Nice ambience, great service , friendly staff , easily accessible, good prices. Especially liked the sheesha and the honey chilli chicken. Went there with four of my friends, ate nicely and the bill was only for 840. So easy on the pocket as well

Out standing place to hang out..just cutting .5 for the service and the rest is deducted for the hygiene the washrooms which i experienced was just pathetic. They have to improve their services..food is just awesome.. price tags of each stuffs makes it different from all others..rest all is good

i have always had a bad experience with the chicken lollipop at most of the places but the one served at this restaurant is so good! i came with my friends from college, we ended up giving the waiter a hundred rupee tip! it was so good. very impressed!

This place is very good for birthday party. Food is awesome but the interior of the place is not upto the mark so it should be worked upon . It's been about two years since I moved out of Lucknow and everytime that I come back, I see some major changes. The Red Door is just another addition to that list. This was one of my favourite hangout places when I was living in Lucknow, so visiting this place every time I am in the city is a ritual, more or less. I felt the need to write this review just this time because the place has undergone such a makeover, it's almost as if new. The ambience is more lively and vibrant which takes away the only negative this place ever had. The service is superb, as always, and the food is only more delicious (if that's even possible). What's more, they're now serving hukkah which is probably the best I've had in the city. This place is perfect for hanging out with friends as well as for a family dinner. It isn't easy to strike that perfect balance, so kudos to the team for that!

hey asslam u alaikum.....that was really great experience to Visit RED Door (BAAB AHMAR) Well furnished , nice Dinning , very tidy, special Remarks on Cleanliness and Calm place, besides that i loved, what ever i had and in every meal like , i felt some different taste fabulously mind blowing , because every time we visited to the restaurants most of the time we found some same taste and hospitality, but Red Door, (Don't let us Bore 😉) i left the place happily, and as a food lover i will give full marks, i always experiment with restaurants, what i observe in your place, that was rarely we found in restaurants, now come to meals Chilli Chicken my FAV. after very long time i had this kind of taste in well tendered and juicy chicken cubes, Noodles was awesome that was my first experience and i was 100 % satisfied. So, Great Going keep it up n dont let our expectations down, i must make every friend of mine to visit you at least one. great going keep it Up.

Its a small place with soothing ambience, food tastes just awesome. Not very fond of ordering indian veg when we dineout but for a change we tried it here and d result was fabulous.....had d best dal tadka and paneer tikka masala even they did justice with d soups and starters.

This place is not in main hazratganj sumwere around dainik jagran chauraha ,near JJ bakers.. so the place is not really crowded :) I found it to be quite gud n calm but nothng xtra ordinary about this☺
When u enter there are flight of stairs that take u down.. The staircase n the walls are decorated beautifully😍 now coming to the restro both seatng n ambience is nice :) i lyked the walls😄 the staff is also courteous and the owner is really sweet n pretty 😘

Nice small place but food is great. Tried there tandoor items paneer ticka, also bharwa and Chinese spring roll all the items were in good quantity with excellent quality. The paneer butter masala and mushroom matar we tried was a bit spicey but good. I have tried these through take away in parts on various days but quality factor is constant. Will soon sit in a restaurant and enjoy.
As soon as we enter the place the door decoration attracts all attention. The colorful theme at the very first step of the restaurant gives a pleasant feel. And all the decoration on the walls with plates and photos is also nice.

Garlic bread and khathi roll (along with the chutney) was super awesome👌 veg. Noodles were average nothing special. The quantity was also good.
As we visited the restaurant late(10pm) hence we got the best hospitality and service.
Overall a nice experience.
P.S- They have not updated their new price on zomato therefore I am uploading the new menu to update all people there who are looking forward to visit the place.
Nice place. Ambience n good food. They are a little late on the service. However the taste compensates for the time. We ordered galawati chicken kebab, chicken Frankie roll, panner karni roll, chicken kakori roll n lemonade. The decor is a bit cliched.

A pretty eyecatching and flashy red board on gokhale marg grabs your attention , the place is decent , its 2 years old , the walls testify that. I tried pasta (chefs choice as per the menu)
The place was a small restro with 6-7 tables a lil creativity on the walls , we were offered water immediately and handed up the menu .
So the waitwr told me that the order would take 10 mins and it took exactly 11 minutes ( thats a compliment ) , the service is impeccable , they are really hospitable.
Coming to the food , the presentation was fine , the pasta tastes okay , better than lucknow diaries (the one a few blocks away) , richer than that too . However the pasta had fresh crispy juicy veggies in it , so fresh and juicy that they couldnt let you enjoy the pasta and the cream flavor . included carrots too , ive never had such a pasta before , had there been no such veggies like carrot etc , (just mushroom and bell) , the pasta would have been great .
I wouldnt exactly say valur for money because you can get pasta at coffee culture at the same price , with much better texture and taste . my brother had noodles and according to him noodles were nice .
Went there during day time we ordered food from the Chinese section every dish was chef's special and veg though I am a non veg lover but I didn't regret veg it was so awesome that I would recommend everyone to go there . We also ordered shakes that were also quite awesome. Service was quick . I would surely go there again.

