And once upon a time it used to be the Best Sweet Shop around , was the first ones to introduce Rajbhog and Sponge Rasgullas and Kachoris. But with time they have not been able to maintain their true level or probably the competitors got smarter .
Just around the corner lies a small corner-shop which serves you limited but one of the best sweets and snacks. Bikaner sweets is like a respite since it is the only decent looking sweetshop in the Sarabha Nagar main market area. It is a hot spot for hot winter sweets and all-time street food. They were not serving dal ka halwa, but nevertheless the gajar halwa served here was simply amazing. Its rare that I get a gajar halwa which is not too sweet and not too bland. The gulab jamun of two shapes, both having the similar taste though, is another delight. They offer a limited range of sweets but the preparation is at the utmost. The dry Indian snacks served here show some nice creativity in their preparation, however still it is always preferable to have their live street food from the chat tikki counter in the corridor. While Lohri sweets and packed namkeens remain favourites of many locals around the area.
Great to be here once a while. Tastiest sweets, samosa, kachori etc. May find parking in Kipps market adjoining.
5 stars for it's scrumptious rasgullas (1 for rs10 only) and authentic rajasthani ghevar.
One of it's own kind for few items. Rasgullas are one of the main attractions.
