Quaint little place in the Lachen market. Try the Tongba. It's a local wine made from millets. Served in a special bamboo cup and Bamboo straw. Something like beer but served hot and you can keep topping up with hot water free of cost till 3 to 4 times. So super value for money. The place has a retro vibe to it. Other alcoholic drinks are also available and the regular local food options as well. Reasonably priced. Pop in for an evening round of drinks with your friends.

The only known restaurants in Lachen . Small, cute joint with a warm and cozy atmosphere and ambience. Rates are reasonable and they accept card payment. Very friendly staff and prompt service. The only place offer chicken options and Limited Chinese menu option with drinks option.

This is the only one restaurant in Lachen. The taste of food is good. We order fried rice and chicken chilli. For the frird rice if you are not sure whether enough or not, you just order 1 not 1 per 1 person as cooker tell you.

Good service and awesome ambiance. We sang and danced with locals there. And yes, don't forget to try "Changi" - local drink of lachen.
I didn't taste anything here but the vibe seems good. It's a small place but that's quite a presence in the village it belongs to.
Cool place.....the food is awesome. We were in Lachen for 2 days and this place was served us the tastiest of foods in Sikkim.
