Pure Vegetarian. Small Restaurant but food is good. Had breakfast here. Not fully Punjabi Stle but tasty. Very friendly staff..
Stopped by for lunch on our way to the Taj Chia Kutir hotel. Food was decent quality Nepalese food. Ordered chicken momos, veg thukpa and mutton thali for food. Overall food was decent quality and decent prices.
Also ordered soda lime water and it was great, not too sweet.
Nice place. Good atmosphere, decent. Beautiful surroundings. Had makaibari tea here.
On the way to Siliguri from Darjeeling very good location area called Pankhabari. Tashi Taki Restaurent. Here tried chicken momo. Good but no body provide soup with momo. Toilet available all indian style. Tea coffee available. Veg nonveg thali available.
You will get variety of foods here on your way.
The staffs are very good. The food taste just awesome.

Food was good..

Washroom is outside and it was clean too.

Stopped over tea in the morning around 7 AM on our way from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport. This place is somewhere close to Kurseong town.
Located at a beautiful U Turn amidst green forests.and curvy roads with well maintained pots and gardens.
The restrooms are neat and there is ample parking in front of the restaurant.
The restaurant is clean and well maintained with basic furniture.
Monkeys are a nuisance so take care of your belongings and keep them close to you.
At ground level so young and old can access this place easily.
A lot of snacks, bakery products and cool drinks are available here.
Managed byba couple who are helpful.
Stopover for a break.and enjoy the chai and the surroundings.
13.11.21 (Saturday) we left Darjeeling to catch our train at NJP station..
So We We took the Matigara route, around 12 o’clock We stopped at “TASHI TAKI RESTAURANT”, Pankhabari and had lunch there, My dad had fish thali (150 rs) after 6 days..and we took chicken thali (150 rs)..food was simple and good..
Water, snacks, cold drinks are available . And I bought Local Cookies from this place.
Enough Space For Parking. And the toilets are also very clean ..There are Cute cats and dog inside the Restaurant.
A good place for refreshments on the Siliguri- Darjeeling (Pankhabari) route. Various items from momo to noodles available. A must visit for animal lovers to pet the various dogs, cats and guinea pigs here... 😸
We had some chicken momos and coffee. Both were good. They also have a good stock of different types of snacks.
This is a good option for your breakfast on the way to Darjeeling, if you are going via Pankha Bari. Food quality is very good. Service was also prompt. Behavior is good.
Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

Yes, we all need a break during a long drive. It is needed more than ever when the trip is on a hilly road. So if you feel that your body and mind is aching due to such a stressful journey and you desperately need to sooth down and luckily you are in the route to Darjeeling, then this is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.
Good food is there, also you can find many uncommon fun things like various candies. They also keep nice collection of Teas.
The ambience is amazing, the whole area hosts some very famous and beautiful Tea Estates. I was there during the onset of monsoon, so the lush green flora was mesmerising. This restaurant also houses a few Guinea Pigs and a very nice doggy. They are very nice attaraction to kids.

It is one of the popular restaurants amongst tourists, located on Darjeeling - Bagdogra Route. They have ample seating arrangement. They serve variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner,etc. They also have clean toilets. It is an excellent choice for a quick pitstop. Overall I'll recommend visit to this place based on our past experience.
