I have visited this place some time ago for lunch and my experience was amazing nice ambience quality service and mouthwatering dishes.I ordered Madhurima Special Pizza & cappuccino both are good.Overall nice place.

A very good restaurant for veg lover. A good ambience and very polite staff. Do try any paneer dish over there and enjoy the taste. A little problem with parking of cars as there is not much space.
It is very old restaurant located in aminabad.
Mostly it is crowded. Ordered noodles, aloo chaat and poori thali which is famous. Quantity was enough according to price. Chaat was very tasty.

A sweet shop offering a good variety of snacks and food. I chose to order their special thali as I was quite hungry. Service was unattended but fine. Quality and taste was just like home.
This is a known place of every lucknowite. And this place is known for it's amazing sweets and snacks. So I tried the Aaloo tikki from this place. And it was really very amazing . The taste was good also the tikki was very light to eat. The prices for a plate of tikki is Rs. 60 and according to me the prices are apt. Would love to go their again for their lovely snacks.
superb food, puri thali is the best i have taated so far. And kulfi is a must try, i can guarantee that u havent tested a better kulfi than this... very friendly staffs, good ambience. they do have a sweet shop in it, try kaju pista roll, but rasamalai is less sweet else everything is great... will visit everytime m at lucknow...

Madhurima Sweets also known as "kabar wali dukkan" as it is situated next to a grave. But nothing to be scared about. It is a very old and authentic sweet shop in Lucknow. With passing time their ambience and service has degraded drastically but the quality and the taste is what is restored. Their classic Madhurima special Thali is makes me visit their again and again along with their variety and quality of ghewar! Malai ghewar and garam imarti is to definitely die for.

Good quality इमरती and पूरी सब्जी and very tasty. Reaching there is easy, it is best to go on rikshaw or 2 wheeler as area is pretty crowdy.
I have been visiting the place since my childhood. Everything they serve is tasty and also fresh. Today we stopped by the place and had imarti and rabdi. Both were tasty. Imarti was crispy and both imarti and rabdi had appropriate amount of sugar. Perfect place.

The biggest task was searching for it on the web and Zomato, to see whether it still exists or not. Going by what I remember, it was called "kabr ke paas wali purani dukaan" which wasnt the original name of the place. I even did a small survey on the Lucknow Foodies FB page but I couldnt get the exact place. Technology helped us in zooming in to the next door shop which is called Netram but we still didnt get Madhurima unless we got to the real physical location.
The last that I remember being at this place was some 20yrs back (or more) and the taste of their pooris (kachauris) was still lingering in my mouth. Coming to this place has been on my agenda for the last so many years but being so caught up in the kabab and nihari affairs while I am in Lucknow, visiting this shop always use to get pushed down. We finally decided a revisit with my mom, bro and his better half.
When we arrived, I was fairly surprised to the see the place well renovated and the infrastructure much more than what I remembered and expected. They now have a eat-in basement with central air-conditioning and serving everything veg that you can think of. They even had bottled water and soft drinks which you might not find at any other poori place in Lucknow. As soon as we got there, we didn't let the elaborate menu confuse us with choices and we straight away ordered what we came for - the core offering "Poori Thali".
The wait seemed to be endless till we got all four plates at once with four pooris each. On the side, there was sookhi aalu ki sabzi, one aalu ki sabzi with gravy, a brinjal sabzi (which for some reason was called "hari sabzi"), raita and an amazing imli ki chatni. The ladies seemed to the taken aback with the quantity but none complained.
Now, what you remember from the heydays is always a sunshine brighter than the reality. Pooris were good but somehow that taste which we remembered couldnt be matched here. What was lacking was the crispiness of those popped white dough and the lack of zing in the heeng flavoured filling. The seasoning in the pooris was a bit on the lower side for my taste though I don't like strong flavours. Hopping to the subzis, the sukhi aalu ki sabzi was bang on. You cant get this sabzi anywhere other than Lucknow. The other sabzi with the gravy wasnt up to the mark and neither was the brinjal one. Imli ki chatni was amazing and it went along well with the overall thali and the raita was nothing to write about.
Having come so far and after so many years, I had to eat more so I got 2 over and above. In the end, everybody had mixed reactions and nobody was either too excited or complaining. My mom liked it more than me, we got out smiling and I was pretty happy that I revisited my memories.
Ghevar available during aug-sep is the best in world... Also try kachori sabzi as breakfast...

This is like water in the desert. After being exhausted from the shopping it's so comfortable to sit and eat here. The food is tasty and economic. Also, they have upgraded the place.

It is famous for poori and sabzi. The food is tasty and is priced very reasonably. It has been a preferred brunch destination for years. Parking is a problem over here because its always crowded and the location is congested. The sweets including ras malai etc are also very delicious here.
