This is NOT a restaurant. It is only a sweet shop at the corner of Rash Behari Avenue and Lake View Road,in South Kolkata, famous sweet shop on gives a wide variety of sweets. Sweets are very good though and by 7pm, you won't get too many items left in the shelves. It has branches in Park Circus as well as beside Gariahat market. Try their Sandesh, Chom-Chom, Rasgullas. Nothing spectacular, but very good in general It's best item is the flavoured "Mishti Doi" {Sweet Curd} that should never be missed. The sweets that are available have different flavours like Chocolate, Vanilla, Pineapple and Strawberry. If one is in South Kolkata, one should not miss this place for a sweety outing

I have been noticing this outlet since I set my foot in this city as it's easy to locate if you live in South part of Kolkata. Though, drowned in huge aspiration to attempt it, couldn't do so. Finally got a moment with my partner to hop in the flavor they were presenting. And that made us to choose these two. Being a hardcore sweetie (instead of foodie), I cherished every munch of them.

Quality is still maintained which is a big plus if one compares with what the other well established names in Bengali sweets have descended to. Been visiting this shop at Gariahat lately due to some other ongoing work in the area. Surprised that till date have not received any date expired items, which is rather unusual these days. On top of that the sellers in the shop do suggest what combination might be good for specific days or occasions. How can I not give a four star then ! 1 less star because of a little hidden location and smallish old layout

Jugal's is a very pocket friendly sweet shop. Quality is good but if you compare the variety and quality of Bancharam, Mithai , Chittaranjan or Ganguram it does not stand a chance . They are much better in my opinion.

A small store within the vicinity of Gariahat market place and can be spotified easily using Google maps. Yes, a small yet supreme store that can serve you with quality sweets at the most reasonable rates.

Better quality sweets, though the Keshar Rosogolla didn't really have much smell of Kesar and the Kadapak Rosogolla was just Rosogolla in brown colour with a very very faint aroma, it's still better than most other famous places in South Kolkata. I would say this is the best available shop in Gariahat Golpark area. As usual, Kadapak Sandesh in this shop was not really Kada, it was semi- naram pak... but that is what we get in almost all Kolkata shops.

Almost the best always. Mishti doi is to die for! Dahi vada and kachori subzi are good! Rosomalai in summer and gur rosomalai in winter are spectacular. Tip: Other Jugal's shop, owned by another brother, at lake view rd-rashbehari avenue crossing sells many sweetmeats of same variety at Rs 2 less.
