Sharma brothers is my all time favorite for breakfast or snacks... Located at bhawanipur area... Small local shop... Serve some awesome kachuri sabzi, Misti and snacks... Recently I visited this place... Tried the kachuri sabzi and samosa... Kachuri sabzi is good... Samosa is nice great with Chatni... Price is pocket friendly
Sharmas are always a good option when it comes to breakfast nd snacks. Their signature hing Kachori makes a great combination with their kesar Jalebis. Their Dhoklas are very soft nd Tasty.
Pocket Pinch for online orders...
50 for 6 kachoris
50 for 5 jalebis
60 for 4 Dhoklas.
One can visit this place for a evening snacks to have kachori and gulabjamun.Quality is good. But there is no such seating arrangements.I love their tok doi, which is really nice and tastes just like homemade curd.
Sharma Sweets
Winter morning. Cool weather. Breakfast served hot. What more do u need?
Sharma Sweets is unapologetically tasty.
Club Kachouri - Fried bread puffs with "hing" stuffing. Tastewise - 10/10 ( Everything was perfect )
Aloo Sabji - Potato sabji with strong flavours of kasuri methi. Tastewise - 8/10 ( Quantity of potato can be increased in each serving )
Jalebi - Thin strips jalebi which is crispy and sweet in each bite. Tastewise - 10/10 ( Again nothing to critique on. Perfect in one word )
We did not have the hot gulab jamun and the steam chai. Will surely get back for those and the kachouris.
Overall -
Food - 9/10
Staff - 6/10 ( If you are a first time goer you will have to find your own way. Just be vocal about what you want and give orders after deciding. Dont guess while giving the orders )
Cleanliness - 5/10 ( This comes with the street food but doesn't matter. The taste will compromise for everything)
Cost - 120-150 for 2 persons.

If you still haven't tried their kachori and chana then come out your place and chew it. This is really so yummy that during my college days I could not resist myself from going there.
ordered here through uber eats. i have ordered hing kachori and club kachori. the puris were hot and crispy. the aloo sabji served with it was also quiet tasty.
Ordered for 1 singhara Dahi Chaat with bhujiya. It was delivered hot. It was delicious. Enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely try out other items too.
Lassi and kachori perfect lunch in this scorching heat. Ain't it ?
The Hing kachori is Rs. 8 per piece and the lassi is divided into three parts: small (Rs.35) medium (Rs.50) and large (Rs.75).
In this scorching heat,we tried out the lassi from Sharmas. Two small pricing at Rs.35 and one medium priced Rs.50. Amazing in taste with the Malai over it. Yummy!!
One of my most favourite breakfast joints . Love their Kachori and Aloo Sabzi . Opens as early as 6:30 am and serves piping hot jalebis and gulabjamuns too ..and I am also a huge fan of their Lassi . â¤

great place for live kachori and aloo sabjee, limit your kachori intake to save some space for a samosa, jalabi. no seating arrangements but you can stand and eat for 10 minutes
This take away snacks eatery is situated at Bhawanipur.
Ambience is ok with no sitting arrangenents.
Quick service & nice staffs .
They serve desi snacks at an affordable price . Tried their hing Kachori and lassi.
Both were awesome .
They need to add more items to their menu.

A lovely place to have Kachuri. Tried the Hinger Kachuri with the divine Gulab Jamun. Ended the feast with the most comforting Lassi. Service was quick. Reasonable pricing left us all happy souls in the end.
Ordered hinger kachoris from this place for a Sunday morning breakfast at home seeing such rave reviews.Well.. wasn't disappointed at all.Best kachori and alur tarkari I tasted ever till now.The kachoris were crisp, big in size and delivered hot.The alur tarkari was flavourful..the aroma was tantalising. They also provide pickled chopped green chillies for people who like it spicier.Did not click photos this time since everyone was hungry in the morning and we got busy eating. Will surely upload next time.
Breakfast, evening snacks anything this shop is the best. From samosa to lassi everything is perfect.this shop opens early in the morning.
This a takeaway counter. Very easy to locate. They serve amazing Kachori and Lassi. Their Gulabjamun and Samosa's is a must try for everyone. Service is quick. Prices are reasonable.
