apparently it is very famous chat shop because it is sitauted in Hazratganj but i didn’t find the chat so delicious and its not justify its price 70 rupees is very expensive . there are dozen of chat shops in Lucknow which gives better quality under 50 rupees. if price was 50 then i could feel content. But the place and ambiance is very amiable open street seating in evening was worth to come.

Pani k batashe full on taste. They have many options of chaat.. They call aloo tikki as aloo tikiya, they have dahi bada also..it is an old shop in Lucknow which was launched before India got freedom. They have tagline of Azaadi k peheli ki dukaan.

I have been a loyal customer. It's an old fashioned authentic UP chat. Puchka with matar and not aloo, tikki with chatni and dahi. Matar with nibu are my all time favourite.

Taste is Ok Ok. Batashe is not that crunchy, feels like they have some moisture even though in these hot condition. Serving style is good, no cluttering. ONLY CASH I would say, go visit and try

I had an incredible experience at the chaat store! The flavors were truly authentic and mouthwatering. The variety of chaat options was extensive, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The store had a cozy ambiance, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious chaat offerings. Highly recommended for all chaat lovers!

King of Chaat in Lucknow lives up to its name, delivering an exceptional and flavorful chaat experience that's among the city's finest. The taste is undeniably one of the best, drawing locals and visitors alike. The drawback of accepting only cash payments might inconvenience some customers, but the exceptional taste makes it worth the extra effort. The limited seating area doesn't diminish the experience, and the shop's commitment to hygiene adds to its appeal. As one of the oldest chaat shops in Lucknow, it has built a legacy of flavor and quality that continues to stand the test of time.

The pani batashe are nice, specially during summers when they make water of raw mango. Dahi puri and Tikka is also good but prices are little on higher side

Definitely not out of the world but pretty good I’d say. Tasteful flavour if you know what to order. Surely there’s a premium for being a heritage store. I like aloo tikki with dahi chutney. adrak flavour. Dahi puri is good too. While I am there I also try Pani Puri as a ritual before chaat though not particularly fond of it. I like their flavour better than Royal cafe which seems too rich or Shukla Chaat which is sweeter.
