Gaur Niwas is really located at a beautiful location in Dhalpur.
The place is really spacious and the place looks really beautiful with good seating options, available in open atmosphere as well as in room.
The food quality is also fine.
Just need to improve with quick food service.
The space is open as well as closed and has overall a good vibe. The food quality is good "mostly", but could be better. Sometimes, it gets a little bad when there's a lot of rush, which can be avoided. A customer can wait that much, in my opinion. Staff is also good.
Please improve food quality a little more.
Favorite place in Kullu town to sit down and share a meal and chai with friends (nice walk from the IMI ashram village of Shastri Nagar downriver a bit from this location in “Kullu” town aka Dhalpur —the restaurant only has outdoor seating (it seems—though Ive never investigated inside!) so go on a pleasant ☀️day and time. Its an old temple building👌architecture with gorgeous shade trees and a great view of the valley and mountains. I get malai kofta and stuffed naan👌and off course masala chai.
Awesome wooden house. Very well maintained. In the city but hidden among trees and birds. Great service and great Punjabi food

Gaur Niwas really gives off that aesthetic vibes, which makes it really an awesome place to hangout. But the food can be improved, except for this it's a nice place to hangout with your family! Exceptional environment!

Old Haveli turned into an average restaurant with service as slow as you wish while enjoying the surrounding. Perfectly located and filled with homely taste platters. It is nice place to spend 2 hour on lunch efforts. The non veg thali is remarkable and prices are well within normal limit. Balcony sittings are good but dust and dirt may spoil the experience.
Located near the famous Dusshehra ground in Kullu, the location is great. Old building built in British era. Constructed with rock & timber. Beautiful architecture & wood work. Upkeep is not so good.
