Thaliya Traditional Kodava Platter - Madikeri - Photo album

We tried first time Coorg cuisine here. Most of the recipes are made of rice. We tried bamboo shoot curry. It was good. If you love recipes of rice then you will love this.
We had lunch and dinner here to try authentic Kodava dishes. All the dishes we tried were really good. Nothing to complaint. Excellent ambience and not over crowded.
We desired to continue with our quest for Coorg cuisine and had Lunch at this joint. Located a bit away from the Market area the hotel is in the physical precincts of a treebo hotel. They serve authentic Coorgi cuisine and Pandhi Curry helping was very tasty and the helping was generous. Horse gram
If you are looking for Kodava Authentic cuisine this place is a must visit. We liked the chicken chidkan and other dishes. Even the beverages were fresh and soothing. Service was good too.. We would definitely visit this place on our next visit to Coorg
Thaliya traditional platter justify it completely.. Amazing food very authentic, just not comercial kind of food very homely. All the spices catches the taste buds the food is fresh and aromatic, feels like it's coming from my grandmother's kitchen.. Staff are so kind and generous they on their toes
I believe this restaurant is only a year old so maybe it's not featured in a lot of recommendations but the food here is something else. The flavour in the gravy of the mutton chops, taste of the ghee rice and the chicken curry is next level. Had my fair share of pork dishes from other restaurants b
The hotel is highly rated and deservedly so. The veg food options are excellent the non veg was good too but a bit spicy. We were a group of 37 and they managed to cater to our group with some delays . Overall worth a visit
I am not acquainted enough with Kodava food to judge if the food was Kodava enough or traditional enough, but we ordered local dishes, and my family and I enjoyed all of them. They had a balanced blend of spices that allowed us to enjoy the food without overpowering our palates. Recommended.
Great experience with authentic koduva style cuisines... we tried kadumbattu and Pandi barthandu. The passion fruit soda was so natural and delightful!
Recommendation : chicken 88, chicken curry, kadambuttu View is dependent on weather. While it rains, its very nice. Food has a very homely taste which is nice.
