After nearly 4 days without good food, I found it! Very surprised authentic Korean dishes here, with kimchi, BBQ (no beef), mixed rice and beer. Among the cold weather in Leh, you should come here for hot food to enjoy with your friends. Btw, the restaurant has very excellent sauces for BBQ ^^
Delicious Korean dishes in the middle of the Himalayas. As a lover of Korean food I had to try. Since then I've come back at least 4 times - twice it was too crowded so I had to wait.
If you have a favourite Korean dish that's not on the menu they might still be able to prepare it for you. I asked for Daenjang Jjigae and they prepared it especially for me. So good! 👍
The Amigo should get high marks for entrepreneurship and risk-taking. It's perhaps the only Korean restaurant in Ladakh. I've been around Leh for two mobths and couldn't spot another so far. Located on the ground floor of a beautiful guesthouse, it has an indoor dining area as well as outdoor seating in a courtyard adjoining the guesthouse's beautiful vegetable and flower garden. The menu has mostly Korean dishes, a cuisine still unfamiliar to most Indian travellers. Since it was breakfast time, I ordered Korean corn silk tea and stuck to safety by ordering a continental breakfast combo. The corn silk tea comes in a metal pot and has a very subtle taste. Too subtle for most Indian palates. The breakfast consisted of toast, fruit salad, porridge and black coffee. The toast, accompanied by butter and jam, was of white bread, something I avoid totally. The porridge was gooey. The best part of the breakfast was the fruit bowl of diced watermelon, bananas, canteloupe and mangoes. The americano that's part of the breakfast was strong and flavourful. I preferred to sip it slowly without any sugar, while enjoying the beauty of the flowers in the lovely garden.
Craving for Korean cuisine literally had a satisfying day at this place. We ordered Rabokki (ramyeon + tteokbokki), corn dogs, barbecue chicken platter, gimbap, kimchi, prawns, dakgalbi…….
Barbecue with friends : 💯 💯
The best place in town! Cozy, great value for money, good food and specially the friendly attentive owner! Highly recommended
One of the best places to have Korean cuisine in Leh. The atmosphere is nice, service is professional and the interiors are cool as well. Food is really good, I recommend Rice bowl and Fried chicken.
Surprisingly authentic Korean food in the heart of Leh. The bibimbap is great on a hot day and comes in both meat and veggie varieties. The jangajji (condiments) are also great.
The courtyard setting is pleasant and there is excellent wifi. And the service is very friendly.
Highly recommended.
Amigo is such a delightful Korean restaurant in the heart of Leh. Food is authentic and portions are large. Service is courteous and quick and this place has a buzz even in off season.
If you are getting bored of Veg food in Leh.
Here is a must go restaurant for having meat with korean taste. So yummy.
The most authentic Korean food you can find in Leh. Trust me, I've been to Korea before. I can tell their gochujang is closer to Korean version because it's not the sweet kind. I was honestly really surprised by how delicious this place is, as someone who is from a place that is surrounded by Korean restaurants, I almost thought I was back home again. I had Dak-galbi and kimbap(this was a bit different but still good) and I almost cried tears of joy. They also serve banchan(side dishes) which is pretty cool :) I really recommend going here! There is also restroom available, pretty clean!