Ok, so as you step down to get inside the restaurant which is in the basement these is an elegantly decorated staircase which left me in awe! And as you pull the Red Door, you'll come across a classically put up restaurant with basic seat arrangements. But the wall decor, zillions of paintings and painted plates and wall-hangings just added to the good vibe the place already gave us.
Chinese is recommended. My non-vegetarian friends will recommend the dry chilly chicken they ordered. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Lovely experience!

We went there after being disappointed with the starters and service at Salt, Hajratganj. We ordered Fish Lemon Coriander, Chicken Kali Mirch, Malai Kofta and Mix Vegetables along with Naan, Roti and Lachchha Parathas.
The Food was exceptional. There was nothing,absolutely nothing wrong with it. The Chicken Kali Mirch is a refined version of the traditional version found in Mohali or Patiyala. But it tastes good. The portions are really good.
The cold coffee could have been better.
But overall, it is an amazing place with exceptional food, service and ambience. The staff is very helpful and attentive.

We visited the Red Door in the afternoon. As it was a treat we wanted to try some paneer dish with naan (typical treat dishes 😜) . While ordering, the waiter told that the naan wud not be available before 5 pm. We thought to cancel the order but the lady at the cashier suggest that they can bring naan from outside at the same rate. Well that was courteous! We ordered paneer tikka masala,dal fry,and naan.
Yeah the service was a bit lazy cos there was only one waiter working at that time. The interior of the restaurant is amazing..the place is small but gives a nice feeling..with the songs playing u won't feel bored. Paneer tikka masala was damn delicious.. Quantity and quality...both are awesome.. N its budget friendly too. We ordered cold coffee too.. Well that was OK.. But the panner tikka masala made this restaurant my favourite one. 👌

Excellent prawns in Lucknow is something of a rarity. This place came in as a refreshing surprise ! It's definitely on my top 5 restaurants in Lucknow; No quality compromise and budget friendly. Also, very quick and hassle-free home delivery. They could be slightly more generous with the quantity but the quality sure does make up for it :)

The place has a mesmerizing ambience, everything well placed. The bamboo lights and the different color scheme combine into a beautiful bouquet.
The location is perfect and the tranquility of a rural restra can be well experienced.
They have a comfy seating arrangement, no matter you going to chill with your buddies or you on one of your family outing (where you experiment and your dad pays the bill :D )
We ordered Chicken 65 which was the chef's special and it was awesome .
The Chinese on the whole had a different taste and I loved the way they experimented with curry leaves in the Chinese cuisine.
If you ask me , the best part was the host at the Red Door. She was very welcoming and everyone around there were wearing a beautiful smile which makes you feel at home.
I am sure I constantly bugged my host with lot of queries,preparing my own dish from the menu but she was really a good sport and I did get my Chicken chilly in Hot garlic sauce with lots of mushrooms,broccoli,baby corns and tons of beautiful veggies with extra spice, as ordered :D.
Singapore Rice is a 'must try' dish.
To sum it up, loved this place. Will come back soon :)

Clean, tranquil and minimalist place for a perfect dinner date. No unique menu; no 'sophisticated' behavior by the staff, but taste of Chinese was delicious. The arrangement was also delicate. For the levity, I'd say quality of food perfectly harmonizes with the ambiance. The best thing is restaurant gives good feeling.
A neatly done place, well located and having a decent menu.
They have both Chinese and Mughlai options, but I will stick to the Chinese part as had only Chinese.

Chicken Momos & Honey Chilli Chicken for starters.
Main course was Hot Garlic Chicken, Singapore Noodles and Fried Rice.
To round off, had Chocolate Spring Rolls for dessert.
The food was above average and would definitely recommend the same. The standout dishes were the Soup, the Honey Chilli Chicken and above all the Chocolate Spring Rolls.
They can improve the quantities and speed up the service a bit. The lighting needs a definite improvement as the present yellow lighting gives a drab and dull look.

The Red Door is situated in proximity to Butler Palace and is a newly inaugurated place. The ambience is generally quiet and cozy. Food quality and taste is good. Service is quick and hospitable. I ordered a vegetarian burger and Chilly Garlic noodles and both turned out to be quite delicious.
