Great to hang out with friends or family and have a drink or two. The view is excellent from up here. Food is delicious. Especially fries and pizza.
Many people have wrongfully given reviews on Kava restaurant hosted by Fairfield under this Vertex restaurant. Both places are not at all the same, Kava is more of a diner and Vertex is kinda bar and they have their menus very different. So kindly checkout before coming.
Took out a * from service as I went there on a Tuesday and it was not crowded at all, so they didn't bother attending the customers regularly.
This place is good for a buffet. Within 1.6k you will get a buffet for each. Now coming to the menu, the menu is not so spread out. Standard kebabs where the quality of the chicken is not so good and seems to be frozen for long. Other starters and dishes were not so special, you will enjoy that more in bbq nation.
One thing worth mentioning is the biriyani quality which is really good. The biriyani in the buffet was almost empty and missing muttons, but when I asked, they especially sent one bowl to my table which was full with pieces of mutton.
Another speciality of the buffet here is the dessert.
You really get to enjoy a lot from the menu and the options are huge.
Serve time is from 12.30-3.30 .
In drinks they offer one seasonal drink and Sangira.

Excellent ambience. Loved the view from the restaurant. Food was good too. Though the non-veg variety was less but still good enough. All staffs were polite and well behaved. Dessert was delicious and yummy too. Very much recommended.
We went for the Dinner buffet on a weekday.
Compared to price the number of items was pretty less although quality is good. However some items took forever to refill despite multiple follow ups and we ended up not having it.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The ambiance is good and the window side view good too with a nice view of the Biswa Bangla gate.
I had the pleasure of attending an office party at Fairfield by Marriott on Tuesday, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and the staff was very helpful. The food was great, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent, and the presentation was top-notch. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott to anyone looking for a great place to have a party or any other event. The overall experience was beyond my expectations, and I look forward to visiting again.

Visited this place last week and had a great experience. Starting from the ambience to the food and the behaviour of the staff members, everything was on point.
I will start with the environment first. I really liked the cozy ambiance with soothing music or bollywood numbers. Every seating area is seperated from others to maintain proper social distancing.
Next, it comes to food. Quality, portion, taste... everything was amazing. Although the place has limited options for food, each item is carefully prepared and tastes wonderful.
And last but not least, service was prompt. We didn't have to wait for long. Besides, there were some other cleaning staffs, who were cleaning the areas constantly. So, the area was sparkling clean.

We had gone for lunch with a team of around 15 members. The buffet was good. There is no service at table other than water. The items were hot and tasty.The food was a combination of Italian,Indo-chinese and Indian. A few items from the dessert counter was quite good mainly the Mihidana and Rasamalai. One thing to add -they prepared special Jain food for one of our team members on request.

Expected a few more non-veg items. Also didnt expect dishes like Baigan Bharta or Bhindi Masala among the Veg dishes. The 'Misti Doi' tasted sour. And there was a chat counter, but you have to prepare it on your own - would have preferred if someone did it for us.
Location was aswam, Kolkata gate looks stunning from Rooftop.
Regarding ambiance its quite good, live music 🎶 excellent and good quality is average.
In terms of price , its quite expensive compared to other.

A bit different from the usual buffet we are used to at ABs or Barbeque nations...
food tastes v good and quality ones with complimentary drink of choice which are also v tasty.
Beautiful ambiance also with options of open dining.
Definitely worth a try if u want some quality and elegant food.

Kava is located on first floor of Fairfield by Marriott at New Town very close to Biswa Bangla Gate. Food is really nice, good variety and tasty. Those who prefer less spicy and less oily food can opt this one. The only disadvantage is dessert didn't have ice cream. The pastries were nice.
It was a great moment at Marriott.

I don't know why this place is rated with only 3.1 stars. It's much better! I had a great time with my wife here. There were so many items in the buffet. I loved the taste of 95% of cuisines. Definitely deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must visit if you have Dineout Passport membership.
