Had my lunch at mulaqaat today. The hygiene is well maintained here. Ample sitting area. Washrooms are clean.
Also the food is good. Rates are reasonable. If you want to have non veg when you are in Lonavala then do visit here.
Been here for lunch today, Tried Fish tikka it was so yumm and soft, the fish was very fresh and odour free, i have not had such tikka fish before any where in and around Mumbai! A must try if you visit this restaurant. Also had chicken halka noodles however this was the same taste that you get everywhere but the only good thing i liked about it was prepared in minimum oil
Murg mulaaqaat - A medium spicy boneless chicken gravy which was thick and delicious.
Along with boiled eggs which were fried a bit.
The rotis were a bit tough other than that the service and everything was great!
Also ordered the fried rice which was tasty.

This has old school set up and service. If you like non-veg, then this restaurant has to be on your list. The food has a distinct North Indian taste, full of spices, oil and ghee. Also they will make the Nan as per your liking, make sure to request them for customization.
Awesome food and fastest service ever I've witnessed At a restaurant. It is a bit pricey but the quantity does justice.
Only one star less for the ambience.

Dabha in Lonavala with delicious chicken items is the best you can ask for during your weekend trip. Ambience is not a fact, you should consider here. Just order fish and chicken. We ordered chicken tandoori tikka, chicken do pyazza, zeera rice, breads, fresh lime soda. All the items were perfectly cooked and delicious. If you are a chicken lover than this is a best place to have it. Price is also reasonable.

The best family restaurant in lonavala , with friendly staff...late night when hunger strikes and you are confused what .to eat it’s the best place to starve your hunger...so decided to do mulaqat with chicken do pyaza and some hot hot tandoori roti with the zaika of butter in it...unlike others I tasted it was a different creamy gravy with well cooked juicy chicken in it...it tasted yum with a proper flavors of spices in it...the gravy was served very well along with roti without any wastage of time...very glad to taste such food away from home...it was so tempting that have to order some rice to enjoy more its taste...the rice was also good...overall it was a paisa wasool dinner...completely enjoyed the dish

We were looking for some NV restaurant in lonavla and came across this.. they serve very good NV dishes. We tried chicken manchow soup for starter, chicken mulaqaat with butter roties, a rice plate and some desserts like phirni and caramel Pudding. The soup was ok ok to taste.. chicken mulaqaat was so yummieeee with soft chicken pieces and boiled eggs and served 5 bhukads, the butter roti was actually buttery and normal roti was soft. Rice was also good. And the desserts very also yummie.. if you are looking for NV restro in lonavla then u can surely visit this place...

Superbly amazing food. If you are a meat lover then you must try this place. Though the ambience isn't that great and sophisticated but the food is mouth watering thus covers up for the ambience.
Decent place for a good quick breakfast. I had the kheema Pav and topped it with a double half fried egg. Perfect combination for a cold rainy day.
Ended it with Carrot Halwa that was perfectly sweetened.
They also have a variety of Veg South Indian dishes like Idli, Dosa etc
I personally am a fan of their *Mulaqaat Special Chicken Haandi*, one full Haandi is enough for 3 people, the taste is really amazing... Also, their Chicken Biryaani is also good... Just don't go there on Weekends, as there is a lot of rush and therefore the quality (and quantity too) decreases a bit... Rest is perfect... Peace... ✌🏻

The hotel ambience is good, but somewhat i feel the hotel is bit pricy.
For 6 people its cost aroun 2.6 k. Chicken tandoori and Chicken afghani were good. But we barely got chicken changezi down our throats.

We came across this restaurant on the way to our lonavala trip. The ambiance is pretty much normal like a traditional restaurant with huge fish tanks. The good part about this was, they had a separate prayer room where the Muslim customer can offer prayer too. Coming to cuisines, so we ordered their famous chicken mulaqaat which was said equivalent to our traditional murg musallam. After the main course, we had gulab jamun and fruit salad which over all concluded to a good lunch for us.

The meat was tender and the gravy was also good.
Chiken mulaqat was a bit extra smoky, which could be better, but mutton was good.

