Thank you barowari bhoj for making my mother's day special and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to enjoy Bengali cuisine with diverse platters and thalis. Keep up the good work. Not very good experience as per the Google review. It is so so type. The day we went the owner was busy only with an event which will took place in the evening. The fish in doi katla was not fresh at all. Same goes with vegetable chop. But quantity wise all foods are satisfactory. Dhokar dalna was out of the box. Superb. Although the shukto was little bit sweet than usual but it was good. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is also good. Actually 3.5 will be the appropriate rating for this. The restaurant has all the potential to make an impression in bengali good zone but it has to go a long way before that.

Excellent resturant with awesome food's. We took Fish & chicken thali, taste wise awesome. Served in well decorated manner. Quality and quantity wise good. Small and we'll decorated air-conditioned resturant. All basic facilities are available and most importantly the behaviour of the owner is very cordial. Located near 34 busstand, well connected from Dakshineswar station. Accepts mainly cash payments however online payment modera are also available in demand. Recommended to visit.

I have ordered multiple times from Barowari Bhoj and they have never failed to impress me. Today again I ordered for a special occasion and Barowari Bhoj have overcame my expectations. I ordered the Special Jamaisasti thali and customised it for birthday thali. The owner was generous enough to allow the customisation at very reasonable price. Quantity and quality both were so good that I will count it as the number one Bengali Cuisine restaurant in the city. A must visit restaurant. Kudos to the persons who came for decoration. Also, a big thanks to the manager who provided the best service as promised. A callout for everyone to consider visiting this outlet.

Last night me and my wife went to Barowari Bhoj to have dinner. Let me tell you my whole experience. Though we both love food very much and love to explore different resturant,we usually don't give reviews. But this one deserves a 5 star. At first when we entered the restaurant we thought "is it ok to have dinner in a such a small resturant!!.. Hope the food will be good." But when we took our first bite it was just heavenly. Food was like our homemade food. Neither oily nor spicy still the food was very tasty. We ordered "Mutton Mega Thali".. Each and every item was soo soo good and the welcome drink "Aam Panna" literally reminded me of my mother's handmade aam panna.. The mutton curry was the best of the lot.Mutton pieces were extremely soft, tender and juicy. The hotel manager is a very welcoming and a very down to earth person. If you love food and want to experience true Bengali food and culture at its best, this is the best place for you...The BEST Bengali food restaurant in whole of North Kolkata!!!

Beautiful place hidden in the side streets of Dakshineshwar. Visited for lunch as we awaited the opening of the temple. Enjoyed every item. The love of the chef and the team is so visible. Definitely a must visit place. Try the cutlet, the Mustard Steamed fish and ice cream is a pleasant surprise!

Amazing food (we ordered mutton thali and bhetki paturi); has lots of stories and honest hard work behind this restaurant. Nicely decorated and helmed by very affable people with great hospitality. Everyone who loves bengali food should give it a try.
