Service was quick and alert. We had the best lobster here. The ambience is of a beach shack but the prices are slightly high. However totally worth it for getting Goa vibes in Chennai. Love the views from here. They also serve beer.
It's on the edge of the road. Parking 4 wheelers on weekends is tricky. They have valet parking. We went there on weekdays so parking was not an issue. Went there for Lunch. Roof top dining. Only 3 tables facing the sea. Other tables are okay and not too bad.
Food is conceivably good. Not too fancy.
Service is good as well.
But ! Beware, white skin is their most preferred customers.
They do serve Beer and offer you Steel glass if you are an Indian and Glass mug if you are a foreigner . this is why I give them 4 stars.
There are a lot of eateries around. I went here as I saw many reviews on this place. If you are a newcomer you have a couple of good eateries around.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Santana Beach Restaurant and I must say, it's a seafood lover's dream come true! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. However, it was the seafood that stole the show.

We wanted to have a family lunch and we chose this place by the reviews. Turns out it was as good as expected.
Food was really good. The view was amazing. Valet parking helped a lot since the street was narrow. Definitely can try it if you are in for authentic fish dishes.
New experience at Mahabs..orders were taken quickly and delivered so quick...shocked to see,how fast they work with seafood.
Taste is moderate,but can be tried for different one here.
Always there will be rush here when compared to other places, in same street.
The crab at the restaurant is exceptional - succulent, flavorful and expertly prepared. Each bite delivered a perfect combination of freshness and flavor. Seafood lovers are in for a real treat...Enjoy your snacks😋
Ambience was a surprise with an awesome view from the rooftop restaurant (check pic and video)... The food was outta the world, I had their fried calamari in garlic butter sauce and loved it... Part of a large group so got to taste lots of their menu and would highly recommend their fish curry and white rice, yum yummy yum indeed...
Tried Mixed sezuwan chk Fried Rice ..simply Vow and the service of Ms.Saranya .. she is taking responce the guests needs very politely and what we required she had make an spl Note of it and serves with pleasure

Highly recommend!! 5star overall, 5star+ for service alone. I wanted to arrange a nice lunch for my mom on her birthday. I reached out to the restaurant through Google chat option, honestly I wasn't too hopeful to receive a response but I got a response quite quick Well, what can I say, he took care of everything right from cake to flowers, from decorations to recommending options from the menu and beyond. At my request, he made his staff click pics/video and shared it with me. My mom is delighted with the special queen-like treatment she got :) and very pleased with the service. My parents loved the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. With all my heart I thank Raghu and all the staff members who provided service beyond expectations. I will visit you , the next time I come to Chennai.
If you are looking for a beach view restaurants with good taste food, then you should definitely visit this place. I am their regular customer since 2019 and there’s no going back. I love their tawa fry in squid and prawn. You must try their ghee rice too. Please do not try their gobi Manchurian or chilly chicken gravy. It’s filled with corn starch. Thiru Anna serves us with utmost care and comfort.
I felt like the memories of my Goan trip recreated from this place. Personally the view & food was almost same. The vibe was 50-50. The fish 🐟 was fresh. Around Mahabalipuram all these restaurants serve the marine and other side dishes with a tangy flavour that was their secret sauce it's different and too good. Without valet parking it would be a head ache and probably people won't prefer to come. Great place to come with friends for seafood 😋 with a can of beer 🍺... Also great place for a lunch or dinner 🍽 with family.
The thiing is that the restaurant is of wooden 🪵 roofing so even at afternoon you won't feel the harsh sun much while dining.
Tour guide brought us here for lunch during a tour of the nearby temples. Got the catch of day butterfish cooked in ginger garlic masala and it was incredible. The views of the ocean and shore temple add a great ambience

We went for dinner, the service is good. The fish was very fresh. I have informed them to not to add so much oil and masala, it was too good. Recommended you to try Tava chicken and Tava fish. The price is costly, but it is same for in other hotels also, you vns give a try.
