Open air has become better from the past. The food quality has boosted tremendously. Their chicken masala is giving a tough competition to its rival. The food is fresh and its quality is commendable.
However, parking facility is a major problem here.
Apart from that, it is Recommended!
Non veg treat@Open Air Restaurant near Tulsi -Lucknow. The signature shami kababs and masala chicken with ulta tawa paratha. And to top it well prepared Afghani Chicken!!
Open Air Restaurant in Lucknow is a great place to go if you're looking for authentic Mughlai cuisine. They're especially well-known for their kebabs, chicken, and biryani.
I recently went with some friends and we ordered the gilawati kebab, mughlai parantha, dry Kali mirch chicken, and mutton biryani. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely amazing! I highly recommend these dishes if you visit.
That said, the restaurant can get quite crowded and you might have to wait a while to get a table. There's also no prior reservation system, so keep that in mind. Parking can be a bit of a challenge too - you'll have to park at your own risk. However, I've been going to this place for over 15 years now and have always managed to find a space for parking.
Overall, Open Air Restaurant is a must-visit eatery in Lucknow, especially if you're a fan of Mughlai cuisine. The food is top-notch and definitely worth trying. Just be prepared to deal with the crowds and parking challenges. Despite these minor inconveniences, I'd definitely recommend giving Open Air Restaurant a try!
We got here around 7pm and quickly sat down and ordered galawati kebab, roomali roti and malai chicken tikka. The malai tikka was amazing, must try! The galwati kebab was very average, tasted like gram flour more than anything, but for this price range and place, it was good!
Absolutely perfect palace for foody , must try rosted non veg item . You will love this, I use to eat whenever here . Also there are many good options for tandoori items. Pure non-vegetarian resturant, đź‘Ť
Too crowded and you have to go and physical stand behind tables to catch your place or reserve your seat, food was decent not very great, you should try the afghani tikka, there are several restaurants there, Dastarkhwan is too crowded, you can try other resturant in the vicinity
This place serves brilliant food.. we order for Botti Masala, Liver masala and parathas
Food is cooked fresh and taste is so flavourful, it is somewhat difficult to find any seating here.. you might need to que and the wait could be long. However the wait is worth.. ensure thou give all the orders together as it takes time… portion size is quite generous.
Well, rarely you get seats here.
Little chaotic place.
Must try:
Mutton Handi
chicken tawa Masala.
Please note chicken masala will not be a typical Indian spicy taste, so order accordingly .
For kebabs,
Refer places around but not at open air.
Quite affordable .
Entire meal can be enjoyed by 2 people in 600
Well named is the Open Air restaurant, close to a metro station so easily accessible from most of Lucknow. Good food, nicely cooked and well priced. The tandoori chicken was probably more bone than meat but was still good. Mutton biriyani nicely spiced and as they go was good. Come with friends for the atmosphere.
We went to their main outlet.
As the name suggests, it’s out on the road. So don’t expect any fancy ambiance.
Their chicken masala and mutton was delicious! Definitely a must try
You can give a miss to Biryani though!
This Restaurant is famous for its mughlai cuisine. It located at Near to Tulsi Cinemas (which is now closed). Being a Vegetarian i went with my friend, he tried here Chicken Kalimirch & he said it tastes awesome. So it made me curious to review this place. Must visit here recommended restaurant. Crowded place obviously due to their food. I bet you that when you will visit this place you won’t feel regretted.
Excellent food quality, a real heaven for non veg lover at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
One of the best place to have chicken roasted, chicken masala nd kababs..these are recommended from my side at all times.
Service is quick..
Car service is also available .
Packing available..
Overall good keep it up..
One of the best places for non veg food. The food is just awesome. A bit crowded as place is not very big, but generally you can get a place in 5 - 10 mins. Service is very quick. You can visit alone or with family and friends.
Among one of the best in Non veg food joints in Lucknow. This used to be a “Open air” restaurant and I guess that’s why they named it so. Today they boast of a roof on top and seatings on both side of the lane.
Didn’t have much time so could try only their galauti kabab and Kakori kabab. The Kakori kabab was good enough to kill for and their galauti kabab could stand on its own merit in a city famous for their galautis.
A joint which is not on any legendary list but should definitely feature on your must visit list in Lucknow
A great option if looking for a fast eating experience, the food here is very good, but not for fine dining or culinary experience enthusiasts.
This is a simple mass market place, very busy, the waiting time for a table can be long during peak hours as sitting space is very limited.
But you will not go wrong with the food. Place is buzzing with good vibes and high energy.
For non-veg Lucknow is hell of a place and you will not get tired of eating. Variety of non-veg item that you can only find it in Lucknow. Open air restaurant is one of a place. It is a 10-15 min walk from Hazratganj market. The food here is fabulous and tasty. Boti kebab, galoti kebab, chicken Afgani and many more to choose. And the item is also pocket friendly. But it is hard to get a sitting place quite often as the place is bustling with food lovers all the time.
Good kababs and parathas. Biryani was average so go to Dastarkhwan for that. Fish tikka was over cooked. Stick with kababs if you do visit here.
