Had lunch and dinner both in this beach side restaurant. Had Dal Fry,Chicken Masala and Kadai Fish and Steamed Rice in lunch and fish curry and dry chilli chicken and butter naan in dinner. Every dish was delicious. Among them Kadai Fish was the star item which was served in a sizzling kadai. Only Butter Naan was not upto the mark. Staffs are well behaved. They accept cash, card and GPay.

This place is the most crowded and happening restaurant in Kovalam Beach. Most of the tables will be occupied by foreigners however I haven't observed any preferences given towards them. So I can propose that this restaurant is equally good for foreigners and Indian citizens as well. Sea foods are the most sorted out dishes in the menu, you can try some of the dishes with prawns which was excellent. Even their breakfast menu seems to be ok. Being Indian I wanted some extra spices in all my food I ordered and the staffs where happy to understand my taste and serve me well. During my stay at Kollam I had visited this restaurant 5 to 6 times and never had any unsatisfying experience. Hence I would suggest that if you are planning to visit Kovalam please try to visit this restaurant once and share your experience.

They don't have everything lip-smacking here. You'll not be disappointed if you eat 'Fish in banana leaf' and 'Malabar style fish gravy' with 'kerala parathas' or rice. Can also try Prawns fry, paneer butter masala for vegetarians Don't go for crabs here.

Its a sea facing restaurent with good view of the beaches.we tried their crab prawns and grilled fish. I would say all their seafood dishes were good and has a reasonable pricing compared to other restaurents at kovalom.

Food and service excellent. I ate here many times during my 2 week stay in Kovalam. One time I wasn't feeling well, and by the time the food arrived (just omelette and fries as I was hoping to be able to eat something light), I had gotten worse. I was shivering and cold. (A 1st in South India as normally I was sweating..). Thanks to the friendly waiter, Selin, who wrapped my dinner and gave it to me to take away. I really appreciated the care and attention he gave me that evening. And after that he always asked after my health every time I went back.

It's one of the many restaurants (shacks) on the Kovalam beach road, which allows good views from the place. There's a wide variety of food options to choose from. The food is good & the service decent. You can choose from a variety of seafood options and they prepare them as per your liking. The only negative is that the prices are high, as is for all of the shacks at the place. The charges are at par with 5-star restaurants sans the service & ambiance.

Great place to wind your day at Kovalam beach watching the waves gently crashing on the shore. The best part of the restaurant is that you get to choose your seafood and weigh it too. The price is reasonable and good ambience and staff. We treated ourselves to fresh tiger prawns, which the chef had prepared in Malabar style masala gravy. The gravy was creamy with coconut milk and perfectly balanced spices and it went really well with steamed rice. For the starters, we had beef fry and fish & Chips. The beef fry was medium rare, tempered in coconut oil, curry leaves, onions and Indian spices. The fish was fabulous and crispy &however the chips could had been better. We celebrated the night with beer served on Coffee mugs. Overall a good place to eat!!
