We stayed there for 5 nights as couples. Our stay was excellent. Location of the hotel is good,staffs behaviour is good, cleanliness of room is nice. Breakfast and dinner in hotel is good. Only one issue in our room, there was no sunlight/window or balcony which is not comfortable for long stay.

Rooms are old and under maintained, the cupboard door was broken and windows were not clean. Food is average except for Mishti Doi, which tasted amazing. The breakfast buffet is really sad. We had a beyond satisfactory stay at Siamton Inn, and we are definitely going to stay here when in Kolkata again.
They hav outdoor seating on plastic tools. their staff is polite and soft spoken. Food is reasonably priced and possibly targets youth/college crowds. The food is just about right.
The hotel is actually nice and visitor friendly. The food is very good. The only disadvantage which I found was one cannot open the windows as there are no window panes. So the smell of any particular thing actually stays inside the room for some time.
