I had gone with my friends for a dinner, the interior was quite well with the lights. We'd biryani a chicken and egg one there and both of them were really tasty, it's a place for a really good food. But the service wasn't matching with the food quality as we had ordered a coffee it had taken a more then 20 min to serve and no one were answerable for its delay, this is the only thing we had suffered although the food and other stuffs were great...
This is my go to restaurants when I have to eat Chinese food. The seating arrangement is good and the crowd is decent but the orders take a lifetime to reach your table. If you are super hungry, the service is going to make you angry.
I wanted to take away all it's. For the service it offers, but the food wants me to give it back.
This is one of the very few restaurants where I tried new things I and I was not disappointed if you are a non-veg lover you should visit this place.
A nice eating place with good look and feel. it has a good variety to choose from. the food is tasty. the only thing is that it is slightly higher on the price as compared to the other eating places with same services.
Initially reluctant to serve two western ladies, but once we showed our enthusiasm for Indian food, the service was excellent, courteous and the food excellent. Ate far too much!

Our group on holiday, dropped in to this place for a quick lunch before we set off on sightseeing. At lunch time, the place seemed to be overrun by groups of senior ladies having a good time out. At least three noisy kitty parties were in progress.
The restaurant offers many options, but not the signature dishes Lucknow is famous for. With the help of friendly head waiter, our selection from North Indian offerings consisted of Chicken Tangri Kabab, chicken in gravy, Paneer Butter Masala, Gobi & Dalfry accompanied by Tandoori Roti.
Chicken tangri kababs were soft and juicy. chicken in gravy was also tender, but the gravy was in excess. Paneer butter masala, consisted of soft paneer cubes in an orange gravy, and quite delicious, but again we found a profusion of gravy. Also, we appreciated that the tandoori rotis were made of atta, instead of mixture of atta & maida used in many places.
Service was prompt and friendly and the place was clean, with neat decor and seating.
Overall, the palace is a safe bet for a regular meal, nothing outstanding though.

I had visited this restaurant so many times. In the early beginning when it was opened they used to serve very delicious food but of late they detriorate the taste and quality. However in my recent visit I found that they again improve themselves. I love hot n sour soup of this restaurant. Rest starters are also good. In main course, i had ordered north indian food it was just fine. Coming to ambiance and location, I would say ambiance is decent one and location is superb it is in everyone's reach. Prices are ok seeing the location and food. Service is good but little slow. Ome more thing is that at night, during 8 to 10 u will face lot of rush there, there is always waiting line at dinner time. I would recommend to go and dine out there.
The ambience was good but service wasn't. One has to keep looking for the waiter as none turns up on its own. The food presentation is good but the taste is very much OK type.

Went for family dining yesterday and ordered
Honey chilli potato ,cheese pizza ,mix veg noodle ,dry paneer Manchurian for starters which was completely delicious buy the main course was not at all satisfying the butter chapatis was too hard to be tear apart and the butter paneer was way too sweet than regular which completely spoiled my taste bud although the biryani and mix vegetable was good so all an all it was an average experience

Salt has become one of the popular dine out places in Lucknow over the couple of years. Besides it's multi cuisine menu, the restaurant has gained popularity on account of its strategic location, attractive interiors and staff's hospitality. The pricing however does not seem to do justice to the food.
Yes! The place is worth eating. The starters are a good kick-start to quench the appetite and every snack is finger licking. I mostly prefer this place for good dining and value of money. Only the reason is that they have to focus more upon the main course and the equal balance of spices. What u mostly love here is honey chilli potato, chicken appetizers and etc.. Awesome. Salt serves very good food at reasonably affordable prices. I have been to this place a number of times. The Chinese is good. Moreover, the starter platter is an amazing dish that serves different starters so u don't have to order different snacks.
All in all, its a good place.

This is the place you look for when you're just extremely hungry and you want hog in a lot of food at a reasonable price. The quantity of food ordered by them is good, but the service is a bit slow. The ambience is fine but the seating arrangement is not good. The walls are cracked and it is clearlt visible, the table had some dust on it when visited it. Finally talking about the food, we ordered Honey chilly potato and Dragon paneer for starters, again the quantity and the taste of the food, both were amazing. The honey chilly was crispy and had the apt amount of tanginess and sweetness in it. The dragon paneer was delicious with soft and tender paneer. Then for the main course we ordered a paneer do pyaaza, garlic nan and missi roti. The quantity qas fine but the garlic nan was extremely heavy. We were not able to finsih up the whole food which we had ordered. I liked the food there, hoping to visit anytime soon again.
This is an ideal place to hv lunch or dinner with ur family.

Salt restaurant was one of my favorite and i have visited the restaurant 4 to 5 times and must say that they are maintaining the quality of food and service and the food is appropriately price and worth the money. Portion size is huge for everything.

