Shaikhs. One best beef steak I eat kolkata & dessert was too good. I loves the food Shaikhs.
The food is really good. The taste and portion size was satisfactory. You can consider it on the budget side but the food is star class!
This is one of the best restaurants in Kolkata. "Beef Chanp Al Habibi Platter" The taste of this dish is simply amazing. This is a must try item in my opinion. Rating 5 on 5.
To try all their platters at once, "Beef Kebab Platter" would be the best. Rating 5 on 5.
Service and Behavior 5 on 5.
I will come again from Bangladesh to eat these platters again.
Such great tasting food. The meat is soft and delicious. Love the variety and the fact that they’re always innovating and coming up with something new. The platters are a must-try. The service is fantastic and I’m
Told the waiters have been personally trained - it shows!! One of the few places in town where you get beef!
It was great. Must try some kebab platter.
But the biryani was a complete mess. Do not order biryani.
Also their desserts looks good but doesn't taste that good (overpriced).
The food was really filling and tasty, now I know why it's one of the best beef restaurants in Kolkata. Might go again, super recommended for people who may wanna visit there.
It was an excellent food experience for me during my Kolkata visit there. Most of the dish was beef related. I especially recommend Beef chap al habibi platter, beef tikka with Kashmiri nun. Beef harishi biriyani was also delicious and remarkable. Highly recommended.
It was really a lovely experience to have so delicious food in Shaikhs with reasonable rate and every food is delicious and tasty. I must recommend to everyone to visit this place must. The ambience was great and heart touching with great service at everytime. Must recommended place
It was hands down one of the best place to eat these amezing foods the price is just perfect too . We had a amezing experience. The food was perfectly cooked.
Good experience, there kebab is also pocket friendly and delicious. There i was ordered chicken salad and chicken tandoori both are delicious. I'm very impressed. Car Parking also available.
A good Mughlai and Lebanese restaurant with indoor seating arrangement as well as outdoor. Indoor seating area is pretty nice and air-conditioned with comfy chairs. Now coming to the food, first I want to mention is that the beef was soft, juicy and well cooked. We ordered Harissa Beef Biryani half ( 275/-) which was more than enough for 2 people. Then we had Beef Surkh Handi (4-5 pieces) from beef gravy (275/-), which was spicy and I loved it. Mocktails are pocket friendly, we had fresh lime soda Rs70 and Sunrise of Rs 150. For me this is the best place for beef biryani. I highly recommend this place. Staffs were decent, ambience is good, food is mind-blowing. Only the disappointing part is Shawarma roll is small in size.
Best beef place in town! Pocket friendly, great taste. Had a lovely time at Shaikh’s
We had the Beef Chaanp Al Habibi, and the Baqar Roast. Both of them tasted great!
Even their naan and beef gravies are very tasty ✨
One of the fabulous dine in in the town. All exclusive items with amazing tastes. I've ordered for Beef chanp Al Habibi, Beef Nalli Nihari and Ertughrul platter and Biryani.. All of them are amazing by taste. Chanp Al Habibi and Nalli Nihari is the best. Nalli Nihari comes with two tandoori rotis and it's enough for two people. Biryani, Chanp Al Habibi is also enough for two people. Ertughrul platter was average but their presentation was amazing.. Ambience is overall good, staff's are also well behaved, but the place is very short, it should be more larger. Otherwise my experience is really wonderful✨😍, recommend this place very much.
The frequent posts and pics from Shaikh's forced me to try this place. Kolkata has a lot of beef joints but the food here looked and sounded interesting.
Nestled at Beckbagan row near Park Circus 7 point crossing, this gem is just opposite to Alam Pharmacy. It would not take much time and effort to find this place.
The ambience is not something great to write about but it has a cozy and quaint atmosphere (may be coz I went there in the afternoon). But then, I was not there to judge the ambience. Food was the only thing on my mind.
Without wasting any time, I ordered Beef Chanp Al Habibi Platter and Beef Baqar Roast Platter. A word of advice for my fellow beef lovers, do not order them together, since the portions are massive, by the time you finish one, the other dish may become cold.
We were told that both the fish would take around 20-30 mins time. We settled for mocktails and masala thumsup to get our machines running.
Surprisingly, the food came to our table within 15 mins.
Now let's talk about the food.
Beef Baqar Roast - Thinly sliced chunks of beef roasted to perfection and served with french fries and sauteed veggies. The chunks melt in your mouth and has a distinct taste. The accompaniments accentuate the taste but never interferes with the beef flavor. This is something that can be easily shared by 2-3 people.
Beef Chanp Al Habibi Platter - Finding a Ribeye steak in Kolkata at this price point is unbelievable. Add to that the massive size and perfect fat to meat ratio, this dish is a perfect treat to the senses. The flavor is never overpowering and helps you to savour the taste of the meat. This is also accompanied by French fries and sauteed veggies with similar effects like baqar roast. I remember having a big smile on my face every time I put a morsel in my mouth. The meat melts in your mouth and is a treat for your senses.
This is probably the best beef steak in Kolkata at this price point.
I am already making plans to visit again and try other items off their menu.
Well well well, I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this joint, nearly tucked away in a quaint corner in beckbagan region. The ambience is neat and simple, appealing to your taste buds in a good way. Behind the glass enclosure you could actually watch tandoor items being prepped for a fresh plating.
Post ordering, it took merely ten minutes max to serve a great piece of ribeye, smack in the middle of kolkata, at a price which would shame the Lalits and ITCs in a good way. Sauteed veggies and french fries adorn the plate too. Fall off the bone sumptuous and equally great presentation blew me away.
This followed with Baqqar platter, which again is a tenderloin shaved oval pieces, again adorned by French fries and veggies and equally sumptuous.
Gulped down a few fresh line soda and was good to go.
Left with a head held high, feeling proud that Kolkata still now doesn't fail to surprise a foodie like me.
Nice Ribeye steak, slow cooked and very tasty. One of the nicest beef I've had in Kolkata.
