Being a Kochiite, I was skeptical about finding a good restaurant in Kollam - some place that'll satisfy my vegetarian taste buds. Ramees literally shocked me. Their service - always serving food to their customers with a smile, cleanliness, and very reasonable rates make it the best restaurant in Kollam.
Though there're lesser veg options on the menu, EACH & EVERY dish is yummmmy. Especially their Paneer Butter Masala and Veg Kohlapuri. Their non-veg options are plenty and can satisfy any foodie!
Will recommend Ramees to anyone who's visiting Kollam 'cz it's worth everything!

My all time favourite !! I have been here n number of times, but time and again Ramees amazes me... starting from the ambience, to the food, to the quality, to the quantity, to the service and when it ends with the bill !! A pocket friendly restaurant where you can have a stupendous delicious finger licking food with your mind soul and stomach full !!
This time it was lunch which we tried on a Sunday afternoon on the way to hometown Alpy.. reached around 1.15 and almost all the tables were occupied... since we had pre booked the table our table was ready to be occupied and for the attack ..
Soon as we occupied the seat, there came the Welcome drink in a shot glass !! Hmmm ...
Te aroma and the flavour was awesome... something like that in a hot humid afternoon was really soothing... it was 6 of us who attacked the Menu card today ! The below was the menu choice for the day and my stars for the dishes rated out of 5 !!

Best restaurant now in kolllam is Ramees. Delicious dishes and the nice ambience makes it my favourite choice . Rates are affordable and quality is best, which makes it top choice of quilon

One of the best👌 and popular restaurants🍽 in Kollam District. My preferences in Ramees are mutton biriyani and mutton dishes🍲. Good service🍴 and perfect ambience too...
My recent visit to this renowned restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The fame was evident, as we had to wait around 20 minutes for a dining seat during lunch hours. As a vegetarian, I opted for garlic naan and mushroom pepper fry. The food was decent, but not outstanding, which was somewhat disappointing given the high expectations set by the restaurant's reputation.
On the other hand, my non-vegetarian friend tried the mutton and chicken biryani. They mentioned that the rice was exceptionally good, but the meat and masala were just average.
One notable aspect was the ample parking space available, which is often a convenience in busy areas. Despite the slightly underwhelming food, the restaurant's popularity and efficient parking make it a viable option for those looking for a dining experience with a bit of a wait.
Food is of great quality and very delicious. We can enjoy a variety of dishes. Atmosphere is also very nice. The attitude of staffs are very comforting. During peak hours its difficult to find a seat. So I recommend booking in advance. A great place to enjoy food with friends and family.

We went for lunch.As usual quite busy.Food was quite good.Chicken tikka was touch.they used chicken breast I think.Biriyani was ok ok.Ballari rice and Fried rice were good.Service can improve. We had to eat fried rice with hand...no cutlery served.Had to ask to get a fork.
I had the pleasure of dining at Ramees recently, and it was a wonderful experience. The variety of dishes I tried left me thoroughly satisfied. The Dragon Chicken was rich and saucy, with just the right amount of spice. The Beef Bellari impressed me with its crispy texture and well-seasoned beef.
The Irachichoru was a unique combination of fried and curry beef pieces served with rice, offering a delightful blend of flavors. And the Mushroom Fried Rice was a real highlight - incredibly aromatic and bursting with taste.
The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive, I highly recommend Ramees to anyone looking for delicious food with a diverse range of flavors.

One of the best restaurants in kollam, visited in September. Quality was consistently good. Was crowded and had quite a bit of wait too.
I must say this is one of the best restaurants in the whole of Kerala. Delicious food and quick service and cooperative staff. Biryani is a must try. However, the restaurant is usually full and crowded and can get a little too noisy. If you are in Kollam or are visiting, I highly recommend this place. Great for family dinners or lunch catch ups with friends.
Food is absolutely delicious. Service and ambience is top notch, though it is crowded usually, and there could be a minor wait time to grab a table if you are in a large group. Prices are reasonable and worthy for the portion and taste. Walking distance from Chinnakada roundabout/bustand.
Appetizing and flavorsome dishes like Bellari Beef Rice, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken 65 Biriyani, and Columbian Chicken. It has a good interior structure which offers a pleasant ambiance. One can even take pictures outside near the topiary plants.

Its one of the greatest fine dine restaurant in kollam.the food is really good and price is also affordable. The only problem is waiting time at rush hours . Its like playing musical chairs. I suggest to reserve seats and after that visit
Great food, good staff and cozy place to dine. One of the best restaurant in Kollam for sure. We had Beef fry, Beef roast, Pepper Chicken, Beef Bellari. The food is so delicious and very well made.

I really like the texture of the peri peri al faham. However they don't provide chicken quarters, it was a little disappointing because 3 of us need to share full or half for our meals and it's too price compared to other restaurants
Crowded but that's because the food is great (with a little bit of their innovation in dishes) and it's tasty too

One of the best restaurant in Kollam. Good and tasty food with verity options. Price is reasonable considering the food quality and restaurant ambiance. Most of the time it gets crowded so better to call and reserve the table before you go. They have decent parking space as well.
I am visited Ramdan fasting time. One of the most finest restaurant I have ever encountered. This place is a heaven for good food. I completely love each and every dish here with a very economical price. The staff is very professional and cooperative also they have very quick service even when it's housefull. ❤
