Salim Hotel is a must-visit in Kollam! The chicken fry was superb, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The porota was fluffy and super soft, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. While the mutton curry was good, it was a bit oily. The restaurant has limited parking, but there's ample seating inside. Located in the heart of Kollam city, it's easily accessible from the main road. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout. The pricing seemed reasonable. On the bright side, the interior had a cool ambiance with low lighting. Overall, Salim Hotel is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal! πŸ—πŸ›

The place just got an update and was renovated. The food here is tasty and is served in plates placed with Banana leaf! The seatings are comfortable and dedicated family rooms for families. The family room are a bit dark but okay.

As far as i know...this restaurant is one of the oldest in kollam city... Which is being there since my childhood... Thus, this place is very special for me... The Salim hotel is known for its delicious food, especially the mutton curry. The hotel serves its food in banana leaves, which is a nice touch, and it can get quite crowded during weekends. However, the staff are very efficient and takes orders quickly. You should really try each and every dishes of them and i would guarantee you...That they wouldn't disappoint you ever...

A great hotel for chicken fry and mutton items. They have good seating capacity and fast serving. Mutton bitiyani is excellent and is must try. Quality and quantity is superb and is enough for 1 person. Mutton chaps and porotta is also good. The prices are also reasonable. There will be huge rush during lunch time. Parking is an issue as there is only small space for parking. You may have to park on roadsides. Try to reach before 1pm to get a seat or you may have to wait.

Chicken fry was superb crispy outside and juicy inside. Porota was fluffy and super soft. Mutton curry was good but too oily. Have limited parking behind the restaurant. Have ample seating capacity. It's located in the heart of Kollam city and can be easily accessible from the main road. All the staffs were friendly in nature and supportive. Pricing seems to be ok. Washing area is ok but the gents toilet have nasty smell. Have a cool interior in low light.
