small but well to do cafe located near hati bagan that serves one of the finest Chinese and north Indian food in that area.Opened throughout the week between the regular restaurant hours( 12 pm - 10 pm).The place is generally quite small and can accommodate not more than 20-22 customers but on week days it is usually empty.Cannot comment much on the ambiance as it is quite simple and sober but yes they do have AC so one can enjoy their meal on a hot sunny day with ease. The staff is quite friendly and humble and yes now lets talk about the FOOD.Yummy, healthy and filling if I have to describe it in 3 words, the food is really delicious and the smell is quite exotic, the chunks of chicken meat is tender and soft, the vegetables and noddles are fresh and one can actually taste the freshness of the beans and capsicum clearly in some of the sides and meal and yes the last but not the least it is really filling, a side for 2 is good enough for example a plate of chicken Manchurian will consist of 8 pieces costing Rs.160 good enough for 2.Over all it is a fantastic place, pocket pinch of Rs.400 - 500 for 2.

It's a little old place near hedua just beside fatso. The black door outside won't tell you anything, and once, u step inside, the counter and the grimy tables are certainly not encouraging. Yet stay a while, for there's a winding stair, up which is a wonderfully warm, dimly lit place with fantastic shabby decorations that will sensitize u to your regular Chinese cuisine in a humble and naïve way. The service is very good, the waiter is formal and of a different older Kolkata. Sometimes his manners don't seem to go with the shabbiness of the place, but u can see he is continuing the same way as when these blackdoor places were young and hip. The food, unfortunately, is not always up to the mark which is the only reason the place doesn't get a better rank in my book. But their serving is rather charming..I will recommend the choupsey. One request, don't go in large groups. You won't enjoy urself and this is not the place to hang out or even talk loudly..you wont have a savoury dining experience here but go with a date or your best friend or simply someone interesting and u will find a charming place to talk with good food and great service.
PS. The floorboard creaks, and if you try to walk fast, the whole place shakes..telling you its not ready for strong steps, telling you its old and fragile, the memory of a space really! ..just one of the things I love.
Its in hatibagan near hedua. Finger licking chinese food. Dry chilli chicken is awesome here. A small place but great ambience and value for money also.
Goof food. Reasonable price. Yummy menus. Perfect for gossiping. Service is bit slow but overall the behavior of waiters are very good. Bit small place. But a perfect 5 for food and gossipm
Being in Scottish is one of the main reasons for me visiting this place. When hunger strikes and affordable food is all you need, just drop in at this place. They make really good chicken noodles and the chicken in hot garlic sauce is the best they have. I have tried almost all the dishes of this place and the sweet and sour chicken is something you should simply avoid unless you want cucumber in the curry. But overall a good place to fill your tummy at a lesser budget! :)
The place is good to hang out with friends and even with your special ones... The atmosphere upstairs is very comfortable, the food quality and quantity within the budget is good... What I liked most here is chicken fried rice with chicken with honey... I just love being there with my special ones... I would suggest all, atleast to try once...
This is a great place to enjoy with your friends. Situated just beside hedua park, this place is really a good option for school or college goers.
I have ordered this time a plate of mixed noodles and garlic chicken. They used to take a less time to serve but will allow to spend time with your partner. Ambience is good to start your early loves.
Food quality and quantity is better than average. You will get value for your every penny. Tastes good yet pocket friendly.
I will recommend my junior friends of north Kolkata to pay a visit here with your loved ones.
Well its amazing to see canton too on zomato. Superbly delighted indeed. This is supposedly one of my favourite chinese restaurants in north kolkata. This one has been my favourite since college days. College days were tomes when there was no money in the pocket yet we had a desire to eat out. Canton too perfectly served us during those dark days. My favourite amongst all this is the steamed chicken momo. Its soft supple and tasty. I simply adore this. Then of course canton too special fried rice with a huge egg poch instead of scrambled eggs that is a killer. Team it up with garlic chicken. And you would possibly have the best meal. Gravy chowmein definitely needs to be worked upon. The dry chilli fish tastes amazing. I loved the dim chandeliered decor upstairs. Its kind of romantic. Well I am definitely going bag to hog in again.
Ordered Mixed fried rice, Egg gravy chow with Cantonese chicken. Taste was great. Price is very reasonable. Shall try again.
Canton too a food joint located just near to Hedua Swimming pool made for people who are low on budget and are looking for decent food. The things we ordered are as follows-
STARTER- Fried spring chicken
MAIN DISH- Schzewan Hakka Noodles
SIDE DISH- Chicken in hot garlic sauce
Fried spring chicken was tasty and the noodles and chicken was too spicy but the only thing that we didn't like was the chicken. The chicken was hard and we were having difficulty in chewing it.
I want to term this restaurant as 'underdogs' since customer turnout is really low when compared to restaurants situated beside. Whenever I have visited this place everytime I find this place deserted and I dont understand why!
Coming to the food, at this price what they are offering is very delicious and tasty! Momos are good and In maincourse you can have chicken manchurian or schezewan chicken with rice or noodles! The service is nice. But one thing I definitely hate is that the way they parcel and it should change!

one of my favorite restaurant..their upstairs sitting arrangement is just awesome.. the restaurant not only serves Chinese foods but also maintain a China town environment..i often go here..service is really good..the waiter is very very well-mannered and helpful.. foods are also quite good especially their gravy chow..more than all these what i like about this place is the private space they provides at least try to provide ..its really rare in restaurants