Takeaway outlet with no place to sit. Very small and serves only kachori, singada, gulabjamun and lassi. Service was very quick. Friendly staff and ambitious & hospitality was very nice. Come to snacks kachori and singada both were very spicy, true desi and very tasty served with aloo sabhi and chatni which were also tasty. In sweet and refreshments we have Gulab Jamun and lassi both were very delicious and refreshing. Right choice for desi breakfast and quick snacks in bhawanipur. Recommended to all.
Woowwwww place for garam garam hing ka kachori nd garam garam singhara.... a perfect breakfast place for givin you taste bud a nice twist.... lassi ka glass is qorth trying... lassi k glass is pure bliss....
Amazing kachoris you get here!!! The best I have tasted till date! The chutney and the mirchi just add to the flavour! I'm salivating as I write this review! :P Every time I visit, I always have their kachoris and end my meal with a tall glass of thick cool lassi! The best, thickest lassi in town, hands down! I'd recommend this to a friend over and over again!
sharma serves the most amazing kachoris in kolkata. most of the time my morning breakfast starts with it. i love the chutney which they give along with the mirch and sabji . if u havent tasted their kachori yet u better go today ;)
It is near my house, nice experience and food is amazing. Early morning kachodi with lassi is something yummy. Go for it.
Don't think about calorie intake please lol.
Kahori 's are too good specially the mirchi they give is what I like the most...the lassi is of killer quantity...its stuffs u badly.. These are places to visit early morning for breakfast...
No surprises about the quality of food in sharmas. People are well aware of it and they live up to our expectations each time. The price is very economical and best for youngsters. They serve the best samosas I've ever tasted.
Its a place where you can eat your lunch/dinner or breakfast. They give food at a very low cost. And the food is very good. I can eat this food both times as lunch and dinner. And yes....lassi is also so good!
Just define awesome..just define sharma brothers..same..equivalent...
The shop may be small..may not look fancy but boy oh boy before any more further thoughts just have anything in this shop..you will know for yourself what I mean..
Product is fresh and too yummy..
Pocket friendly..
Must muust muuuuuust visit..
Located just at the chow raha towards Northern Park. I rate it 5 for their tea and kachori sabji served with chutney and pickled chillies. The warm, small, gulab Jamuns served hot at any time of the day won my heart. The Samosas from sharmas is what tastes like the flavour of kolkata.
In summer, their lassi is a life saver.
A place for quick morning breakfast and evening snacks.
Located near my place, this take away eatery is my breakfast place. The kochuri is itsekf so yummy, the singara is good but the best thing is their lassi which they serve in a clay tub. Its heavenly
This is a small joint at the 4-point crossing, in between the jadubazar & poddahpukur tank. The kachori sabji here is like you would get at any "Sharma" around the city. But the warm & soft gulabjamun is a must try! The lassi isn't upto the mark.
Sharmas.......could not do without it some time ago.......sabzi puri to die for....garam gulab jamun..cannot describe in words..have to eat it to believe it....husband's favourite was dahi samosas...opp him was our bhimda...his fish chops yum yum yum (binks knows very well wht i m talking about)lol
[Date visited: March 3, 2015]
Location: Chakraberia 4-point Roundabout; Adjacent Ajanta Hotel.
This outlet of Sharma Sweets was discovered by my colleague and was visited by both of us while we were around the area. The AMBIANCE isn't something to be talked about as this outlet felt more like a hole in the wall with no seating or table arrangements. One could stand and eat or do a takeaway.
The fare has always been those snack-type options which we prefer either in the evenings or for breakfast. Called for the following:
- Kachori Sabji
The Kachoris were piping hot, non-greasy and fluffy but, the aloo sabji along was cold yet, had the taste. Pairing it along with the sweet tamarind chutney takes the flavors a notch up. The tempered green chillies on the side add as a plus. The whole plate did taste decent. Wish the sabji was served hot.
- Samosa
The Samosa was served hot and had the crunch on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. tasted good.
The staff was friendly and served at a prompt speed. Prices were found to be pocket-friendly.
Overall an above-average experience.
- The Lassi and Gulab Jamuns remain due & we're returning soon for it.
Yes,one of my favourite place to have Gulab Jamun and Lassi. Not that much pocket friendly but friendly I would say as per the quality and taste is concerned. Their Jalebis are too good to be true.
