Tried sweets and snacks on my visit to Kalighat. Radha ballabhi and daal is super. In sweets, rosogulla and kachagulla is a must try. Malai chanchal was also good.
I'm not a SWEET guy but must say it was worth having it here.
Online orders are accepted by food aggregators.
A little more cleanliness
very old sweet shop of kolkata, situated near Apanjan Kalighat, clean and taste was good.
Ordered through Zomato. Tastes very good.
A variety of delicious sweets, and shop location is pretty close to Kalighat Kali Mandir. If you want to offer the Goddess something else rather than typical "peda" this is a good place to buy variety of Sandesh
(1) Their White Misti Dhai Rs:220/Kg is must try for all.
(2) Singara Rs:8/pc is bigger than any shop in Kolkata.
(3) Sunday( Morning) is Kachuri Day! And that is from them for many in Kolkata.
(4) They sell on Online Food Delivery Apps too!
(5) But they don't make "Jilabi"- for that you have to go

Excellent sweet shop. Been delighted by the kamalabhogs, kheerkadam, malai chamcham. Yumm...
However their dhokar dalna was a let down.
Excellent. I carry it outside of kolkata - and it is worth every extra kg of luggage

Clean Sweet shop , good quality sweets and snacks , pure veg as in Kalighat temple area
