Food was great. Dosas, chats, vada and idlis. They also have pretty good north Indian menu. I found the starters excellent. Paneer, mushroom, Cauliflower starters were really great. We went on a public holiday and was really packed. It was too hot inside. Maybe because of the crowd inside. Looked like none of the A/C was doing its job. Apart from the A/C issue, everything else was pretty great. Also parking would be a concern on holidays.

Looks like the best restaurant in the beach area serving vegetarian food. They do have a self service and a seating area. I cannot comment on the seating area as there was a lot of crowd due to which we opted to dine in Darshini style in the self service section. The Dosas were very well prepared. Though 3 different varieties of chutney are served, it was falling short in terms of the taste. They also serve chats which looked good though I could not try it as the counter was closed by the time we reached here.

Food: Everything that's being served here is extremely good. Ghee roast, Samosa, Chaats etc. are exceptionally good. Atmosphere: Spacious enough. Nice lighting. Seating: 6 seaters and 4 seater tables available. Tables are arranged at an appropriate distance.

Everything they serve here is extremely good ,we have tried their ghee roast ,mysore masala dosa ,spicy masala dosa ,vada set ,Sambhar vada .and everything was better than what we expected,I must say that this restaurant is one of the purest vegetarian place to eat in Calicut . However,I feel they should also provide some area for parking ,as it is difficult to find a parking for four wheelers in that area .

Veg magic 🪄✨ This is one of the pure vegetarian restaurant in Calicut. In this restaurant we get all indian vegetarian cusine from masala dosa to pav bhaji 🌝this outlet is near to Kozhikode beach. I am a non vegetarian but i am a big fan of the vegetarian cuisine of this shop. Yesterday I tried the pav bhaji from here. The taste was good and it was affordable also. There are so many chats. Their south Indian cuisine is also good. Their filter coffee ☕ is average. So try the vegetarian cuisines from heart ❤️ of calicut...

Surely, this has to be one of the best South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Kozhikode. This isn't my first visit to 'Suprabatham' and won''t certainly be my last considering the quality of food that is served here. Breakfast is usually the busiest time of the day and I would recommed skipping out on the weekend to avoid the crowds. You'll notice that they have a separate counter setup for their 'Filter Coffee' and that should convince you that the coffee here is outstanding. We ordered the usual suspects, 1. Vada [ 1 set ] - ₹38.10 2. Butter Mysore Masala Dosa - ₹119.05 3. Poori Masala Set - ₹76.19 4. Filter Coffee - ₹19.05 I wouldn't call the Vada exceptional but it tasted good. I prefer mine to be a little crispy on the exterior and the best part is it isn't too oily either. This comes with a side of 3 different chutneys and sambhar and is good value for money. The 'Butter Mysore Masala Dosa' takes the crown for being an exceptionally good variant of the masala dosa. It is golden crisp, with the masala packing some heat and slightly different from the standard masala. You will find a tiny dollop of butter on top and I must say you can taste that in the dosa too. The sambhar is really good and really brings out the amazing flavours of the dosa. Make sure to order this when you visit because it packs a lot more flavour than the standard Masala Dosa. The 'Poori Masala Set' might have been a bit too much for me but I really love a good poori. This comes served with coconut chutney and a side of baji and the best way to enjoy this is to combine all of them for a delicious bite. The Baji was a little low on salt but the chutney compensated for the lack of it. There are no words to describe how good their 'Filter Coffee' is. It is sharp, potent and not too overpowering at the same time. It would be hard pressed to settle for just one cup which is why I decided to get 2. Don't miss out on the coffee when you visit 'Suprabatham'.

