Krishnanagar is famous for its sweets. The best sweets are Sarpuria and Sarvaja. This shop is one of the oldest and best one in these sweets. The shop is really old and generations have gathered the knowledge and skills of preparation of these sweets. The pocket pinch might look a lil on the higher side but after getting the true essence of these you will be on the moon for sure.

It’s nice sweet shop , where we got the famous Sorpuriya, shorbhaja, Nikuti, baked rossogolla and chana r cake .

Quality sweet at a very low price 😍 Tried their good old Rosogolla and awesome Sor bhaja, baked rosogollah ❤ Edit: They really need to improve their packaging. These soft rosogollas gets destroyed during journey.

Excellent quality & fresh Sarpurias are available here. It's an age-old sweet shop and the most reputed in Krishnanagar city.

We visited this shop on 12.03.23. Special sorvaja and sarpuriya 700/kg, normal sorvaja and sarpuriya 650/kg. Tastewise it is overhyped.

Very good atmosphere.very good variety of sweet.its historical for sorpuria and sorvaja form mughal era .I love this shop for too much tasty sweet.i oftenly visit to this shop.i would recommend to all of you for visit . please once taste sorpuia ,,you want more..it's so delicious.

Old shop for indian sweet. Overpriced but good quality. Please eat in the shop before buying anything in bulk. If possible carry a hard box Tupper-ware kind of box food grade plastic Experience is best if u eat sweet in the shop. Online payment is not working which is bit strange for me Sweets made of milk. Keeping it in low temperature below 20°c is best option. Has an old traditional very old refrigerator. Quite hard to manage that those old cooling device. Shopkeeper should have online payment. It's very strange that sweet are so expensive yet cash payment only.

This is a sweet shop of Krishnanagar which some may call iconic but I prefer to give it a heritage tag. Their famous preparation is unique Sarpuria which was claimed to have been invented by them. But they also make different other varieties of sweets which unfortunately can not surpass their Sarpuria. Good old fashioned typical Bengali sweet shop in need of an urgent make over.

Adhar Sweets is the oldest sweet shop of Krishnanagar. It is a 110 year old sweet shop with some best quality sweets. Sarbhaja and Sarpuriya are a must try here.

Heavenly tasty Sarpuria and Sarbhaja. But we faced problem with parking our car infront of the shop. Traffic police are there always and they will not allow to park.Better park your car beforehand and walk ,it will hardly take 5 mins . Thank you:)
