This place is heaven for non vegetarian and if you are in Lucknow this place should not be missed . They have 4-5 branches all over Lucknow and this branch near to Tulsi theatre is best among all of them. The locality is very busy so parking will be major concern. The place is always crowded so you have to give your name in waiting list but the way crowd is managed you will soon get the seat. The famous Galawat Kabab just melt in your mouth and their another signature dish Chicken Masala is Bang on. Mutton Biryani is 100/100..They have good menu and none of their items will disappoint you.
The price is definitely on higher side but the quality and quantity is worth every penny.

I recently dined at Dastarkhwan and overall, the experience was quite delightful. The standout feature of this restaurant is undoubtedly its excellent food quality. Additionally, the restaurant's popularity is evident in the crowded atmosphere, and the limited seating may pose a challenge during peak hours. It's advisable to plan accordingly or consider takeout during busy times.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the culinary experience at Dastarkhwan is worth the visit. If you're a fan of authentic flavors and don't mind a bustling environment, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

I tried Galawati Kabab and chicken Masala with Mughlai Paratha.
Chicken Masala was a bit on the drier end of gravies with chicken pieces on bone. I would have preferred boneless chicken in thick gravy, but maybe that's just my choice. Galawati kabab was very dry. Tunday serves better galawati kabab, for sure.
Waiter are very fast and accomodating. They listen to requests and act promptly. I had some leftovers which were packed for me to take home. Also, since I was dining alone, they accomodated me in a table where another person was eating alone.
I went at 9:40 in the night and didn't have to wait. When I came outside there was 15-20 people waiting for seats. I guess I was lucky. Including this part to covey that the restaurant is quite busy during dinner, kindly plan accordingly
Went there upon a friend’s recommendation with high expectations. We had Mutton and Chicken Biryani and were not disappointed. The ambience might be a bit off but the food makes up for it.
Delicious food, but be ready for long waiting time, especially during weekends.

The food was good as always, I ordered chicken masla galwati kabab n mughlai paratha, everything was good in taste, and fast service. The rate is now not nominal as in our old days but that is expected. Must try it if u are a non veg food lover.
One of my friend from Lucknow has recommended this place to me . For all the hard core non vegetarian people this place is a must visit .

This place is very pocket friendly , in a very less amont any can enjoy the ultimate taste of lucknow.
1. One of the hotels which offers delicious varieties of food and starters. The kabab is very famous here.
2. Easily located hotel. Though lot of hotels are available, this is one of the best.

Dastarkhwan is well-known Resturant in Lucknow. And this branch on weekends just overrated because of crowds. Avoid weekends otherwise it's pretty good.
I visited this restaurant with my cousins who recommended this place for authentic lucknowi biryani. The place was crowded, however, enough seating arrangement was there. As decided ordered chicken biryani, the service was super fast. Biryani rice was served with medium thick chicken gravy and chopped onion and pudina chutney. At first, it appeared to be plain rice, however, the moment I had the first spoon of biryani with gravy, I realised the richness of flavours and ingredients. The taste was amazing and flavoursome. Chicken served with biryani was soft and fresh. The rates are reasonable. The staff are polite. This place is highly recommended for non-veg food.Masala chicken and tandoori chicken are a must try, kabab was also good but not the greatest. A must try when visiting Hazratganj.

My go to place whenever I’m in Lucknow. The kebabs are amazing as always. Maybe they can work on decongesting and cleaning the place a little bit more. But, the taste is totally on point.
The pure Lucknow feel I must say…. Awesome kebabs… we tried galauti kebab, shami kebab, sikh kebab, boti kebab (gravy) , Mutton biriyani half… believe me guys you won’t forget the taste… there are bengali staffs also… with all those dishes above we were suggested special paratha,,. And it was just superb… never had paratha with kebab… and this time I fell in love with paratha And galauti kebab… just visit and taste 😋😋