This restaurant is located near Kozhikode beach. The menu featured a wide range of authentic South Indian dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. I opted for the Mysore masala dosa. The dosa was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sambar and chutney added just the right amount of flavor and spice. In addition to the dosa, I also tried the samosa. Both dishes were delicious and flavorful. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly. But there is always a long wait. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine. The food, atmosphere, and service all exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to visiting again in the future

Had heard about this restaurant from a lot of fellow veg food lovers in Kozhikode, hence tried this out for breakfast. Considering the rarity of a good veg only option in Kozhikode and the beach proximity, the food lived upto its expectations! The ghee roast was super good and puris were just the right crisp with neither a strong nor subdued masala in the bhaji. And best thing was the tea for me! Almost a Bombay cutting chai, but then in a tumbler with the right amount of milk in it. Do try it! Parking a four wheeler maybe tough in rush hours, so maybe consider the beach road and then walk towards the restaurant. A breakfast for two was under Rs.200, hence would not count it as expensive as well. They have definitely room to improve the ambience though considering the popularity it enjoys. Edit: The food remained really good in our last visit as well. The service was prompt and courteous. Great tea again. The chaat can be a bit more crispy along with the ambience. Still a great place for vegetarians to go to!

Suprabatham is located very near to the Bombay hotel and is walkable from the Calicut beach. They are a pure vegetarian restaurant with variety of dishes on offer. Tried the masala dosa which was good but not really worth the cost. There is an AC services area and an outside self service area. Prices are slightly on the higher side and parking is a problem especially if you are in a 4 wheeler.

Visited this on my trip to Kozhikode. As its a pure veg restaurant and nearby the beach we went to have lunch. It's at a walkable distance from Kozhikode beach. The ambience is also good. The food is too good. The service is also quick and staff is polite. We had ordered dahi bhalla chaat, mysore masala dosa, onion uttapam and Chai. The dosa and uttapam were served with 3 different chutneys and sambar. Everything was really amazing especially the dahi bhalla. The chai was also superb. Do visit this restaurant for a pure veg and delicious meal...

I recently. had the pleasure of dining at Suprabhatam Hotel in Kozhikode, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, which set the tone for a memorable meal. First and foremost, the ambiance of Suprabhatam Hotel is inviting and cozy. The restaurant has a modern yet elegant decor, with comfortable seating arrangements and well-lit spaces. The atmosphere is perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings, creating a welcoming environment for diners. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Suprabhatam Hotel offers a wide range of dishes, predominantly focusing on South Indian cuisine. The flavors and presentation of the food were outstanding. Each dish was prepared with utmost care, using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. Whether it was the dosas, idlis, or the mouthwatering biryanis, every bite was bursting with authentic flavors that delighted my taste buds. One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Malabar Parotta with Chicken Curry. The parottas were flaky and layered, perfectly complementing the rich and aromatic chicken curry. The combination of spices used in the curry was exquisite, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. I was truly impressed with the quality and authenticity of the dishes. Apart from the delectable food, the service at Suprabhatam Hotel was impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They were more than willing to assist in making recommendations and accommodating special dietary requests. The waiters were prompt in taking orders and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Lastly, I must mention the reasonable pricing at Suprabhatam Hotel. Considering the high quality of the food and service, the prices were quite reasonable and offered great value for money. I felt that I got more than what I paid for, which is always a pleasant surprise. In conclusion, Suprabhatam Hotel in Kozhikode is a hidden gem for South Indian cuisine. From the warm hospitality to the delectable dishes, every aspect of the dining experience was exceptional. If you find yourself in Kozhikode and have a craving for authentic South Indian flavors, I highly recommend visiting Suprabhatam Hotel. You won't be disappointed!

We went here for dinner on a weekday evening. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant with predominantly South Indian and fatty wide variety of other pan-Indian dishes as well. We ordered the tomato soup, sev puri and Pav bhaaji for appetizers, rava-dosa, ghee mysore masala dosa, mushroom Manchurian dosa, chole bature and Kerala porotta with green peas curry, for mains and coffee and fresh grape juice for desserts. I really liked the Kerala porotta ( it was soft and fluffy) and it was really well accompanied by the green peas curry which was equally flavorful and delicious. The chole bature was really good as well and so were the dosa items. My friends really loved the filter coffee as well which was strong and had that slight hint of sweetness in the background. Overall the food and the ambience were really good.

The food is great here ! In my experience it's the best vegetarian hotel in Calicut ! It's often very crowded and you have to wait a while during weekends and holidays. But I fee they are taking this popularity for granted, because often the service is poor. I often find waiters simply standing at the central counter and when we try to call them they try not to make eye contact with you. I find them staring at the tv even during rush hours. This is truly unacceptable, as the pricing is at the high end and I feel the service is not in accordance with with food they serve. Should improve !!
