Hiya foodie
I went to this restaurant in Trivandrum a day before and the restaurant was just amazing♥️
Loved the ambiance of the place and the food was delicious ☺️
It was near the kovalam beach with amazing outdoors and indoors seating♥️
We had mutton biryani, chicken biryani, fish curry, cold coffee, pineapple juice and some paranthas with tandoori paneer.
The food was just amazing.
If i visit kerala again would definitely go here ☺️
Situated near Leela, Kovalam beach, this restaurant had great staff and is near a top location. While the menu was elaborate with tons of great options to choose from, the food was not so delicious. Considering we were super hungry and still didn't enjoy the taste, we were disappointed. With the male crowd around constantly staring (not the staff but the actual people there), it also did get a bit uncomfortable although the restaurant isn't to blame (since they can't control the crowd). There was another family around feeling the same awkwardness. The food came fast, looked good, we just regret the taste didn't match the service. Maybe the other menu options were better, who knows!
During my Kerala trip couple of days back ,we happend to discover this place at Kovalam.thanks to Zomato for this since we wanted to try typical Kerala food.we ordered noodle rice ,rotis, chicken, roasted egg ,fish varieties and lot more. We had chai at the end too. Rates are so reasonable. Service fast too.must visit place to have local Kerala food experience!
It's a fantastic restaurant on Kovalam Road known for its variety of seafood dishes, including the renowned 'Samudra Sadhya.' The ambiance is excellent, complemented by ample parking and spacious seating. A must-visit spot, especially for travelers en route to Kovalam."
The restaurant is true to its name 'Taste of Kerala'. If you are in Thiruvananthapuram then this place is a must for a quiet evening dinner with your family. The seafood is awasome prepared in traditional Kerala way.
One of the good dining place near Kovalam. The place is big and has ample sitting available. There are varieties of veg and non veg food options available. We mainly tried 3 different types of fish curries, fish fry and Chicken chettinadu. Overall the taste was very good and we loved the authentic Kerala style cooking. You can come by for at least one meal here while in Kovalam.
It was our last on trip to Trivandrum last Wednesday and before heading towards aiport we had lunch here. Everything we ordered tasted awesome and the service by Sharath was really great.
We coincidentally visited this place, had no idea it would turn out to be great culinary experience in Thiruvananthapuram
Located close to the kovalam beach, the place offers both indoor and outdoor seating a long menu that has your regular North Indian curries but also the authentic Kerala dishes. The seafood sadhya is a recommended dish
We also tried the Kerala style fish curry, chicken curry, methi paneer, gobhi manchurian and the Kerala parota. Food is fresh and prepared with mild spices. The prices are reasonable
Would recommend this to all looking for a good spot in Kovalam/ Thiruvananthapuram
Saw this place while coming back from Kovalam beach in the morning (around 10-10.30).
Looked all fancy but once the food came it was just average.
Their breakfast menu is not even a menu, they just say by mouth dosa, aalo poori and one more item. That’s it. Only 3 categories of food for breakfast.
Seating- inside outside both (breakfast seating is mostly outside).
We ordered two dosa and aaloo poori.
I like aaloo poori and dosa was just ok.
Food was mostly bland , 3/5.
Lunch dinner menus may be good but breakfast totally average. Menu other wise looks good specially for fish and non veg items, can try that.
I was having an indigestion issue during my trip to kerala...so , the waiter suggested that I should try appam and veg moiley. It was so good. I ordered 4 more appam. It was the best food I have eaten after so many days (couldn't eat much due to indigestion before)
I blindly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Our friends came to know about meen pollichadthu, the way saju waiter bro took us explained the fish varieties and its method of prep was amazing and definitely one of the best place at Kovalam for vegetarians too for panner dishes!
We went for a late lunch and the food was delicious. Chatta chicken biryani, large fish Tali, beef masala, pomfret fish all very nice. Clean and hospitable place. There was a dedicated server for our table. We will be back. :)
Had samudra Sandhya costed 1050/
It was really good . So many items were there . everything was fresh and hot. Almost every fish variety was included.. it is worth a try . Had enough quantity for 3 people. Staff service is also really good. very good restaurant to have food during kovalam visit. Wide variety of fish dishes are also available.