An Old but Gold joint for delicious mughlai cuisine in lonavala ! The food served here is so fresh and tasty. So tonight for dinner me and my family decided to visit Mulaqaat to have some lazeez dishes.
Here is what we ordered and our experience about it -
Firstly they served fried noodles with schezwan chatni which is known as timepass. It felt like no color was added to schezwan chatni and was very tasty. As we finished the first plate we were served again without asking for it. It was unlimited and we were not charged for it.
1. Veg Manchow Soup - Steaming hot and freshly made with plenty of finely chopped veggies and generous helpings of soy sauce, ginger, garlic, coriander and green chillies. All these flavours made this soup refreshing.
2. Chicken Manchow Soup - A perfect mixture of cooked chicken and egg white loaded with finely chopped veggies and soy sauce, ginger, garlic, coriander and green chillies was very delicious and fulfilling.
3. Butter Garlic Prawns - Prawns were fresh, soft and perfectly cooked and sautéed with vegetables in plenty of butter with adequate amount of seasoning. Amazingly delicious dish. A must try for everyone !
4. Paneer handi - A tasty, thick and creamy gravy with soft and fresh paneer cubes and malai spread over it. Lovely and Flavourful !
5. Butter roti - It was soft with lots of asli butter. We all were on repeat mode to order rotis.
6. Chicken Biryani - Of all the dishes, biryani has always been the one closest to our hearts. I am a hardcore biryani lover. The rice was cooked well with just right amount of condiments and spices. The chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and were covered with lots of masala which was very tasty. The raita served with chicken biryani could have been better.
7. Caramel Custard - It was dancing, moist and simply awsome. We were in love with caramel custard. We ended up ordering 6 of it. A highly recommended dessert.
We even wanted to have firni, which i have tried in my last visit to mulaqaat and was too awsome. But unfortunately it went out of stock. The waiter said the last two cups were take by some other customer just before we could order. This time I MISSED IT !
The quantity they serve is more and the quality is high so it perfectly fits the price range.
The restaurant is well maintained with a huge fish tank to attract kids. They provide free parking. And is open till late nights on weekends.
Overall it was a great experience to visit Mulaqaat. Looking forward for more visits to explore more dishes. A must visit restaurant for vegetarians and non-vegetarians in lonavala !

Mulaaqat Special Platter Gravy, is also very popular.
The show stoppers are definitely the desserts. Gajar Halwa and Malai Firni.. A must visit for nonvegan and sweet tooth people.

Its hard to find medium budget restaurants in lonavala this is one of them its a good place on mumbai-pune road. A bit costly but quantity is good . I liked Chicken pahadi the most from this restaurant.

Nice place when you are passing through lonavla. Had kheema pav and egg bhurji for breakfast. The taste was excellent .quantity is really very good. That's another plus point. Good place, go there once atleast whenever I am at Lonavala. Sometimes, service is slow when the restaurant is crowded. Taste is good, go for Mughali dishes and tandoori, you will not be disappointed.

Whenever my mood is off . There's only one things which can cheer me up that is mulaqaat restaurant. We travel from mumbai to lonavlaa just to visit mulaaqat. Respect for this place.
Went with my friends. Had some good starters and briyani. Good taste. Since its in Lonavala it's costlier a bit. But it's worth over a weekend because of the food and location.

We visited this restaurant on March 29, 2016. It was around 8.30 in the evening, and only one other table was taken.
The ambience is not particularly upscale, but the food certainly makes up for it. Just like you shouldn't expect a spicy & in-your-face flavour in a 5 star hotel, you shouldn't expect bland and subtle in a place like this. Everything we ordered from start to finish was cooked and flavored well.
While they might have been a little clumsy with the hospitality, they did serve us well (even the parking attendant was quite courteous).
Finally, they don't accept cards, cash only.

We were at this place last week during our visit to Lonavala.. Its a small hotel, but the food was yummm.. The owner suggested plain kulchas and mutton curry, the Kulchas were so nice soft and light (unforgettable). The mutton was fresh and cooked well.
Nonveg foods are awesome. Really like it. Must try reshmi kebab and Mutton Handi. Restaurant is on the side of the main road so you don't need to waste time to find it. Ambient is not that great but the services are fine.
Among the Veg restaurants, McDs, Gujrati Thalis and tons of Chikki, I find this place good for non-veg food. Took some time to enter and eat here than crowdy and messy food malls.

Located on the main road on first look the place looks small, but has a pretty sizeable hall inside with a seating capacity of 25+. The menu has both veg and non veg options and they are known for good mutton preparation. I tried their Bhuna mutton and it was delicious without being spicy. Service and ambience is nothing much to write about though it is clean and hygienic.
Desi place with super awesome food. We had the following:
1) Starters: Tandoori Prawns, Cheese chicken Kebab (must have) and french fries (shockingly good)
2) Main course: Chicken Mulaqat and chicken tikka biryani
3) Dessert: Gajar ka halwa (must have) and Firni
Perfect place in Lonavala to have non-vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will certainly recommend the Mutton Keema Fry and Chicken Cheese Omlette. Please do visit, if in Lonavala. They have parking space as well. Washrooms are also very clean and well maintained.

Had a wonderful experience at Mulaqat restaurant. Everything is good. We had mulaqats chicken and chicken lollypops. Best part is desserts, gajar ka halwa and caramel pudding. Seating is bit congested. Mr Atul 's service is wonderful.. I suggest all who loves some delicious non veg pls visit Mulaqat
This among the best restaurants in Lonavala. Food is great with sumptuous quantity. Typically a dish could be savored by at least two people. Service is bit slow and lacks proactiveness. There's space for parking 7-8 cars. It gets very busy during the weekends and during those times, one or two of our orders could be missed.
