Xanadu is a very small Chinese restaurant in the shyambazar area. The ground floor is for takeaway. The first floor has a seating space of a maximum of 15 people. It is air conditioned as well.

The spiral staircase that takes us to the first floor is very narrow and old pepped won't be able to get seated in the dining area. Inspite of its small size, the menu is quite diverse. I was with my friend Shalinidey and we chose to have pepper chicken and crispy spicy Chicken.

First came the pepper chicken. 8 large pieces were fried well and the marination was good too. Priced at just 110 bucks, it was a fair deal.

Next came the crispy spicy chicken. It didn't taste as good as the pepper chicken but was all right.

Overall it's one of the good cheap Chinese restaurants in the shyambazar area. If u want a pocket friendly deal then do come here else if you want a fine dining experience, then forget this place!!

It is very small but that won't distract you as it's never crowded. They have arranged a nice setting with neon light and classy wallpapers. Air conditioned so not hot either
Shivam kumar a small boy always smiles and takes orders politely.
The Chinese you get here is what gets the points . Mixed Garlic fried rice and Chinese chopsuey are a myst eat and the quantity is more than enough for two. Chilly chicken and soups tasty. Momos are delicious.
Low on price.
Definitely a go-eat 👍

in search of a good chinese restaurant in shyambazar area , i found this small restaurant in zomato. located just opposite shymbazar metro no 1 gate .. the main minus point i found here is the space, literally very cramped .be here just for the food and you will not be disappointed .. ground floor has a take out counter , and a very narrow stairs lead you to dine in section in 1st floor, nothing fancy very average decorate but and a huge but is food -one word 'SATISFIED'.. we order pepper chicken, chicken hakka noodle and manchurian chicken, quantity quality both justified the price which is really very verry reasonable , pepper chicken was really very unique ,i love that ,and the other two item was equally very good, three item is sufficient for two above average eater like me :p.. the bill came 332 including 14.5%vat which is like can't imagine price now a days.. looking forward to go back again.value for money ... happy eating :)

Xanadu is a very small restaurant in the shyambazar area which is slowly yet steadily growing and earning its name. My first experience here has been really satisfying. Though not very famous,we came to know about it from zomato only and decided to grab a quick bite since we were in the area. We called them up and they guided us to their restaurant.

The place is very very congested and is actually really small in area. The stairs leading to the main dining area were very steep and it was really a problem to climb the stairs. The upper area was air conditioned and they had managed quite a number of chairs and tables in the small area though the number of chairs provided can never sit that many people at a time. The walls had paper designed wallpaper on it and it created a sort of attraction. Small fans fixed on top are turned on to help circulate the cool air.

We picked our choices from the menu card,we ordered 1 thai chicken and korean fried rice. This is a really affordable and pocket friendly joint and prices are totally on the lower side. The food though is perfect. The quantity, quality both are appreciable. The thai chicken was very delectable and i loved the white gravy. The chicken pieces were soft and tender. It went well with the rice.

The man attending to us was very polite and even apologized for the junior boy working over there who failed to assist us well sometimes. This is not a tax free joint. Overall,a nice growing place in shyambazar and i would love to pay some more visits here.:-)

This is the best place to have Chinese in the Shyambazar area...I regularly take home the Hot Garlic Chicken and the Xanadu special...the best thing about this place apart from the taste is the price...its one of the cheapest place around...the only negative for this place is the space crunch, but the food and the bill that comes out at the end makes you forget about all such things...

And another decent joint in shyambazar. Unbelievable. A small little eatery, the mezzanine being air conditioned. This one is just located beside the metro station beside titan raga. We went in at around 12 45 pm but the joint opens in an 1 pm. The courteous staffs did allow us 15 minutes early. Amazing neon light adding to the cool ambience. The paper print all over the walls and the photographs is funky yet classy. Since we were not planning for a lunch and it was a lighter snack we decided to stick onto starters. We did order in for a crispy spice chicken. And the other dish was suggestes by chhotu. It was pepper chicken. We started sipping our cold drinks and continued chit chatting and the food arrived after 20 long minutes. The crispy spice chicken was out of the world. It just was crispy and was amazingly made. The pepper chicken had the right amount of pepper and onion but it was too garlic strived. The bad part is however the space crunch. Too clumsy and you have to wait for long hours during the lunch time to bag in a seat. And also their long long serving time. And it is completely value for money. I am definitely in love with this. And am doing my home delivery bit soon.
