Joe's cafe is a small spot having 10 seatings for having refreshments. They provide a good variety of snacks. Price is little bit high as it's situated at walkable distance to the shore. Would recommend it for their authentic taste.

Their crepe’s were amazing and their coffee is always perfect.
They have wide selection of menu items which are also available throughout the day.
Prices are pocket friendly and the ambience is very rustic , typical mahabs.

Love this spot. Everyone in town knows to come here for breakfast or an afternoon latte. We were lucky enough to be staying at the Silver Moon Guest house right above it. Joe (the owner) also does all of the cooking (he is a trained chef) and you can tell it is a labor of love. Everything from crepe

English breakfast combo which had tea/coffee, choice of fresh juice , fried egg, brown bread, chicken sausage and toasted mushroom,tomato.
The food was really good. I tried burgers, English food and fresh juice, they were really good. A good place to sit and chill. Good place for family, couples and friends too.
Food was average... Service is good.. they have maintained their food taste on the basis of foreign visitors.. it's good to visit for that English taste.. overall atmosphere and service is good..

Excellent place. Authentic taste. Good cafe for continental cuisine. Great taste. As always Mr Joe is so so friendly and warm with his smiling face A must try. Highly recommended.
A great place for continental & American breakfast. Those bored with regular south Indian breakfast can drive to this place for a breakfast outing. Situated in a lane branching of the othavadai street a small place serving some delicious food. Cost is little pricey but doest not harm your pockets. P
Amazing cafe. That suprisingly opens @ 7am in the morning , even on weekends. The owner of the cafe joe is a certified motographer💯. Great time spent . You can feel the positive aura .
One of the best breakfast places.. I will never miss going there whenever I travel across Mahabalipuram... Best in English breakfast.. You should definitely try their Jam which is made in-house...
Best in toast, Sandwiches, Coffee & Salads
A great place to have an early breakfast. The sausages were super juicy. Also the cheese mushroom omlette were out of the box. Even the Liver Cleanser juice was a healthy option I took. Its does come on the higher side in terms of cost.
Quite & tranquil ambience, fresh, nice & tasty food. This is the 2nd time I am visiting Mahabalipuram after 7 years & I had hoped to come back to Joe's since the last time I discovered this joint ❤️

Awesome continental breakfast with amazing flavours. Mr Joe is very friendly and hospitable. A great place for breakfast and to start the day with a good choice of dishes. The honey lemon as well as the cheese and mushroom (ragi) pancake is a must try.
The masala tea and black coffee was really good. Fresh juice is brilliant. We ordered ABC , orange and watermelon. All very good
The food was delicious here and all staff are friendly. Had a great time here. My favorite is pick me up which is a smoothie made of Banana, Coconut milk and Honey. Highly recommend this cafe. You can get the best coffee here.
