I recently visited this restaurant and had a delightful experience. As a fan of sushi, I was pleased to find a variety of Jain options, including Jain Sushi and Jain Dim Sum. The extensive menu caters not only to Jains but also to regular vegetarians. The ambience is pleasing, and the food surpassed expectations, making it an excellent choice for those with dietary restrictions and anyone who appreciates delicious vegetarian options.
This is a fine dine restaurant with minimal space. Ambiance is simple and decent.. They serve Asian and Indian food.. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant… Foods are good in taste.. All the items were well prepared and delicious. Even the drinks were really well presented and taste wise also quite nice..
Service is good.. Well mannered staffs..
Thumps up for vegetarian meals..
All in all a decent experience.. Food looks colourful but it lacks the wow factor..
I’m a non-vegetarian but if I get vegetarian food this good, I might give up on non veg food. That says a lot about this places quality of food
The Flaming Bowl is the one stop resturant for Pan Asian Food. The ambience is super soothing and the seating area is comfortable. The seating area is divided into four sections.
So I visited this place with some friends and I had trier out the following dishes here:
I started meal with a cup of Mint Tea and it was super refreshing. Then I tried out the Spicy Mushroom Dim Sum was super super tasty and juicy. The dim sums just melted in my mount. The Crunchy Potato Open Bao
& Chilly Mushroom Open Bao was filling and tasty. Thai Cottage Cheese Faffa was soft and well cooked. And I should mention this that I am not a huge of veggies but after tasting the Spicy Sease Vegetables I had to change my mind. It was super crispy and tasty. The Spicy Green Noodles had a well balanced spiciness to it and it was really tasty. The last dish I had was Carrot Cream Cheese Sushi and yes it was my absolute favourite after the green noodles and spicy sease vegetables.
For dessert I will highlight recommend the
Thai Tender Coconut, the presentation was superb, this dessert tastes amazing. You can also try out the Chocolate Cigar Roll, Coconut Dimsum and Daarsaan for dessert.
My overall dining experience was amazing.

Flaming Bowl is located near Balwant Singh Dhaba. It is a pure vegetarian, family restaurant offering a variety of spread across its menu. They serve Asian, Indian, Jain and Vegan food.
We ordered the following items and each one was just yum yum.
For Starters
Som Tam Salad – It was served quick and the dressing which was given made the salad more tasty and unique.
Burmese Khao Suey – a perfect soup with balanced taste of coconut milk, very few places actually get the taste right along with the and crunchiness of peanuts and caramelised onions given as toping. A must try. It was soulful.
Tandoori Aloo – Aloo is everyones favourite and these were surely the ones which we will make you fall in love with aloo all over again. The fillings were balanced in flavours and went well with the smoky taste of the tandoor.
Broccoli Chesse Dim Sums – just melts with a bite and its was heavenly. Must dish to try.
Asparagus Sushi – These were better than Papaya and special mention to the extra spicy wasabi which they have. If you like your wasabi stronger, do call for the extra spice one. Its going to leave you totally hot.
I would like to mention about their Spicy Green Noodles. This dish was simple yet had a lot of flavours to it. The dash of lime on it while eating added even more refreshing taste to the buds and was super yum yum yum.
A huge fan of their Thai Tender Coconut – an absolute favourite and no words can describe the feeling which one has with just a bite of this icecream. Its served beautifully in coconut shell along with coconut tender icecream and white chocochips. (Must Try)
For drinks one can try Coffee O Ice, and Mint Tea. Both are good in taste and light on the tummy.
Even the owners are very warm and they make sure everything is served well at all tables and every customer leaves the restaurant with a beautiful smile, happy heart, and full stomach.
So a full five star to this place and would recommend everyone to visit at least once with family and friends.
THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD, ESPECIALLY THE SUSHI!!!❤🤌🏽

Pan Asian food at its best, at The Flaming Bowl . And mind it, this being a vegetarian restaurant will definitely not affect any taste or quality factor. Food here is genuinely good and the resemblance to authenticity is way too much.
Tried some of their signatures dishes and fell in love with each one of them. And a bonus? Their presentation and beautiful cutleries.

This is one fine dine experience that you should have when you are in Kolkata. They serve Chinese, Japanese, Thai and other Asian food and guess what? It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. We ordered around 7 dishes( don't remember all the fancy names, Lol) but it included dim-sums, bao, noodles. All the items were well prepared and delicious. Even the drinks were really well presented and taste wise also quite nice.
Coming to ambience- It's not something that will make you go wow but it's decent.
Service is top-notch
Overall - Brilliant restaurant and will definitely visit once more
There's only one word to describe our experience: epic 🤩 I haven't had sushi in 3 years since I turned veg and usually there's always some ingredients in veg sushi I don't like (bit of a picky eater 😅). I just loved the dragon maki and the tempura maki rolls! The cream cheese dim sums were amazing as well! Will definitely come again ❤️
The only criticism from my side: please stop using plastic straws 🙂
Nice and cosy place with lots of Indian and Pan asian vegetarian/ vegan options. Food was delicious, service was prompt and the staff were friendly, even helping us select dishes since we were confused what to try from the big menu.
Well-behaved staff, good 🎵 score in background, nicely-decorated walls and of course sumptuous food make this place vegans' paradise.
Great unique place, good food and big portions, taste and ambience was also nice. Must try.
Fine vegetarian food. Options for no onion and garlic as well.
Can have a lot of Asian delicacies in pure veg without compromising on taste.
Lots of good veggies put into the plate.

Good food , cosy atmosphere, but a little cramped up. Flaming bowl offers an innovative Asian and Indian menu, perfect for Vegetarians as this place doesn't serve non vegetarian.
I felt it was a bit over priced and the portion sizes were relatively small.
Nice and innovative menu with chef specials from around the globe.
