Was craving for good Non-Veg food on pongal dy but my bad luck most of the restaurants are closed. Initially I planned to visit Kumar MESS but that was also closed so, ended up here at Thalapakatti!
Not much crowded but parcel section was very busy.
Got seats for 2 persons, ordered mutton biryani,
Mostly crowded on the weekends difficult to find a table. But, taste wise too good compared to Chennai branches I would say. Service is very good, very polite staff and they treat you with great respect since Madurai is known for it's hospitality.
Wow ❤️the food was very good..me and my husband tried the mutton Briyani. The one portion can be eaten by 2 person...its alot❤️Friendly staff too..
We have went few times here.spacious clean atmosphere. They are known for their briyani... Mutton briyani is tasted good.. their plating is appreciable..we are fan of their mutton brain egg roast... simply superb when eaten hot. Have tried prawns chukka..golden prawns ..fish finger..chicken lollipo
Good ambience, Chicken 65 is so good, Biryani is slight ok but not too good. Grill Chicken and that sweet mayoo are top notch. Must try black pepper chicken and chilly chicken. Overall Good.
We had dinner here! The food and ambiance was fantastic. The service was fast and efficient. The restaurant is strategically located by the highway.
Food quality is good and get the order in time. They mentioned the time taken for the food and deliver at time. It really nice to plan and wait for the food.
The biriyani was unbeatable and service also too good happy for visited that place, and the pepper chicken was fabulous and spicy worth visiting the place and glad to visit again. Rate also reasonable I'm happy with the price also one plane biriyani, chicken biriyani and pepper chicken costs 420 on
Ambience of Restaurant is traditional and it is housed in Rooms connecting each other But food I have is vegetable fried rice and mushroom masala and with delicious side dish is very exciting in its composition
Perfect spot for some authentic non vegetarian cuisines. We had thalappakatti mutton biriyani and it was awesome. Service was also good.
Good food but need to improve service
One of the best food spot in Madurai. And there are so many same restaurants in nearby places also. They also have the same restaurant in Kerala also.
They have two restaurant at my home town Trivandrum also😍one shop is at pattom & another Lulu Mall Trivandrum 😍💪

Now the taste has upgraded, last 1 yr back taste was literally bad, again the old thalapakatti taste has come back. Briyani was Mind-blowing. I enjoyed it ... Maintain the taste and aroma
This restaurant is best place to dine for non vegetarian and it is famous for it's briyani.65 briyani was so nice.price of menu's are moderate.food tastes like hom made food.In Madurai two shops were located.
