This is a Nepali restraunt perfect 😃 place to have yummy 😋 momos and cheese cake🍰. And not only that even other dishes in the menu are also yummy.
If you are visiting this restaurant in the morning then I should recommend their breakfast combo.
The staff service was really good. This restaurant is easy to located and the ambiance is also perfect.
I like this place because testy food, friendly staff, fast cook and early open. Also there is also good price if comparing with others. Maybe only design is simple, but for me it is not important.

This place is run by Nepalese and have a Nepalese theme. Tried Momos and Thukpa here which were really good. Really liked the vintage ambiance and the service is also good. Also recommend to try the bakery items - chocolate peanut balls and cheese cake were really awesome.
As they say if the host is good then you already like the place . The service is awesome and the food is so homely .Starting from sizzlers ,macaroni,lasagna everything is awesome . Nepali Thali is good too . This place should be in the list If anyone visits mahabalipuram
Very good host. Not a very chique place
Their dry chilli chicken is still my favourite among many others. They use a homemade chilli sauce. Very hot and spicy yet too much of taste. Their garlic Toast is bliss and cream of chicken soup is brilliant. This is a very pocket friendly place. Their English breakfast is also nice.
Simply the best brunch place in Mahabs for an elaborate english breakfast. Their American BF is lovely.

Been here based on the reviews on Zomato. Tried American breakfast. There is no Indian breakfast here strictly. The only complaint was that the service was so delayed that I almost lost patience. When the food reached my table and then I started to eat my agony vanished. The food was fantastic and filling. The bakery section was great and the breads were classic and I will try next time with the bakery section.
This is a small joint run by the Nepalese. Good continental dishes with very reasonable pricing. There is no ambience as such. They also have a small bakery section with few cookies and cakes.
Loved the food there. Didn't expect this well as the taste of watever we ordered. Ordered breakfast combo which had 2 cute looking eggs in it. Bread was good enough. Had ordered cheese omlet and banana honey pancake . The pancake was delicious 🤗🤗 worthy of the money spent on breakfast.

Located on the way to The Moonrakers , this place offers a nice and cozy atmosphere to enjoy one of the better international and tibetian food at affordable prices.
The interiors are tastefully decorated with several tibetian/nepalese motifs.
The major selling point of the place apart from the food is the friendly and caring staff.However, the service is a bit time consuming.
We went here in the evening and ordered lasagna,Cheese momos and macaroni.
The food was really good and served hot.The portions are perfect and good value for money.
Worth a visit for the awesome food that won't burn a hole in your pocket.

Again visited this place out of compulsion to eat good food!!We werea group of 4 and had Chicken Lasagna(once again as this is my favorite),American chopsuey and veg chopsuey and chicken pizza.As usual the portions were more than enough and the lasagna and chopsuey were nicely cooked.But the pizza was a little of a disappointment though because the crust seemed a tad thick.
Will try more some other time.:)

Try the set and american breakfast with half fry eggs and coffee. The potatoes and the bread is very good and the half fry is also well presented.

One of the best place to have some international food in this costal town.As this restaurant/ bakery managed by Nepali management you can expect authentic Tibetan and Nepali dishes.chefs salad,Thupka and sizzlers are highly recommended.
Don't expect quick service as this is not your city's fast food corner. Ambiance is quite simple decorated with Tibetan flags, reminds u small small Dhabas from leh - Tibet region.
Overall it deserves 4 ratings purely for its food and simplicity.👍
This is easily the best eatery around in this quaint seaside town. The cheap and great food, the warm staff, and the smell of the sea. It all combines to one happy experience. Don't expect much of a decor at this place, it's known for its cheap, but amazing, European cuisine. Starting off with its delicious Lasagne ala bolognese, the chocolate pancakes, the chips chilly, prawns in butter garlic sauce, and the warm brewed coffee. Everything is delicious here. And it fits a college students budget perfectly! If you really stuff yourself, the average cost is around 500 per person.
One of the best places to hangout and eat in mahabalipuram. The Chilly fries and sizzlers are to die for. The best thing about this place is, the price is extremely cheap for the amount and quality of food they serve. It's a must visit!
Good place to go . Momos are very good here . But i will not refer it for only breakfast. Not worth it , but anyother time good visit place.
A very homely place. The owner,a nepali, is a really nice guy. They serve the customers with a smile. Location wise, it's on the busiest street in town. So visibility is good.
Coming to the food, we tried the prawn momos, chicken tuppa, chocolate pan cake & cheesecake. The momos are brilliant. The chicken typos was a soupy noodle filled with chicken and vegetables. It was very filling. Chocolate pancake was decent. The cheesecake is made from homemade cheese I guess. It was too cheesy for my palate. Overall a brilliant find. Don't expect too much of ambience. It's more like a small joint with basic aminities. But they have added some cute nepalese touch to the place.

