This place is located opposite to pau gate. Its located on terrace and serves amazing food. I went here on a birthday party and enjoyed a lot. The manchurian was amazing and it became my favourite. The view from the place is amazing. I wish to go there again.💯

Lodhi’s machaan as per my view is a one stop solution to all types of food,beverages and party requirements. It has the only family-style multi-cuisine fine dine Restaurant in the city, well stocked lounge bar with inhouse dj and HD projection screen. There are Multiple kitty halls which can accommodate 20-50 guests at once. Lodhi’s machaan also has an air conditioned rooftop banquet for 100 guests with open terraces and inhouse video dj-ing.
The north indian and mughlai food is undoubtedly the best in town! You can even relish their signature chinese and continental dishes at a price which I must say is really reasonable.
A family Dine-In restaurant is what this city needed and they are the best and probably the only place where families can enjoy their time.
I totally loved the MixFruit Sunshine and the beetroot punch.
The whole menu is beautifully curated.

A wonderful place to have dinner with friends and family! The food, ambience and location of this place are all good.
We tried Butter Chicken, Machaan Special Chicken and Masala Papad. Butter Chicken had a very tasty gravy. Chicken was cooked to perfection. The other chicken dish was good too but butter chicken was just way better! Papad was crisp with a good portion of veggies on top of it.

A very very under rated place in my opinion. Dont go by the looks of it coz i cannot understand this as i have never seen this place full, at most its only half packed and sometimes its just empty.
I have been to this place many many times before, and each and every time the quality of the food is top notch, the service may be a bit on the slower side but they make it up with their politeness and swift actions.
I have tried a variety of things here, from indian to chinese, mughlai, italian and not once have they disappointed us at any point of time. Also they have a wonderful open terrace place which can be very useful for small get together of course depending on the weather.
If you love chinese food, this is a must visit place for you.

A nice place to visit. Location is good but needs to be highlighted. One doesn't get the feeling of entering in a restaurant as Fortiz Medicine is highlighted more on the building than this restaurant. Please take my words in positive criticism cz I wanna this place to flourish more. Food was good. Murg Makhni was Awesome.

The place gives an option to be served at 3 different halls. The rooftop and Sky lounge have good ambience while The Machaan does not look so great! The taste and quality of food is really good and is available at pocket friendly prices. The preparation time needs to be fastened a bit. The overall experience was good!
U might overshoot the place If u don't know where it exactly is because it is definitely not in sarabha. Ambience is good u get to choose between halls with 3 completely different ambience to sit.
Food was good (not exactly superb). Didnt find anything exclusive of this place, you can be sure they wont spoil the taste u might be looking for thus not the type of place u would like to experiment with in food. Drinks were a little on the expensive side. But overall a good place to hang around where you won't get much of crowd to wait for long time for the table.
Very good ambience and service. The food served is also good with very good and fast service. Our snacks arrived within minutes and the taste was delicious. Same was true for the main course. More items can be added on the menu.

yesterday me and my friends visited this place for lunch.We have heard a lot about machaan so we deiced to visit. The place was very neat n clean. Due to bad weather there were 2-3 flies around our table and that was the big turn off..
Food was awesome .. we ordered lahori chicken and paneer with butter roti n raita .. we loved the food. Staff were good but service as compare to other good restaurant was lil low.
They have roof top sky lounge with small out sitting area with beautiful view. now planning for my next visit .It was a good experience

We visited 'the machaan ' when it was IPL final evening! The environment in the LOunge(5th floor) was great wid ppl hooting for every 6,4 hit by Kings XI Punjab! The food was delicious! We ordered tandoori chilli chicken,murg tikka nawabi and for the main course butter chicken wid lachha parantha/tandoori rotis. However the mocktail was okayish i wud say! The icing on the cake was the dessert 'hot chocolate fantasy'! It was served in tulip glass wid layers of caramel,brownie,chocolate sauce,vanilla! It was truly lip-smacking!
The ambience was also good,nice interiors!
Service was great,the staff came time and again to ask if food was ok,if we wanted smthin else plus they served from time to time! Full marks for service!

I visit ludhiana very often and and a friend of mine suggested this place to me.
It had a beautiful rooftop with amazing view and nice climate.

This place used to be The Swagath, but now it has been refurbished and renamed as The Machaan. The interiors are basically the same, with better music. The service was pretty good. Food was absolutely amazing. The Chicken Lababdar, Chicken Fried Rice with Chicken in hot garlic sauce were absolutely amazing. Pricing is reasonable. They have a pretty decent parking which is quite essential considering the fact that it gets so many customers.
P.S. Perfect place for a romantic dinner date.
It's new and improved ! The swagath franchisee has been done away with and up comes the new machan! The ambience is awesome and inviting . Does justice to fine dining. The music is amazing and the staff is warm and welcoming. The menu is interesting . Their chilli chicken , murg lababdar are really good but the best were non veg fried rice and chicken in hot garlic sauce is really good. Their pricing is reasonable and the portion size is generous. The servers were nice and the fresh lime soda was average. It's a must go place for dinners !

Good restaurant with very good atmosphere and fully family friendly with the live music it even gets better ... The main course and the food was very good and taste , Also the quantity of the main course was also very good but don't go for there starter's because it's quantity is very disappointing. Nonetheless it's very good place to visit to have food. .. Dinner time is the best suitable time. And ethical decoration is also good for the theme.
And table booking is recommended.
Few days back, We planned to have dinner here on my marriage anniversary. We ordered Sweet Corn Soup and Veg Wontons as starters and all three Indian Summer Specialities in main course items of Mushrooms, Paneer n Chicken and Veg Biryani as well. Believe me, each item we had was amazingly tasty especially The Indian Summer Murg Masala was melt in the mouth. Ambience was very impressive, service was reasonably good and support staff was very prompt. The rates are a bit on the higher side but keeping in view the quality n quantity of the food items served, is understandable. I highly recommend this place n would love to try n taste some more food items from here.

It's good place, old place but good for dinning and get together party. Different look. I was invited on a party, it was good food and nice arrangement for party. I like the sweet dish like ice cream with fruits.

We were here for a business dinner and opted for authentic Punjabi restaurant. They have another restaurant outside which serve business buffet and some continental dishes. But we settled for authentic Punjabi food. People who loves good food , good ambiance must visit there. Ludhiana's one of wonderful restaurant which is serving best

One of the few places in Ludhiana where they have been able to maintain the standards. Slightly on the pricier side, but worth it IMO.
