This was suggested by our travel agent in Chennai and it did not disappoint. The food is most definitely very good, inexpensive, and delicious. We sampled mushroom pakoras that were better tasting than any I've had in a long time. The rest of the meal was awesome too.

A good place to enjoy delicious varities of food with your dear ones in a calm environment. Even though it is located in a main area, the place looks peaceful and most of the food varities are more than enough for what we pay.
This restaurant is adjacent to Royas Grand hotel. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at multiple times during our visit to Kumbakonam. It is a vegetarian restaurant with A/C. One of the best vegetarian AC restaurants in Kumbakonam. The portion (serving) sizes are big (especially for rice and gravies). Loved their Veg Jaipuri.
Their Naan was a bit chewy and could have been softer.
