Want some good italian food with a cozy ambience, my pick is oliva. Oliva is one of the best restaurants to serve good italian food in ludhiana. English breakfast tea is enough for 3 people. The chicken steak is my favorite. Woodfire pizzas always are a pick and they serve some delicious baked pasta.

Worst experience ever I ordered pasta and there was no cheese and sauces in it was less in quantity .. the taste was like Italian noodles as I ordered spaghetti pasta. Even the services are not good as I had discussed the concern with manager . He was not at all cooperative. Not recommended!!

Topped with melted grated cheese.✔️ . • Assorted Bread Basket ~ One of the finest bread baskets we've had in the city. Perfect crisp and flavours even in variety butters served along.✔️ . • Veneziana Pizza ~ Crisp fresh baked thin crust base topped with bell peppers, capers, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes & mozzarella cheese.✔️ . • Warm Salad/ Antipasto ~ Sauteed vegetables in barbecue sauce✔️ . • Wild Mushroom Risotto ~ Creamy Italian dish made with Arborio Rice, Shitake Mushroom, Tomatoes and Parmesan shavings. Rating : 3.9 Located in the heart of the city , yet you feel like a gateway to the city. The spirit of the place is so positive especially the entrance surrounded with lush greenery. Place incorporated with grove and a passage to the seating area makes it warm and intimate. Food is gratifying . breads are cooked to perfection. Loved their salads. Chicken with mustard sauce was good but chicken steak was just passable. Outside seating area can be improved but overall you gonna love the place with perfect ambience for date as well as with group of friends too. Service is average neither too sharp nor too bad. Prices I feel worthy totally due to great experience. Can be a bit pricy for regular visits but loved this place. This place doesn’t offer coffee and tea also served till 7:00 pm only which should be modified totally as it’s just basics.

This is one of the softest place in Ludhiana far away from the hustle bustle of the city. Pretty ambience and the best part is its passage where you can click amazing pictures😛😛 now coming on to the food review, i ordered 1) turkish salad- though salad is not everybody's favourite but this one is worth a try. Pieces of feta cheese make it even more lip smacking. I will give 4.5/5 2) penne pasta in white sauce- i'm not able to get over its taste even now. Served with crispy garlic bread.i will give it 5/5 3)Veneziana pizza- it was nothing extraordinary. More of tomatoes. I will give 3/5 4) Red thai curry with rice- even having all the above it disregarded the concept of diminishing marginal utility😜 thai curry is not something you would find easily n in a great taste. If you are a thai curry lover you should definitely try this one. I will give 5/5 5) jungle cooler- this was the mocktail version of pina colada. I will give it 4.5/5 And the best part is if you go there before 3pm, you'll get a basket of assorted breads with dips complimentary.

So the first thing about this place that you will be noticing is how calm and serene this place is, its surrounded with greenery, trees, plants and everything that just lifts your mood and gets your hopes high regarding food. The passage to the main sitting area is just magical, they have a small sitting area outside too and just a few tables inside. The interiors are nice and cozy, mediun lit, you might get a special goan vibe here too. They specialize in italian food. The staff was very helpful in everything. We ordered Texas Fried Chicken and Chilli chicken singapore style with rice, while waiting for food, they gave us a complimentry bread basket with assorted breads which was really nice and unique. The fried chicken was just amazing, almost non oily, the marination was perfect, that the chilli chicken was cooked to perfection, the combination of chilli chicken and boiled rice was really yummy. Overall, my taste buds were 100% satisfied, i would upvote my ratings to 5 star ince i go again and try a few more items here. If you are looking for some time away from all the rumbling and craziness of the city, do visit this gem of a place. Taste:9/10, Service:8/10, Ambience:10/10, Value for Money:9/10

This place is an absolute gem. The food is amazing and the service fair. The cook on chicken is done well and so are the sauces. Even an average to mediocre looking dish tastes good and you will be satisfied. The aglio olio is not very satisfactory though. If you are looking for vegan variants, then they hardly have anything on the menu that is vegan. The ambience is quiet and calm. Can be a bit pricey for regular outings but the food is good and you won’t be disappointed. Their bathroom is not very clean and the outdoor seating can be improved in terms of aesthetics.

This is a cosy place with a well thought out menu. I ordered milestrone al tomato soup which had a unique flavoring to it very subtle and refreshing as starter. For appetizer I had paneer sashlik with an amazing brown sauce it was very well spiced and had my tastebuds tingling. For dessert we had hot choco lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was oozing hot chocolate , quite decent dessert and enough for two person.