Being a Bong, having Sharma's lassi and gulab jamun is like heaven. Never had such good sweets even in Bengali shops, but each have their own styles. Love that thing they put on the top of Lassi :D that the reason I have their Lassi everytime i visit.
Tried their kachoris and Samosas which were a delight but once their Singhara chaat was a bit salty. I love this shop and will visit here again very soon,if possible as it is at a distance from my house.
Sharma Brothers is located on the 4 point Netaji Crossing. it is located midway between Jaggu Bazaar and the Paddupukur Lake.
This kachori specialised shop is well known in its locality for its quality food offered at a very reasonable price. They serve most of their items at Rs. 5/-. Whether you consider its Hing Kachori or Samosa, whether Khasta Kachori or even Gulab Jamun. This is a place where you will see Taxi Drivers coming and eating as well as people in Audis & BMWs.
Talking about its food I would say it serves great quality. I have been having its deliscious samosas since past 7 - 8 years now and for me they have set a benchmark for the quality they serve. The extra Chat Masala present in the samosas just makes me want to ask for one more ;)
For an overall experience I would say is that everone should come at least once here and try their kachori sabzi, as its taste is to die for and not to forget, finally gulp it down with a Punjabi Style Lassi. The Thickness of the lassi offered here is something extraordinary. The Malai on top is like a cherry on the cake. So, all I would say is that everyone should try this once. :)
I have Literally grown up on these kachoris and when we are too busy reviewing pretty restaurants, we tend to miss out of these small places that have made us happy over generations . Sharma Brothers is the place where my mom ate her kachoris with my dad during their engagement time and we as children used to come from Victoria morning walk to eat kachoris every Sunday morning.
Located right at the chakraberia round about, near arya vidya mandir , its very easy to spot. and even if you don't the early morning smell of frying hing kachoris will draw your attention immediately .
They don't have much on offer but what ever they do is have been brilliant over the years and always consistently good. The puffed up hing kachodis with piping hot aloo sabzi is to die for. What i love is the accompaniment, the green chili pickle which is super spicy and the sweet sonth ki chutney . both compliment the kachodis really well
The samosa with the black aloo filling loaded in jeers and chat masala is simply awesome as are the khasta kachodis ...
Not many people talk about it but they make amazing soft gulab jamuns. these syrup dripping balls of goodness are one of the bets in the city.
Last but not the least is the lassi, available in bolt salted and sweet, they add a slice of dahi ki malai on top and is a favorite among all . They also sell set curd that they set themselves and has very little whey and is not at all sour .
Sharma brother is a part of my childhood and I cant imagine better kachodis . Hygiene is a bit of an issue here as is the parking, but i love it none the less .
Cheers !
I just had the kachori sabji and lassi and both were amazing
Location: Sharma brothers is located near soda pub or near the Ajanta hotel in Bhawanipur area. They provides you with Kachori subzi which tastes delicious only when served hot, samosas which adds a spice up in the mouth and hot gulab jamuns which are very favourable to our taste buds. To end it all, a lassi is required which is prepared here on a little thicker side and has a curd malai on top which gives it a perfect taste.
Pros:-
1) Food is delicious when served hot.
2) prices are reasonable.
3) staffs are moderately polite.
4) attracts crowd and run pretty well.
Cons:-
1) food is oily and does not cater to diet conscious people.
2) no parking facility nearby.
3) should come up with more items.
To conclude, a decent place to eat and enjoy kachoris during morning - Sharma brothers... :-)
The place located below my house (Direction to reach the place is: Walking distance from Netaji Bhavan Metro Station or Jadubabu Bazar Bus Stop) exactly opposite to Ajanta Dhaba.
They Serve Hing Kachori with Aloo Sabzi with Green Chilly and Red Chutney.. Also they serve is Kachori, Samosa along with Aloo Sabzi and Curd...
they serve Lassi (both sweet and salt) thick with cream slice on top...
With time they have increased their prices, but maintained their quality of food
Great food best ever club kachori tried in kolkata loved it a lot even took it in tifin đ
Best lassi with malai and their sabji kachori is even better and famous among people coming from out of town.
Nice of nearby school students and other workers like taxi drivers.
Value for money, very very tasty food
The hing kachori is delicious and so is the jelebi
