Nukkad has always been a go to place for me when ever i was travelling to Mahableshwar or passing by. It used to a a hardcore non veg joint right at the centre of the Mahaleshwar market place. The variety of non veg dishes have always been overwhelming. Try the tandoori, kaleji, keema, mutton bhuna, mutton handi and chicken rolls here, its delicious. The butter rotis are lovely and little different - must try.
Recently i overheard that the place is not doing well in terms of food and services but ingnoring that i paid a visit being a regular patron for years, to be honest i did not have any negative experiences in terms of the quality of food or service, guess it must have been a phase and they seem to be back on track.
Nukkad is must try place for non veg lovers as there are very few known places around.
Another great option for dining is the Venna upahar Gruh restaurant run by MTDC Resorts Mahableshwar, do try its lovely.

Nukkad is a veg and nonveg restaurant in the Mahabaleshwar market. Chicken tikka biryani was good but quantity seems less. They don't serve any sweet. COVID 19 precautions were taken. Service time is above average.

One of the few restaurants located in the market of Mahabaleshwar. Food served is good. Starters are good to try here than the main course. Location wise and ambience wise one of the good restaurant and also nearby one Punjabi restaurant is good.
Amazing food options. Their rolls are to die for, one roll easily fills up two people's appetite. The quality and quantity are top notch.

Its mainly a non-vegetarian restaurant and didnt have many vegetarian option. My husband wanted to eat egg curry and thus we went here. Its also on the main road , near the market area. It was empty. We were the only two people. He ordered egg curry with rice and I ordered dal with naan.
He liked the egg curry, I tasted it and didnt like it. The dal wasnt much good either

We ordered a Chinese starter and a Chicken tikka biryani.
The Chinese starter was good, not the authentic Chinese taste though.
The chicken tikka biryani was excellent in taste, although the portions here are smaller.
The management should take this into consideration and increase portion size.