We discovered this place while browsing on Zomato,and decided to give it a go,here's our take on it:- Oliva's situated in a really random,desolate place on the Pakhowal Road,but somewhere deep in the houses...thats definitely a minus point But once you reach there,you realize why..there's a lot of open out door space which has been made into a really cute seating area with fairy lights on trees and an outside bar,the ambience is pretty green and welcoming for a polluted city like ludhiana Inside ,the seating is like a standard restaurant,nothing special. I'd recommend this place for a good weather evening. They welcomed us with a complimentary bread basket with three flavours of butter,they all tasted amazing and i was blown by this welcome treat We ordered Iced Tea and Pink Sauce spaghetti- Iced Tea was really good,and Spaghetti wasn't bad either. It was alright. Over all ,we had a nice evening. This place should put up a bigger board or something making people aware it exists. Its definitely underrated! A big thumbs up for Italian fans 🌸

This a kind of calm place in Ludhiana. I heard a lot about the authenticity of this place in Italian cuisine. I went there with my family asked for fettuccine carbonara which was unavailable at that time alternatively we ordered pizza which was very good. They served bread basket with some dips complementary before serving pizza.

Went there for dinner. The food quality was very poor. The service was not upto the mark as there were only 2 persons who were handling everything. Pizza was not even fresh and it looked that the old crust has been heated again and served. Overall the experience was pathetic we left everything. Not worth to go there.

Best Italian served here ironically they have shortened there menu , you won't get the grilled trout ,lobsters and tenderloin steaks anymore . But still loves there drunken chicken and polo fircasso . Ambience is good but staff is not at all polished . I don't know how they have managed the chef . Not at all aggressive or interested in marketing and increasing sales . Had changed there menu completely . I remember the times when every dish was exclusive , wish those days comes back and our own authentic and first oriental restaurant of Ludhiana reclaims glory .

Worst experience ever!! We ordered snacks and a drink but the waiter told us very rudely they won't serve anything unless we order something from the main course. We left the place and the manager seemed totally disinterested The place is always empty even during peak hours and the outdoor area seemed as if it was not cleaned since months and the ambience indoors is too dingy

Surprisingly almost authentic Italian food in Ludhiana, wasn't expecting such subtle taste and freshness of ingredients in Ludhiana. My rating is using the base of any good place across the country but within Ludhiana Oliva should deserve better rating. Had Lasagne, pizza Veneziana and mushroom celery soup- all doable again.

I have never understood why this place does not do well and is hardly ever full. They serve by far the best Italian food in Ludhiana. And by Italian I mean authentic Italian and not your Punjabi pasta. Perhaps it is their location which is a tad bit hard to find or perhaps international food which has not been Punjabified does not suit the local palate. Nonetheless you can order just about anything on the menu and you will love it - be it their creamy soups, wood oven thin crust pizzas or absolutely delicious pastas. A special mention for their complimentary bread basket which we always fight over coz its the best fresh bread you are going to find.

Will never visit again!! We went for desserts (there were no other customers). They refused to serve desserts without ordering main course ..a normal desert was about 350rs (inclusive tax) they said they dont take such small orders ..what kind of restaurant does that ..not even 5 stars ..when we asked manager very rudely he said-'chalo de do' as if he is doing a favor!! Service- very poor and rude staff Ambience-good thou Food- i dont want to have food at such a rude place!!

One of my oldest favourites in the city have always loved there lamb chops and grilled fish. The place has an amazing ambiance miss the outdoor sitting though. The only place where they lack is service if the restaurant is full but quality of food has never been compromised. I've actually had many of my work lunches here. It's a quiet place in the afternoon. A table by the window is always my pick. Have been there twice or thrice I guess. The service is very good and prompt. The food.... I've had the Chinese and its fairly nice. The hakka noodles were simple and the quality was good too. Not much you can ask for. Same goes for the rice and the gravies. The pastas are very decent and well flavoured. The mains should also be given a try. A go ahead from my side.

This place was recommended to me by a friend as the best italian joint in town, and sure as hell it lives up to its reputation. It has an old Italian like classy feel to it, just like book The Godfather. Ambience is typically italian just like its food. Basically the food and the set-up complement each other. The service was really good and quick too. The complementary bread they offer with the butter is a sweet gesture that would bring a smile to your face, always. But don't hog onto all the bread that you don't have space left for the delicacies you're going to order. :P

One of the very few authentic restaurants(be it any cuisine) in Ludhiana, this place has been serving amazing food for quite some time now. Nicely located, the restaurant is divided into two parts. One has a family dining kind of look while the other is more of a pub/lounge.