Located on a main road, Salt is a good restaurant for fine dining. We visited this restaurant for a team lunch. Down to my analysis:
Food- We order almost all the starters that were there on the menu and I tasted them all!! To my surprise, most of the starters were toothsome and delicious. The non-veg. starters were better than the veg. ones. Chicken lollipop and Dragon Chicken are must tries. The chicken was ambrosial. Honey chilly potato and cheese and corn balls were delicious as well. Paneer Tikka and Hara-bhara kebab were mainstream. In the main-course, chicken lababdaar was delightful. However, the chef's special, Murg Lazeez wasn't that good. Other food items were also palatable.

Salt is a lil restaurant tucked in the by lanes of hazratganj in Lucknow, and is directly opposite to the hotel we were putting up in, India Awadh!
We walked late evening for a quick dinner, and we were happily surprised with the delicious food.
We ordered aaloo dum benrasi, potatoes stuffed with paneer, and dry fruits, made in a sumptuous dum gravy, with yellow daal, zeera rice and naan.
The portions are huge, three people can happily feed on the food we ordered, and taste is that of a perfect Indian meal, i would not expect anything less from lucknow, the city of delicious food itself.
The ambience is nice, the place is fairly crowded, but dont expect much from the service here.
Ps: they don't accept cards, they have a machine but it's useless:P

When u go to this place at night,its tough to find a table,but the location of this place is good. The crowdy place in itself shows the success of this restaurant,it provides delicious indian meals and other cuisines as well. Food quality and service is excellent with reasonable rates . Interior quality is very good and gives touch of luxury.Overall it is a lovely place to dine with family and gives a essence of true family restaurant.

Hello Salters, where were you all my life? If SALT opened during my school days, I'd been probably found here sitting all day, bunking my classes. The food is so so yummy and makes you want more. I have been to this place for several times. Their pizza is just outstanding. Service is prompt. Easy to locate, much of parking available. Not that expensive. Donot try the mango drink in their menu it's really bland in taste.

I was totally floored! The service was sharp, the ambience was pleasant and most importantly the food was orgasmic without any over-the-top price tag. I happen to go twice the same day, so i can say for sure that it was not by chance! The Quantity was pretty generous as well. I don't think i will be going to any other restaurants in Lucknow for a long long time to come!
The fooding and interiours are great. Good service good food and the chicken dishes over here are just amazing. The daal fry is a must to be ordered and the ambiance is prety decent.

This place is like a home to me. I have been to this place infinite times and it never dissapointed me. It always seems to me like a new place. Their cost, hospitality, serving speed, ambience, taste all are above awesome. If you want a decent & quiet place then this is it. Whether you want to spend family time, personal time or fun with friends this place is best for all. Spacious. Can accomodate 10-12 number of people at one table. Undoubtedly worth a visit.
One of the best multi-cuisine restaurants in the city.. food here is very very good. U'll see crowd here and might have to wait for about half-an-hour because of this.. service is slow but thats because of crowd.. good place for a decent meal..

I visited the Hazratganj branch first time and as expected was not disappointed at all with the food quality. The place was crowded with waiting queue. This made the service a bit clumsy. Overall a decent experience and a very good family restaurant.

Salt... is indeed a place to visit. Nice ambiance, the food was rightly priced and it was tasty as well. being a Vegan, tried only the veg stuff and that tasted good.hopefully Non-veg also seems to be good. The dishes were usually same as you would find in most of high classed restaurants but some dishes were different. I tried Mix Veg grilled ... though its a sabzi but we enjoyed it as a salad..
overall.. Salt is worth a try for your taste buds.

But the taste of the delicacies lack consistency!! Its like you repeat your order and it won't be as good.
Still way better than many other fine dines in Lucknow. So yes I'd recommend it if you dont want to spend much for an above average dinner.

I have been a regular visitor at Salt, Aliganj. its a little different than that at the Hazratganj one. The ambience, the staff and the taste of the delicacies are decent enough. I would say; they need to improvise a little to match up with the Aliganj one. All in all, another decent dining option in Lucknow.

The quantity serves is pretty good, the service seemed fine, but they messed up my Paneer dish. Twice.
Also, I'm not a fan of Baked Vegetables, but theirs was good.
Been here with my family and found it to be a very great place. I went in with the impression that the quantity served in very less but found out that its totally wrong. Located in heart of Lucknow, Hazratganj, the restaurant has a prime location. The ambience is great, the food served here is both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The taste is just awesome. I loved everything that I had ordered. The facility has a parking space in front. It's located close to the Saharaganj mall, so you can come here after shopping in the mall. The restaurant is open all days. Just a heads up, the restaurant is a bit expensive.
