I have tasted nearly all their food but on my last visit i ordered tandoori paneer....
It was cooked perfect , just melted in my mouth with that somky taste together with the spices,! and salad. Very reasonable too.
Among the best places for north Indian Food in and around the itpl industrial Area.
Great taste & great value for money.
The taste of the food was just awesome. The rates are very reasonable. The ambiance is also excellent

Paneer butter masala was a little too spicy. Sweet lassi was good
I have ordered Veg Maharaja thali from this restaurant.Maharaja thali contains Paneer Masala, Dal Makhani, 2 Lacha Paratha, Jeera Rice, salad amd raita. Everything is best whether it is taste wise, portion wise and quality wise. I will suggest everyone to try this restaurant at least once and I am definitely sure you'll like it. Dal Makhani and Panner masala both are awesome.Price also in budget.

food was tasty and on time delivery
please increase the quantity of biriyani rice.....it's too less
Papad was not at all good but rest was delicious.
best tandoori chicken pieces in butter chicken
paneer not good. chicken good.
The menu is good, as off varieties, taste is also good and even the price is fine enough, but the ambience and serving time is not upto the mark...
I enjoyed my food and the whole experience in this restaurant.the staff is attentive and the food is well presented.all in all I will give it five stars.....
we tried the Punjabi for the first time last night and food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented.the waiters were attentive and service overall was good.Overall a good meal and great value for money.we will certainly be going back.
Ambience wise its a little average but if you want really tasty food at a very low price then this is definitely a place one should try out . It's located on the top floor and is really not visible that well with the alley being really dingy. But all of this is made up for by the superb quality of food and really fast and nice service by the staff
This is a dhaba style restaurant out side of ITPL back gate. I work in ITPL so visited there few times upon recommendation of colleagues. Food taste is good. As it is dhaba style hence little spicy just the way I like. Ambience is not good but having enough sitting arrangement.
Never visited the place, but ordered food online many a times. The taste is excellent and rates are reasonable. Quantity is less compared to other places but once you know how much it is, next time you can order accordingly.
When you are getting bored and thinking about what to eat on a Saturday afternoon sitting in your pg ( as the pg food won't be so good-everyones' story ) this place comes to your rescue with a variety of food delivery options. I ordered a maharaja thali on a similar day which had shahi paneer, dal makhni, lacha paratha, rice, raita and papad which was reasonable and unexpectedly tasty!
Wow on 10th order, I have Ordered so many times from New Punjabi Tasty Khana but all the food quality and taste was good. But this time I ordered Chicken Meal and Chicken keema Masala and really the Food is very very Tasty. Special is Chicken Masala in the meal and the keema masala as well. You will fill like pure fresh chicken and the complete pack of chicken Thali was really worth with respect to the price.I will continue ordering from #NewPunjabiTastyKhana
Cheap good portion. Tastes good. No complaints yet. We ordered 3-4 times from there. Every time it was home delivery. The portions are really good when on a budget and close to whitefield not a bad idea.
The place is from ambience point is not at all good but the food is extremely tasty and worth the visit. I usually order from the place during dinner time. The cost is comparatively low if compared with other places with such good quality food. One must surely have garlic naan with butter chicken. I would also advise to have dal makhani, it would surely remind you of your mom's food. Please do not go for Chinese food, it's always extra spicy and won't be able to finish the whole plate.
Ordered for Mushroom masala. Delivery was quick and the Sabzi was also tasty ๐
Quantity is also good as I used the sabzi for lunch as well as for dinner (only for one person)
Butter chicken and butter naan are to die for. Being a delhite -I must say that this was THE BEST ever butter chicken I've tried in Bangalore in past 5 years !!! Small dhabha place for quick lunch during weekdays !! Great quality and quantity for worth the price !!
Went for lunch with my colleagues here. It gets crowded during lunch time as there are many tech parks around. We had butter chicken with garlic naan. Along with it we also had stuffed kulcha. Finally, sweet lassi. I liked the food overall, but little high on the calorie side. It justifies the name, 'Tasty Khana'.
Best food point for average price.
Quality of the food is good.
Quantity of the food for home delivery was good.
Minimum amount for home delivery is rs.250 and within 5km radius.
Thanks
A very small roof top joint blemish serves descent food at a relatively cheap price.
Yes hygiene isn't that great being a small and dhaba kind of atmosphere.
Being a Punjabi joint typical Punjabi cuisines will woo u for sure. Don't go for Chinese dishes or starters. A safe play and good order of food choosing Punjabi dishes will make u happy for the price u pay :)
We went with family on Sunday evening for Dinner. The place was not very crowded. We ordered Fried mutton, Fried chicken and Puranpoli thali. The food was very tasty and Tambda Pandhra rassa was surprisingly authentic. The quantity of food in thali is more than enough for 1 person.
Highly recommend the chicken and fish thalis. Total value for money. Every item in the thali is delectable. Quantity is more than just enough. Ambience is the only downside, but for price they charge it is totally worth it.
Typically Maharashtrian food what you yearn for when you are in south...great portion, taste ๐
Recently visited again for lunch. Had ordered fish Thali ๐..quantity and quality and taste was really good. We were welcomed very warmly. The owner suggested some helpful tips also to us.
But I would like to suggest the owner to redecorate the restaurant. The seating arrangement was ok. The ceiling needs renovation seriously. We mahastraians should always give presentations as per modern time. Please don't get offended but sincerely I am suggesting.
Delicious and sumptuous Non vegThalis. I went there after almost a decade and this time, with my wife.
Super glad to see that they have maintained their quality.
My wife loved their food so much that we went there twice in a span of one week.
Definitely coming back.
Note: Some of the thalis might be a little pricey for some but the food was to our liking. Hence, we didn't mind paying a little extra.
If you love Maharashtrian food, you should visit this place. The ambiance is quite average. The hospitality of the staff is good.
The food we had here was :
Surmai fry- great
Fish thali-lovely
The fish thali was luscious as it contained fish fry, three chapati, prawns, dry prawns, fish curry, rice, sol kadi, and Gulab jamun.
The Marathi music playing in the background was giving good vibes.
Overall, a casual place to taste Maharashtrian cuisine.