I have been here more than couple of times and this place never lets my hopes down. Amazing food!! The American breakfast is my favourite and Ravioli too. Taste is at its best. When in Mahabalipuram, its a must visit to treat your yourself.

There is something about Himalayan nations that instill a sense of wonderment inside of me and the moment of stepped into Namaste Restaurant and German Bakery, I was transported to the snow-clad vistas of Nepal, which is where the owner(s) and most of the staff originate from. There’s nothing by way of ambience with the cloth-covered tables and plastic chairs, but the Nepalese paraphernalia that adorn the walls of the place caught my attention, it was like browsing through a gallery of foreign art.
Maybe it’s the insanely pocket-friendly pricing of the goodies at their bakery, or the immense allure the place had towards me, or the fact that I was trying Apple Strudel (remember that scene from Inglorious Basterds?) for the first time, I was really, really impressed by their offerings. I remember the Apple Strudel from the movie being rather flaky, this on the other hand was a pretty doughy, but for a first-timer, I’d rather not have tried it at anywhere else.
One of my friends tried the Lemon Cake, which was a lot more lemon-icing cake than actual lemon cake, but for the ₹50 you’re paying and the generousness of the serving, you can’t be very picky. Another friend tried their Cinnamon Roll, which isn’t up to Pondicherry-spec, but still it’s nowhere as expensive as the finely-crafted rolls you might have enjoyed elsewhere. While there is the mild hit of cinnamon somewhere inside the roll, this more a glorified chai-accompaniment than the typical breakfasty variants you might come across.
Their Masala Chai – nice and thick and plenteous – was one of the best teas I’ve managed to try in Chennai’s vicinity. Period.
All of this set us back ₹220, and this is the most satisfying food I’ve managed to have in Mahabalipuram for the least amount of money. That settles it, the German Bakery is going to be one of those places to which an obligatory visit shall be paid every time I end up dropping into this quaint little town.
A Nepalese feel to the place it brings in a 'll possible cuisines... The food is good and almost feels authentic which is awesome being situated in the touthern most state of the country... The serving is huge and is a budget eat out...

This place is at the entry of the road leading to Moonrakers.
The place is very neat and clean. The food is brilliant and absolute VFM.
the chicken momos were piping hot and fresh. The two accompaniments were flavourfull. It was priced at 140 bucks.
The chicken thukpa was amazing particularly during that weather. Spicy broth with soft noodles, chicken and loads of veggies. Enjoyed it to the fullest. Costed 100 bucks.
The Chicken lasagna was amazing with loads of cheese. Priced at 160 bucks.
Finished it with a piping hot masala chai which was very good with overpowering cinnamon flavor. Cost 30 bucks.
Packed some items from bakery. The apple strudel had overpowering cinnamon flavor again. While the other cookies were average, the coconut cookies were brilliant.
Absolutely worth for every penny paid.
P. S. Service is quite slow as everything is made to order. So be prepared to wait and the wait is worth the food.

Chicken/prawn momo n Nepali style chicken curry are must try. Fresh n home made style food. Very reasonably priced. Orders usually takes abt 30 to 40 mins time as it made fresh to order. If ur looking for safe n pocket friendly food joints in Mahabalipuram, this is d place!
Only place in mahabs where u can get good french food. Lasagna was good. Momos were awesome. I have tried different french breads. All were good. Service was very late. Even though there were very few customers.
We basically wanted to get inside someplace to get some rest from the sun and that's how we discovered this place. Very casual. The bakery is nothing but a little porch with some food. Mayb me if they work on presentation people woukd try it more. The wared seemed good. We had crepes with lemon n sugar. Wayy too much lemon it was overloaded with that. Rice pudding fresh fruits iced tea and coffee shake. Took too long for the order to arrive. Affordable
Chicken quivana, ala bolognese and pizza... If you love cheese, this is the place you must visit if you come to Mahabalipuram. And yes don't forget to try out the momo, cream of chicken soup and coffee..

You have to try the momos! They are cooked to perfection and the chutney they give with it is awesome.
Order anything from the Italian cuisine and you will be treated to lots of cheese! Yummm!
I have tried the pancakes here for dessert. It's nice but not great! You can try the chocolate cake though! Go with your friends. The ambience is quite and you will spot a lot of foreigners here! The owner is a sweetheart Nepali guy!

Mouth watering dishes await you here. For starters try the French onion soup and cheese balls. Oh, and don't for forget the chips chilly. Finger lickin good all of them.
My personal favorite is chicken curry which is served with rice. The dish both tastes yum and looks yum.
Service could improve as you have to wait quite a while before your food arrives. Also it doesn't arrive in any particular order. So be ready to have your starter after your main course. Happy dining!
An amazing place for foodies. I love every veg dish here.. Momos, pizza, white sauce pasta , mayonesse salad... All are must try.. Quantity is also worth the money....
Absolutely delicious continental food. The pastas, and the fried fish are to die for! But the service is painfully slow. Expect your orders to arrive only after an hour or so. Or go there only when you have time to kill!
