is a good place to visit.

Cool place. Huge variety. Wonderful decor. Food tasted quite good. Had butter naan and chef's special chicken. Naan was soft and the chicken dish flavourful, customised to suit our spice levels. Would love to try the rest of the menu.
Food quality is ok. Atmosphere is also good. U can enjoy lunch dinnr both.
Good restaurants... Atmosphere is very good...walls are decorated with many great pictures of culcutta ... Inside decoration is very good..Menu card is designed in a lovely fantastic way like with feluda, byomkesh, satyajit ray etc...Food quality is good but I think price is a little bit high... Sometimes "happy hour" offer is placed in which 15% off is there....in near college street, it is a good option....you can visit this restaurants...
