The food itself was the tastiest thing we've ever had. Everything was fresh and the price was fairly reasonable. The staffs behavior is really good. They prepare live hot served meals !. This restaurant is the greatest of all time

Loved the taste of authentic bengali cuisine. We had veg thali, lau chingri & pomfret jhal. The taste was superb, staff were very polite & friendly. The ambience was good too. Our food was served in earthen plates with a banana leaf, water was served in earthen cups. Truly a great experience and would love to visit again. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

One of the best meals I ever had in a Kolkata restaurant. Was taken there by a relative alongwith a Keralite friend and a foodie. The kolkata foodie even commented this is way better than Oh Calcutta in some respects. We really gorged on the food which kept piling up courtesy my friends and yet at the end of the day it did not seem to be heavy at all. The owner lady who is also the Head chef with plenty of experience in running corporate kitchens ensures the quality of raw material, initial processing, the medium and the plating too which is brought to the table served by her trained staff. Special mention has to be made of the Kasha Mangsho, Mochar Ghanta, bhetki Paturi and the steamed sweet curd which came at the last...The sweeter surprise was the bill. We also had Darjeeling Tea at their coffee shop to relax a bit before leaving the restaurant.

Recently I came to know about TiSwa Catering who delivers some authentic bengali cuisine food to make your occasions more special. I ordered Kaju kismis Pulao, Chicken kasha, Potoler Dolma , Tel koi & Aam er chutney. Firstly I would like to say about their packaging, it was absolutely perfect , no spilling of gravy was there which impressed me a lot. I think every Bengali likes the combination of Pulao and Chicken kasha , I'm also not the exception. The stuffing of 'potol er dolma' was in bit sweeter side and the gravy was bit spicy , so both complemented each other. Tel koi was a finger licking good curry what I devoured for lunch on yesterday. You can order through swiggy for any of your special occasion. They are taking every possible precautions to serve their customers safely.

Ambience, food, price, staff behavior everything is very good. They served us warm water with a lemon slice to cleanse hand before and after meal. The dal, alu phulkopi, bhetki paturi, rui posto and chutney was truly authentic. The fishes were fresh and portions were quite enough. Overall I loved Tiswa's kitchen and would surely recommend to all seeking true bengali food.

I wanted to rate 4.5 but sorry, there is no option for it. Clean & soothing ambience. Amazing food quality & taste. Each dish has got its unique flavor. Banged on the presentation part. Staffs are quite friendly and welcoming in nature. Value for money, though the quantity could have been a little better. We were in search for an authentic bengali restaurant, it exceeded our expectation. Highly Recommended.

So I ordered few food items from here today. This is basically a catering company that delivers food all over Kolkata. You can also order from swiggy or directly contact them. They maintain a good hygiene routine which is very essential in the current situation. Now coming to the food. The packaging was very good and leakage proof. I ordered Basanti Pulao , Chicken Kosha , Dimer Devil , Chhanar Dalna and Chutney. I personally loved all the dishes. The Pulao had a mild sweetness that tasted perfect with the spicy chicken. The chicken pieces were succulent and very well cooked. The Dimer Devil was an unique one that had an entire egg along with smashed potatoes and mutton in it. The Chhanar Dalna and the Chutney were also very good. Overall it felt as if all the dishes are cooked at home. The quanlity was really good and the quantity was enough to fill one very hungry person.

What a wonderful experience we had at TiSwa's Kitchen and Calcutta Brew Cafe! Frankly, our expectations were high going by the loads of reputation earned by Sutapa Ganguly (better half of my friend Arun Ganguly) in the corporate world with her timely supplies of quality lunch packs over the past several years. The expectations weren't belied; rather they were exceeded, and we truly enjoyed the awesome food stuff dished out to us. It was super quality, I must admit, and my family echoed my feelings in no uncertain terms. It's a multicuisine joint with the TiSwa's Kitchen (named after the two lovely daughters of Arun and Sutapa) on the 1st floor and Calcutta Brew Cafe on the ground floor. The former serves you authentic Bengali food while the latter satiates your desire for high quality continental stuff mixed with typical Calcutta delights. To cite a few examples, you do get those spaghetti and pasta based items, apple pies (a not-to-miss item here), chicken quiches, mutton pies, various sandwiches, cheese and garlic toast, cakes and the like, plus kabiraji cutlets, fish fries, meat chops and what not. And of course, you can't leave without savouring your cup of Latte or Cappuccino or Espresso Delight. And why not a Cold Coffee with Icecream, friends? The highly tempting look of the Bengali cuisine notwithstanding, myself and my son beat my wife Rupan Chaudhuri by a 2-1 vote to settle for the ground floor - leaving TiSwa's pulao, luchi, chholar dal, bhetki paturi, mutton kasha, dak bungalow chicken and plastic chatni for another lunch visit. An appetizing Prawn Cocktail was what we started of with, and let me say that we were very very happy. The prawns were bigger and the lemon grass, iceberg lettuce below the cocktail sauce enhanced the quality manyfold. My memories of Skyroom has certainly faded but I thought that the one served here was no less, if not better. Am I sounding biased here? I am not, period. I was travelling in Europe extensively and quite recently (only two years back) and nowhere did I get this quality of a cheese, corn and spinach sandwich. Yesterday's was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. And the same comment goes for the blueberry cheese cake. The Fish n Chips (British style) impressed us to say the least. The batter was just too good, and who would beat the bhetki quality of Manicktala market? Pity the British there. The proof of the pudding lies in its eating. Taken literally, I could only stare at the caramel pudding in the showcase with my tummy allowing no further intake. Next time, I am not going to miss out on the cream coloured truncated cone with a tempting brown top. Needless to mention, we got a few items packed for home, and the mutton pies, strawberry muffins and bishop's nut cakes were amazing - as we found out today. Thank you Arun Ganguly for this fantastic initiative of yours in the heart of the city (crossing of Rippon Street and Mirza Ghalib Street). Really appreciate the brilliant food and its classy presentation. And as I said, your Cafe looks so typically European and the one upstairs typically Calcuttan with those fine painting copies of Aban Thakur. Wish you and Sutapa the very best with our promise to come back again and again in order to satisfy foodies like ourselves with all the variety you offer. My friends - go and enjoy soonest.......

Overall experience was very good. Service at sometimes was not keeping up to the pace while air-conditioning was inadequate during full capacity occupation of the dining space. Food as usual was excellent. Guests were very happy. Thank you madam Sutapa Ganguly.

The most delicious and delectable Bengali food. Excellent service, home delivered hygienically. Kind and courteous. But more on the food. It's awesome. You can taste the freshness, there is thought behind the recipes, it's not one gravy fits all. Highly recommended for parties, gatherings, official functions etc. Excellent portions that will leave you stuffed !
