I hold mixed opinions since I have visited better Toddy Family Restaurants in different parts of Kerala. Toddy was fresh but the food was made outrageously spicy πŸ”₯πŸ₯΅ I have a high tolerance level of spicy food but the pork, beef and fish were so spicy, it just derailed the experience. Service was prompt with good suggestions from the waiter as well. The Crab gravy was delicious with Kappa. Sad part is even the salad was doused in pepper powder πŸ˜„ For first timers...please do visit but with caution and emphasize on 'less spicy'!

My visit to this toddy shop and family restaurant was an interesting experience. As a teetotaler and vegetarian, my options were limited, with 'kappa' being the sole choice available. However, I understand that this establishment's strength lies in its non-vegetarian offerings, which my friends tried. According to them, some dishes were excellent while others were just average. While my dining choices were somewhat restricted, I can see the appeal for those who savour non-vegetarian delights.

Your tongue will love it, but your intestines will ask you why do you put me through hell... Everything in life has a yin and a yang. It's a family friendly toddy shop. Food is out of the world. Just epic. Very spicy 🌢 . So take care. Kappa is really good. The lobster masala is brilliant. Crab masala is mouth wateringly good. Definitely will come back. If you can't handle the spice. Do tell them to tone it down.

The food was really tasty and gave a homely feel. We went with family. The service was great. And the ambience they set is appreciated. Great place to have great food under a nice ambience.

They got plenty options for local spicy dishes that includes seafood and backwater dishes. They taste good compared to the other amazing options you can get in kumarakkom. Their dine in is a little congested. Although their service is great and I'm sure they'll help you with preparing food in your way.

Recently we had lunch from here and all the dishes tasted good. Service could have been better since there is a huge crowd always during lunch time and less staff to take care of the heavy rush. One needs to wait long to even give the order during lunch time. Cleanliness of the place is also average and could have been made better. There aren't many options for vegetarians and I only found meals (for lunch) and Kappa in the menu card.

I had been to Kilikoodu more than a couple of times and has always been my favorite when it comes to visiting a family toddu shop. There are options for both AC and non AC dining and we always prefer the non AC ones. The food here is just yummy yet spicy and totally recommendable. The service staffs are very friendly but the orders might take time to be delivered because of the amount of people showing up on the weekends. Best time to visit is during weekdays so that you get some seats with less wait time. Planning to visit next time we pass through Kumarakom.

Overall a good experience. I went there on Wednesday in the evening at 7 PM, the place was not too rush. Plenty of parking available. Ordered parata and Nank Fry (Rs. 350) (Kayal Nank) it was good and also the Parata was fresh and good. They gave me some duck mappas gravy to taste that tastes good. πŸ˜‹ I packed the rest of the Nank Fry left of my plate but don't do that. Have it hot else it will not be good. Also I ordered one Konch roast parcel. (Rs. 380) They asked me about the spiciness, so I told them that is not a concern please make it how you make it! But please be aware about the spiciness we will not hold that much of spiciness. πŸ₯΅ The curry tasted good, but the spiciness... ho..! Horrible.
