Dosa was yummy.
Stuffing was perfect.
Sambar was little bit watery.

You could never go wrong with South Indian Cuisine. I didn't like their dosa because it had raw onions and tomatoes. It's just a personal preference. I don't like it that way. Other items like idli sambar and vada sambar are really very delicious ❣️

It is famous for it’s dosa,one must try masala rawa dosa as well as masala dosa,Both are equally good,
Here u can try pizzas and sandwiches as well,but taste is average .U will find quality dosa,s at reasonable prices....Just one drawback:-need little improvement in Ambience and sitting area ..

Kumaran dosa and fast food as we all know is a fast food shop I like it very much as I visited every Sunday its Prabha masala dosa uttapam and double cheese pizza is really amazing it's double cheese pizza is really soft I have never seen such a soft pizza till now
A good south indian food serving joint. Ordered Masala Dosa and Dahi Wada Both dishes were good. I would like to give 4 out of 5 points. There is parking problem. Otherwise it is a good place.
This one is a pocket friendly place. Better to get the food ordered than go out here for dine-in. Packing is nice. Personally i don't like their Sambhar much, but i like the chutneys. Among the dosa's, rawa onion dosa is the best and among the uttapam's, i like the mixed uttapam.
PS- if any get-together at your home and you want to serve your guests piping hot Kumaran dosa, then their ain't any problem, as they can provide their van service at your doorstep.

Uttapam was cooked perfectly, loved the paneer shavings over it.. However can't say the same for masala dosa. It was edible but not so delicious. Can find better in other south Indian joints in city..
Sambhar was less spicy - good for people who prefer less spicy food.

Place serve authentic south indian food . specially the paneer onion dosa and dahi vada were the best i had there.the madala dosa and french fries were also crispy enough . it is pocket friendly and best place for parties also .😊

The place servers authentic south indian food. I have tried their paneer onion dosa and dahi vada, both of them were amazing. The dosa was by far the best i have had in ludhiana. Service is good.

Yummy dosa! Having lived in Bangalore and tasted a variety of dosa - I am still a big fan of Kumaran's dosa. Love their sambhar and red chutney. How I wish the place was a little more cleaner though!! So wanted to take my friends there, but couldn't given the unhygienic feel that this place has :/

Had one of the most buttery dosas in a long time. We usually have mashed potatoes inside the dosa but this is different. We found chopped vegetables inside the dosa which was a new for me. But still it tasted great and it was butter all over. Seating capacity is limited and the place is filled with people. The service is lightning fast and there is limited parking space available outside the venue. Good place to taste South India in North India.

This place is very reasonable. I tried dosa and pav bhaji and it was good. Rava plain butter dosa was not what I wanted to have with friends. Otherwise their dosa is crunch filled with properly spiced masala. They improved the condition and cleanliness as compared to my last visit.
Rawa dosa is love. Even the chutneys and sambhar are great. I prefer to get the things packed and bring them home. They do insualted packing of the food. The dosa loose its crispy taste in the procedure of packing , but still it always serves a wonderful dinner.

This food joint unlike the very sophisticated south indian places still has a tinge of authenticity when it comes to south indian cuisine.Not the best place to sit and eat but why sit?They pack the food in these insulated pouches keeping the food fresh and mouth watering.I have only tried their dosas,vadas and couple of pastas.I would highly recommend trying their butter masala,onion butter masala dosa and their dahi vada.TRUST ME when I say their dosas are better than all the SHREES and RATNAS.

This place lives up to its name !! One of most famous place for dosa in Ludhiana and when ever you go to try it , you will find yourself satisfying a lot ! Even if you take dosa once and ask sambar and coconut mesh again they don't hesitate to give you at all and moreover , most of dosa are good to try but I still like butter masala dosa to most and now even it has pizza , pasta , sandwich also !! If you wanna taste dosa , give it a try for sure and you will be back !!
Starting from a rehri in front of college ,this place has grown leaps and bounds. Serve some really crispy and nice dosas. Chutneys and sambhar all have that good south Indian taste. Everything is fresh. Now they have made arrangements of Ac hall too. Everyday you will find huge rush on the road of cars because of them. They are one big example of serve good food and you will grow for sure
They have best Masala and onion dosa in Ludhiana. Other restaurants serve red sauce as tomato sauce but they have proper south Indian red sauce. Their Sambar and Coconut chutney is good too. We are lucky that they have opened their restaurant in Rajguru Nagar too and quality is same :)
Kumaran dosa shop is a true example of entrepreneurship in success city "LUDHIANA".I still remember my college years when these guys came to Ludhiana from South & started a Rehri in front of KHALSA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN in Ghumar Mandi.The rate of their dosa was ₹10 with unlimited sambhar & their taste & pricing certainly affected business of some well known restaurants like Kipps which used to sell Dosa at thrice the prices.Within years these guys tasted such success that today they have their own shop at one of the most costliest areas like College Road.What has changed over the years is certainty the pricing & a bit of taste. Mushrooming of more & more value for money south indian options hasnt yet affected their years old clientele.These guys still rule but taste definitely is no more authentic south Indian as it used to be.Service is Okay ,families can dine in or get service in car.Parking can be found after a bit of trouble.

What an upgrade, the taste obviously was never a question about Kumaran (the best south India in Ludhiana ? Try other outlets too).
But the upgrade in menu and the sitting + interior Change is amazing.
I mean it's good , you can sit around and enjoy your meal.
Parking issue : Should be highlighted, it's very very hard to find a spot in rush hours
For family arrangements it's the best , I still won't recommend it much to the friends / couples ,I mean it's not bad -- but not the recommended place(you will have to maintain bit of a ,you kn,)

In there food there is the real taste of South India. I tried it as one of my friend suggested me honestly it was a very good experience.
So anyhow if someone goes to ludhiana I suggest them to try the Kumaran dosa the great feel of South Indian dishes.
I used to have dosa from Kumaran during my college days. I came here after 6 years and the food was really great & delicious. I had rawa masala dosa & lemon drink. Both of these were outstanding in taste. Kumaran Dosa also takes care about the hygiene & serving team knows how greet & treat the customer. Must visit place.
Really good, like 'on a move', 'quick', it's just they've lot of ppl to serve so it gets slow, otherwise food is yum if one is hungry, I had uttapam which was really good. melon mojito which's my fav. Idli, really good I had in North India, fried momos were good too, dosa is lit stuffing is so good

They have best Dosa as well as sambar but they are lacking in Chinese snacks except for cheese chilly which is yummy as well as great quantity for 2 people. Must try
