Had a wonderful experience there. Beautiful place with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Waiting time could be a bit high during rush hours, especially on any holidays. Food was fantastic as well as the ambience and service.
Excellent cafe with ample space and great ambience. You can sit inside a closed room or outside open air. Coffee and Hot chocolates were good. Food was good too. Full marks for the ambience. Parking can be challenging. But most of the time it is available outside of the cafe beside the road. Very much recommended.
Discovering hidden charm at this Kolkata gem, where an old house metamorphosed into a quaint cafe oasis. The fusion of vintage aesthetics and modern comfort creates an inviting ambience. From the checkerboard pattern old style tiled floors to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, every detail echoes history. Attentive staff and the serene courtyard offer a retreat from the bustling city. A perfect blend of nostalgia and contemporary vibes, this cafe captures Kolkata's soul, making it a must-visit for those seeking culinary and cultural bliss.
It's an expensive place but the ambience is nice. Honey chilli wings were good, peri peri chicken pizza was good but the pesto pasta was too bitter. I would recommend trying the brownie blend coffee. We didn't like the cranberry coffee 🥲 but espresso lovers will like it I guess. Overall it was a good experience.
Located in Gariahat, Roastery coffee house is a beautiful spot for spending some quality time with friends and family. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating facility. The eatery has very nice ambience.
Coming to food, we ordered cardamom latte, hot chocolate and cheesy chicken sausage garlic bread. The food tasted well.
Great place to hangout and have breakfast, snacks or brunch.
Visited Roastery Coffee House for evening snacks. The food was good, although a bit pricey. However, the experience was tainted by extended waiting times and a lack of relaxation due to frequent staff interruptions for additional orders or settling the bill, likely to manage the waiting queue outside. Over experience 7.5 out of 10.
I look forward to visiting Roastery. Everytime I visit, I am amazed by the decor and I end up trying something new on the menu. We took the Chicken salad with lots of veggies, fish in pesto sauce and iced mocha. All of them were good!
Yes, indeed Roastery Coffee House is an experience!! You just need to go and sit and enjoy the ambience. There's peace, there's serenity and a lot more.
Okay, let's come to food and definitely coffee. So order their signature Cranberry Coffee...it's a WOW!! I went with my mother and she ordered a Brownie blend it's also worth a try.
Yes the cafe is expensive but it offers an experience and not just coffee. Uk just like Starbucks does. So just come when you have time and sit, embrace yourself. I will be sharing pictures as well.
1. Food in comparison to its prices, were pretty good.
2. Even the mocktails were pretty unique (although adding coffee to everything is not the right way to go about it xD) For example, kiwi and coffee? 🤢
3. The dessert was too good. They nailed the cheesecakes.
4. Sit outside for Instagram-worthy pictures

😋 We Tried: Kiwi Coffee, Coffee Mojito, Honey Cinnamon Cold Brew, Cranberry Coffee, Mutton Keema Bruschetta, Shakshouka, Jalapeño Sautéed Prawns, BLT Croissant, Triple Layered Mousse Cake.
❤️ Experience: All the food items were good, specially the Mutton Keema Bruschetta and the Triple Layer Mousse Cake was exceptional. You can also try a variety of flavoured coffees based on what you like and their recommendations.
😍 Must try: Kiwi Coffee, Mutton Keema Bruschetta, Triple Layer Mousse Cake.
Well looking for some cool café to hang out with family… finally settled down on this as it won some Zomato awards…
Luckily there was no waiting time and we decided to sit in the courtyard (inside sitting was too formal, though less noisy).
We ordered-
Drinks: Brownie Blend, Milk Mocha, Cappuccino
Food
-----------
Peri peri chicken wings: I love it, though it was on the spicy side, of course it would be, its peri peri. -5/5
Fish Finger- soft bata fish pie- 5/5ces, perfectly fried, taste amazing- 5/5
Tiramisu- there was some bitter taste, I know it was liquor but somehow whole experience was not good for us, so big no- 2/5
Service: too good. Courteous staff, promptly answering any questions/requests.
Price: 150-400 for drinks and the same for food.
Ambiance: I still believe, that any café in the daytime, looks more bright, more colorful & more attractive of course exceptions are there). Lighting at the entrance will woo you for sure!
Overall – 3.5/5, yeah you can visit this, but I would explore more as I am new in the city.
Roastery coffee house has been providing some of the uniquely prepared coffees in the city of joy. When I came to know about their art of making delicious coffee, I included it in my must visit cafes during my Kolkata trip. First time I visited it during this year's Durga Puja. But it was completely packed, so we had to wait in a queue and adding to that it was raining that day so, outdoor sitting was not an option any more . Finally when we realized that it is taking too much time, we decided to cancel our breakfast here. The next I came here for brunch during Diwali. And this time the cafe was somewhat empty and we were able to find a table for us.
Sandwiched between two houses the cafe is located in the narrow street of Gariahat. Both outdoor and indoor sitting arrangement is available. The exterior is decorated with plants and greenery where are the interior has a soothing white colored appearance. White colored walls, black & white flooring, proper sitting arrangement, all of these results in a well maintained ambience. Here you and your friend/partner can relax and spend some quality time while sipping your favourite coffee.
We ordered latte, iced americano, veg club sandwich, pizza and dates cake. Coffee was awesome. Having a perfect coffee like this is the best way to start my day. Sandwich was well prepared. It had a mixed flavor of veggies, creaminess and tanginess in it.
But the show stopper was the dates cake. Smooth crunchy with the perfect amount of sweetness. Thats what I liked about the food here. Everything was so well balanced.
Overall I can say that its a must visit cafe for coffee lovers. So do try this place out.
Loved this place, green, full of plants, the pasta with white sauce is really tasty, I can say better than any other place of Kolkata, the avocado toast also, coffe with veg milk so good for the lactose intolerance people ! Loved this place
A nice place, loved their coffee which I guess one of the best beverages they serve Also loved their spaghetti with garlic bread which was really upto the mark. A cosy space if you are feeling to have a 'me time' or may be with your pals.
If you love some good coffee & food with old calcutta courtyard vibe then this place is perfect for you.Well mannered staffs ,beautiful decor will definitely blow your mind.Just sip coffee with your loved one!
I was very fascinated by the high scale ratings and photos of this place. Alongside rich history of the place added to my desire.
We sat out in their open area after waiting for sometime. Place was vibrant and happening with small tables all around.
We ordered Vietnamese Iced Tea, Zucchini fries, Penne Pasta Veg, potato Gnochhi pesto pasta and two piece brownie.
All items were top-notch but Gnochhi in pesto sauce was my favourite.
Staff was courteous and polite.
Pricing was bit high compared to portions provided but it was worth taste wise.
In the middle of the city chaos the restaurant provides a wholesome experience of fine dining. They serve stumptious food and shakes . Stuffs are highly appreciated for their knowledge of food and hospitality . One can sit inside the comfort of ac or can have an experience of outside dining as well. A must visit in Kolkata

We went to Roastery Coffee House on 22nd Day of December, 2023 to celebrate our marriage anniversary. Good place. Earlier it was Calcutta South India Club where early 1990s only south Indian foods were available and we so many times went there for Dosa, idli. Only before 4 or 5 years the coffee house is open.
