We ordered egg noodles, chicken noodles, veg fried rice and a side dish from here. Even with limited ingredients during the lockdown they were able to deliver to us. We really liked the food and will be ordering again! Looking forward to trying more dishes.

Instant karma is one of the best places for food in Mahabalipuram. The ambience of place is good, though, at times not so suitable for going with family members. The hosts are really nice and give good suggestions for food. We ordered two pizzas and paneer tikka for starters and the food turned out to be very good. Pizzas were really good whereas paneer tikka could have been a little better. Overall the experience was good and the place is well recommended.

We had gone to IK for a family dinner . Appreciate the quality and taste of the food. The pizzas where really nice. I would suggest the management to air con the place so that it could give some better experience .

This is one of the better places in Mahabalipuram. The owner is extremely friendly. You must try their pizzas and pasta. The Indian menu is also recommend especially the Banjara kebab. There is a second branch opening up soon.
One of the cool joint for the Hot Place. Excellent and quick service, great food, you can blend the food as per your taste just inform the checf. I had tried Chilly beef one of the best and for the veg lovers Paneer Finger a must try.

Excellent service, the cold drinks during the scorching day were just what we needed! The food was excellent as well especially the crispy fried Prawns and Tawa fried Calamari.
We decided to visit this cafe and int know that we’ll come here again the next day for food and the service. Thanks the to great host “Mr Gautam”
The menu has almost everything u’ll want but the best part is u can get it customized based on your taste.
The place served chilled beer and almost had all the varieties possible from bud, kingfisher strong, blue and even bira.
For food we had french fries, paneer tikka, chicken tikka, chilly fish, masala prawns, masala calamari, chicken strips, chinese chicken, lasagna, pizza.
We tried almost everything possible.
The food tasted good and we actually played our own songs.
It was a little less crowded in Friday night but Saturday night was Saturday night there with place being jam packed.
More than the food the host Mr Gautam made us come again. He is totally a great host.
A must visit place and will definitely visit this cafe again.

And the second reason is their lollipop chicken 🍗 😍 Such an ultimate taste😋. Tava fried prawns 🍤 n calamari was okk. More or less same taste compared with moonrakers. And quantity is bit less! Other than that everything was fine. Since it was too late and everything got over we couldn’t hv another lollipop chicken and also many other dishes.

One of the cool places to dine at in Mahabalipuram. It was walking distance from the hotel we were staying at. In fact this entire stretch of street is pretty cool with bakery shops and shopping outlets.
It was empty except another couple so we chose our table. The one staff member was nice and suggested dishes. Only sad about the fresh lime soda tasting like water.

Since the rooftop was occupied, we had to take the garden seating. The owner is very courteous. The food is tasty. Fried rice, pizza, chapati and daal, French fries, noodles: good quantity. Chapati and daal gives you homely feel. Very nostalgic. Ambience is creatively done. The pizza could have been better.
I know im writing this on behalf of many students of The Great Lakes Institute of Management when i say that this place is our favourite place for any kind of celebration or just spending an evening with friends.
It's an original cafe experience where one is free to do whatever one loves to. The staff makes you feel homely and knows their regular customers by names. The owner is a friendly person who makes sure each customer goes back satisfied and comes back looking forward to the same service.

Just awesome...from the food, the Manager, the Hosts, the ambience, to the fellow foodies. Must visit this place for all young at heart. The best thing is that we were pampered by the hosts and customize the cuisine as per our liking...while this might not be the norm, fully appreciate the gesture and the warmth. Had a blast! Highly recommended for seafood and tandoori, north Indian (the ones we ha e tasted so far). Instant karma with an instant food service is a classic place for dining,with variety of cuisine . Ambience is in itself very unique, showcase of flags of different countries is one of the most notable thing. From the menu I ordered chicken thupka ,tawa fried calamari and sea food noodles , with such a great place to hangout it was totally a bliss for our tastebuds

We were tired and as the day was hot, we were looking for some good food after a long ride from Chennai. We looked up online and found the ratings for this place was better than another famous outlet and we decided to give this place a go. And I have to say- we made the right decision. The ambience was somewhere between average and good but the food made up for it. We ordered the chilli chicken pizza, sphagetti non-vegetarian with cream sauce and the chicken lasagne. The first thing that impressed us was the fact that we were able to see them pick up the frozen chicken from the refrigerator after we had placed the order. The second would be the fact that despite them making all the dishes from scratch, our wait time was pretty short. We were served the pizza first and the taste was simple superb, except for the crust which was a little bit thinner than usual and crispier. The lasagne and the sphagetti were both equally good and I couldn't find any faults with these dishes. They tasted amazing. The portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side though. The staff were very friendly and very polite. And the price was a little bit on the higher side for 2 people but the food was worth it. We definitely will be going back for more.

