Hit wicket is a sports theme based restaurant. Renowned for serving one of the cheapest buffet in Kolkata. Starters was really good. They had a little scope to improve veg fried rice..other wise everything is perfect..it was reasonable with good quality. .
Honey ginger fizz was ordered separately it was not in the buffet.
The ambience of this place is lovely!

I'm writing this special review for this place because I celebrated one of my very special occasions here... Yes it's the 5K Members celebration of our FB group The Food Avengers-TFA... We opted their buffet... Yes they have introduced one of the most pocket friendly buffet in town... And the quantity and quality they are serving at the price is very commendable...Also at that time they are serving a complimentary hookha if you reserve a place for 4 to have their buffet... Staffs are very courteous and helpful... Ambience of the place is quite good... But two major issues... First of all the place is not that spacious for a group party and secondly the place is suffering from lack of maintenance... Except these everything was really good... We were a group of 25 people that day and no one complained about the service and all except one or two random incidents... Which are easily comprising... I will definitely recommend this place to all the foodies out there...
Rates are bit high. But the quantity provided by them may cover up the budget and also hookah, mocktails are available. Interior is just awesome...Staff behavior too good.

This place is known to all very well for their cheap buffet. Even I was really surprised after hearing the amount of price. So many dishes were there. Ambience was quite impressive. Food quality is very good.

Yesterday we visited this place, it’s near quest mall. We love their seating arrangement for their no smoking zone. We tried buffet option. Food was good, we like their buffet menu, it’s good as a evening buffet. Ice cream they served and it’s only two times. For the price menu and rules are worthy and joyful. People are welcoming. We will visit again.

Went there for buffet. It is actually walking distance from quest mall . Undoubtedly they serves the best buffet in kolkata which is also affordable. They had 9 items in their list& cold drinks too. They also served hookah for free .

The buffet was short and crisp. The starters were really good, especially the Dry Chilli Chicken and the Crispy Baby Corn. The noodle and the fried rice didn't taste that good, on the other hand. They provided us with complimentary Cold Drinks and a Hookah which would have cost us at least 50 per person. The following were served in the Buffet:

About the Ambiance,
Hit Wicket has a sports-based ambiance. The wall has significant detailing with stencil cutout of cricket bat and bowl. The floor will get a renovation of the grass carpet. Along with that, you can see a sports channel screening matches. The walls had memorabilia like photos with iconic cricket starts and also an autographed bat from Sourav Ganguly as well.
Was there fr buffet. Undoubtedly they had launched the chespest buffet in town.
It was good bt not that also. All were welly cooked, tastes nicely except the noodles. Loved the ice cream 😋
The place has a nice ambience, good vibes, servicings were also nice.

It is the cheapest buffet I had thus far. The food quality is fine. Some items were good and some were average. Ambience was nice. There is always a background music.
But there are two problems. First is they don't offer drinking water. You'll have to buy it which is not cool. Even roadside stalls provide free drinking water. Second, they'll add 6% service charge to the bill along with GST without any reason. If you ask them why is this service charge for they will quickly remove it and create a new bill. So if you don't notice that then you'll be paying for it.
Other than that it was nice and a buffet for just 259+tax is just awesome.

Hit wicket is a good option for buffet but I would reccomend not to have the egg chicken friedrice because noone of us likes that and a special credit to crispy chilly babycorn they were awesome and mouthwatering just loved it . If anyone want to enjoy a proper buffet from starters to desserts then they should go for hit wicket . The ambiance was very good with loud music just giving a night club / pub feeling .
Everything is unlimited accept the dessert that is 2in1 ice cream which you will get only one scoop .
The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Keep one thing in mind that you will get 1hr of time for eating so start when you are ready .

Loved the place. Loved the ambience. The place is easily accessible and minutes away from Ice skating ring. One more thing is that they have really courteous staffs. Try out the buffet here. It's a super hit!

This place is located near ballygunge phari. Near Quest mall. It is an amazing place to hang out with friends. They serve seesha. We went there for buffet. We had an lot of options. They had onions rings, crispy chilli babycorn, crispy chicken, fish fry, hot and sour manchurian, chilli garlic butter chicken, singapore veg noodles, mixed sauce pasta, chicken biriyani, gulab jamun, vanilla icecream, 2 in 1 icecream. They all tasted very good. The biriyani was light. The starters were awesome. The hot and sour machurian is remarkable. The gulab jamun was hot and tender. It melted in mouth as soon as i took it. This buffet was worth going. Its is a must visit for all.
This place is a nice affordable place for buffets with a warm and cozy Ambience. The food was good, and their service is really nice. Enjoyed there and the place has a bar, available for seesha and also has a Pvt sitting area.

This is extremely cheap and very good organised food you will get . The ambience is pretty good . They served their dishes in a very well condition presentation wise as well as taste wise too. The manager is a good person like he is very friendly with his customers. Visited this place just a few times back. It has a cozy Ambience with big TV screen (projector) and good music. There's a Pvt sitting area as well. They have a bar and also they serve seesha. The food was nice, especially the buffet was good and very very reasonable..
