The Barista on Zangsti Road, is in a prime location in the LBA Complex in the heart of Leh's small tourist district. Managed by Abhishek, a friendly barista, with a great touch in rustling up awesome brews, the café has a wooden floor and warm tones. The glass facade is great for people-watching and a small outdoor area, is great for taking in the sun on cold days. I ordered an affogato, my first ever, and a chocolate muffin. The affogato was delicious and the muffin, oozing with chocolate. The Barista has free wi-fi, so you may want to linger over a coffee, or several coffees for that matter. The bakery display has several delectable desserts, lemon muffin, chocolate truffle cake, chocolate éclair, walnut cake, to name just a few. Lovely stuff, you may find hard to resist.

I celebrated my birthday in Leh. And the cake was unexpectedly the tastiest cake I've ever eaten. I was worried that I wouldn't even find a cake in Leh for my birthday, but Barista really exceeded my expectations. The way the chocolate had frozen and the cake was set, it was perfect. My entire group loved it.
