Really liked the controlled spiciness in their Chhole. You can actually taste the chickpeas and not just spices. Had ordered Paneer Bhatura and Paneer Kulcha and the stuffing was ample, not just for the sake of the name. I could feel the fluffiness. Halwa was not that great, TBH as it was made in refined vegetable oil. Also, they need to maintain a degree of cleanliness as a lot of people visit them everyday.

One of the famous shops in Hazratganj area. Food is good and pricing is also fine. In my opinion the sitting and eating area is just ok. Overall it was good visit.

The most famous sadar ji ke chole bhature is best for the bhature lovers , khulchas are more popular here actually. If you come here then must try their halwa. Bliss in every bite. Chole was average in taste. The space for dining is not much enough for the bhature freaks. This restaurant is budget friendly in 50 rupees you can try their iconic meal.

The food here is amazing. I have tried chole bhatoore, kulche chole and aaloo paratha. All of it was amazing. Service is quick and convenient. The only problem is that the place is littoe suffocating sometimes due to kitchen being inside itself.

You must try sardarji ke chole if you are visiting lucknow. Food taste is really good Don't expect a good ambience. It's like street food.

This is one of those iconic, heritage places to dine at in Lucknow. This shop dates back to decades. Their food quality (mainly chola) has remained the same, and that in itself is a big deal. However, yesterday's experience with chola kulcha wasn't as nice. While the chola was good, the kulcha seemed quite undercooked. The corners were fat and unappetizing. The bhaturas were nice, however, they also could have been cooked a little longer. It seems that when they're crowded, they don't focus much on these things. Second, so we sat in the upper section of the shop. Now, while I understand you need a waiter there to ensure good service, the guy was sitting literally next to me (no more than 2 feet away) which was honestly displeasing, and I would have preferred if there was a bell upstairs which could be rung to call the waiter, instead of the waiter sitting next to me. But oof, their prices even after the hike are quite reasonable and hence this gets a 4 star.

This place offers one of the most delicious Aaloo Kulche in Lucknow. I often recommend this place my friends from different cities when they are visiting Lucknow. I also look for chances to go to this place for a quick bite.

Enjoyed yummy kadi rice, kulcha and halwa at this little place near novelty cinema. Mathha and Suji Halwa were average.. But kulcha n kadi rice are yummilicius. There are three sardar ji outlets there. Tried this one and it was just worth it. Total bill 170 something.little low on hygiene but taste is awesome

But dal makhani was average in taste but i was really disappointed 😢 with lachha paratha though it was good in taste but it was prepared in maida instead of whole wheat atta…..but the show stopper was suji halwa Halwa was literally 🔥 best in taste ….. yummy and will definitely order it next time

Amazing Chole Kulche and other items. There is a conflict between who is the original sardarji but it doesn't matter where you eat because both shops serve amazing food. Light and tasty kulche.

It's a buzzing place and you might have to wait for a table or share one. A very limited menu but authentic taste. Had Chole bhature and Chole kulche both here along with mattha. Don't forget to taste their suji ka halwa as dessert, its mouth melting with lots of nuts. The parking might be little difficult here so prefer to park at a distance and walk down to enjoy this delightful outlet when in lucknow. I enjoyed my lunch here and a budget friendly place to eat with unlimited supply of chole and accompaniments. Go indulge in the delicacy.

We went there for breakfast and it was extremely satisfying. The food here is delicious. We tried Kulcha,Bhatura and Paratha (for kids) with their lip smacking chhole. Halwa was irresistible and so was mattha( butter milk/Chhas). Please beware of shops which try to sell the in the name of this outlet with some altercation. Only this outlet has customers other mostly wear deserted look and try to lure customers. And yes it is extremely pocket friendly, we paid just 165 for all these items including a water bottle.
