Recently visited this fine dining restaurant Williams Kitchen near Elgin Road ,kolkata and was amazed to see the lovely ,peaceful ambience and the range of their North Indian , Continental and Asian Pure Veg Cuisines.( Even have a Jain food option )

I rarely order vegetarian food at restaurants, let alone going to a pure vegetarian restaurant. But William's kitchen has definitely made it to my list as my favourite vegetarian restaurant. The food was amazing. Located in Shakespeare sarani, this place has a great view. The staff is also very helpful and attentive. We went in the evening. We started with a plate of cheese wontons. They were great, really creamy and filled with the cheesy flavour. The papri chat pizza tasted exactly like a normal papri chat. So unless you've never had papri chat before or are not a local, definitely go for it. My chocolate martini was really good. We then ordered a marinara pasta sizzler and a spaghetti augratin. Both were simply delicious. Cooked perfectly with all the creaminess. Definitely will visit again and will recommend to friends and family.

We went on a group . I pre booked the table from their website and got the confirmation and also got confirmation over phone when I called before 4 days of my visiting the place but to our surprise when we went the manager was like please show the conformation as the system wasn't showing to them and they don't have a manual entry to it. Well it was unfortunate but I guess they are not updated with the bookings on their own website. We got the space and settled ourselves and started ordering. The service not that great but it was okayish, the place is really good, the ambience is good and not a single staff has a smile on their face. The pleasing atmosphere is missing. Now coming to the food, the starters we ordered were french fries was ok, Lotus stem was good, nachos were not upto the mark, some item of paneer. The main course was good, ordered hakka noodles, Singaporean noodles, burnt garlic fried rice, paneer gravy, sweet and sour veggies. The desert we ordered was tutti fruti ice cream, death by chocolate, paan ice cream and kulfi, all the items were good but paan ice cream is a must try in this place . They need to improve in their services and atleast have a pleasing personality when the guests are around. I request guys if you want to book a table go and get it confirmed.
Simply wow! Amazing ambience, vast vegetarian menu, light background music, family friendly and a fully stocked bar. A rare combination and one of its kind in all of Kolkata. We had an amazing dinner here. Good quantity of food and excellent quality and freshness. Speciam mention for the attentive service standards.
We visited again on New Years day as we wanted a great start to the year with excellent food and we were delighted to see new menu items for the winter season which was delicious!!
Never thought Vegetarian food can be so delicious. We are like if non veg touches the veg dish we do eat the nen veg dish, obviously Pin intended...(IYKITYNI).
But oh boy their food is so tasty man. And the server I forgot his name may be Deep, he was so good at his work. Always smiling and enquiring if we are having fun and enjoying ourselves. Highly highly recommended.
Excellent place. One of the unique places with pure veg food with drinks. The taste of all the dishes was awesome. All of us loved it!! Portions are large. Even rotis are quite heavy. Service is excellent. Ambience is also good. We found it a bit noisy, but overall it was a great experience. Its located inside a building and not very visible from a distance. Although a bit costly but i would say definitely good value for money. Worth going again in large gatherings.

On our fourth visit recently, we were delighted to see an upgraded ambience with comfortable leather chairs and a much more vast menu choice. Looking forward to our next visit soon!

What a place😍😍😍 Food by chef Rohit was way too too tooo tasty. I went there again on the very next day of my stay in Kolkata and this place has my heart. I treied soups manchow and lemon coriander, I mean I called waiter and asked him to pack one for the hotel. Kadak rumali which I saw on someone's table and ordered it both days the soup and kadak rumali was on top❤️ Best place to eat the delicious food.

Manish and team are fabulous. After 3.5 weeks travelling through India, this was easily our favourite meal. The okra was especially delicious.