This cafe is located in the heart of Mahabalipuram. It's cozy atmosphere gives you a homely feel. The staff is extremely helpful and ever so cheerful; they brighten up the atmosphere by a notch.
The food here is absolutely amazing. From the pizzas to the dal tadka and rice, it's difficult to decide what to eat, because everything tastes yum.
The pricing is well thought of, and although some people might find it a little steep, it's all worth the money.
If you're in the vicinity, do not give this place a miss, for its truly one of the best cafes in Mahabs.

The place is modest and cheerfully made up. We were the only patrons that evening. Lemon soda was well balanced on flavor. Golden fried prawns and fish in lemon butter sauce was good. Egg fried rice was really yummy and gentle on the palette and tummy. The cost is nominal and staff is courteous.

After a hectic day that was filled with lot of stress and tension, we were looking forward a place to have a strong coffee along with some light snacks. And I thought why not go on a long drive, just for a cuppa?
Long drive on a highway just for for a cuppa is pure bliss. And that's how we landed in Instant karma. It is located inside Othavadai Street. Parking for cars can be done right below the cafe, not much of space, but it's manageable. Seating at the top floor is actually an open area, but it's covered with grills and and is made colourful with few national flags around it, was good.
Coming to what we had, By now you could easily guess what our orders would be ;) We ordered a pot of coffee and chilly garlic fries. First sip is pure joy, when that hot liquid passes through your dry throat and especially when you've been craving for it for SO long. It was perfect and I loved it. The quantity was about 4 cups, and we had our cups refilled twice. Chilly garlic potato was just delicious and I mean it. It was served hot and crispy with right amount of spice, with spicy bell peppers and onion. It was a perfect combination along with the coffee.
Service is one thing that I would like to make a special mention to. Warm, welcoming and friendly staffs.
The bill came upto 300 odd bucks, definitely worth.
Overall, this place was a saviour and I would definitely love to visit this again and try out the other things from their menu.

In my two years, where living in outskirts was a compulsion for me, Instant Karma became a choice which opened in Mahabalipuram during my second year. Its not an ordinary one for sure, where chefs are having experiences in 5 and 7 Star hotels like The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, JW Marriaott Hotel, Radisson, etc provides you not only with customized dishes but which are a treat to your taste buds and heart. The staff is trained really well carrying adequate knowledge about what they are serving in the menu, great communication skills and provide satisfactory services. People living in Main Chennai, near Mahabalipuram or tourists must explore the place. Musical performance by one of the staff was a delight with food which often happens. Also, provide services like buffet parties at economical price with no compromise to taste.
One of my recommended dish would be Pizza with meatballs, ham and chicken tikka on it accompanied by a Beer. Mr. Hanif and Akbar the warm hosts of this food joint keep no gaps in satisfying their customers and it reflects their passion for providing an experience not only in terms of food but a service that customers carry along with them. When customers arrive here they no longer leave as one, for them you become a family, a member of a cult.
On the verge of expansion, would rate it a 4.5 on all aspects. Thank you for saving my last year with such phenomenal experience.

First and Second experience at this restaurant was OK OK. The third one was best. Guess this time I had ordered the must have dishes at this restaurant. Golden fried prawns, Tandoori chicken, Chicken Lasagne , chicken lollipop n tiramisu :) All were deadly. Must try this restaurant for above dishes. Noodles and Chicken Afghani were bad !!!

Great Sea food place in Mahabs. We had squid , prawn and a huge red snapper starter. The masala on these were excusite. The manager Mr. Gautam was extremely friendly and gave us a good time with his great stories and conversations.