Had been there for lunch on a Thurs afternoon 08/12/2022 at around 3:00 PM.
The owner gladly talks to the customers and has a very friendly approach. The service is also fast, even though I went at an odd time, I was given good hot food.
Veg Thali had sufficient quantity and variety.
I felt like the food was home cooked food.
I tried Mackerel (Bangda) rawa fry and also prawns rawa fry, prawns Malwani masala which were really tasty.
It's a good place to have an authentic Maharashtrian food.
There's a lot more to try like chicken and mutton kolhapuri etc. Kheema pav, vada pav, snacks etc.
Overall, Food was : 5/5
Seating was : 3.5/5
Service : 5/5
Washroom : 3/5
Car /2 Wheeler Parking is off Street.
Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food available.
Food was delicious.
The atmosphere was average.
Price is average
You get maharashtrian style food
Thali options available
If you are in Bangalore and missing Maharashtrian food then visit Suryawanshi. They have branches at Whitefield, Indiranagar and a new one opening up at Church Street.
A hidden gem to say the least! Don't get deceived by the less than moderate looks of the restaurant. The food is excellent! Every item was too good and I'm told the taste is truly Maharashtrian. Not too heavy on the pocket as well. I would definitely visit again when I do get a chance.
Suryawanshi Review
Overview: Basic neat and clean โฆ Not on the main road โฆโฆbut easy to access
Hygiene: Basic hygiene and cleanliness.
Ambience: Very basic ambience โฆ. Nothing special in terms of ambience
Music: Good Marathi music
Staff: Decent & efficient staff โฆ. Very quick service
Parking: Dedicated parking but be careful it gets dark in the parking
Food Taste: Extremely Good food and great taste
The taste is the USP of the place. Everything is delicious
Their standard chicken and mutton thali is to die for
They also have basic Maharashtrian snacks like Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Sabudana vada etc.
Food quantity: Good quantity,
Food price: Reasonably priced
My Order: We ordered Chicken Thali, Vada Pav, Misal Pav and it was all just awesome.
It's on second floor of the building. If you really want to try the Maharashtras Favorite Kolhapuri (non-veg) dish give it a try, it's worth it. Veg options are also available. Specially Misal (another Kolhapuri breakfast dish) served here. Great taste. Highly recommend. It might take some time to prepare your order, but the wait is worthy.
Nice place for Marathi meals, have options for both Veg and Non-Veg, must try sabudana vada, and Gala Veg Thali and Mutton Thali.
The ambience can be improved and wash room need maintenance. Overall good taste.
It's a best Kolhapuri/Maharashtrain cuisine in Whitefield. We had Gala Mutton Kheema Thali, Fried Mutton Thali, Gala Fish Thali and Malvani Crab Sukha Masala.. Their food looks simple but taste is yummy..my personal favourite will be Mutton kheema๐๐
Place is basic, service is good, staffs are friendly, Food is amazing especially Mutton dish..Highly recommended.. Worth visiting ๐๐b/w unique design at the entrance.. Missed to take pic..
We have been frequently visiting Suryawanshi since it was launched. Like the maharashtrian Thali, Puran Poli Thali, Zunka Bhakar thali. On our recent visit, tried the Kolhapuri dishes : veg Kolhapuri which was full of kolhapur spices and a rich masaledar gravy and same goes for Kolhapuri Daal which had a spicey combination of kala masala, garam masala and moong daal which was mouthwatering. We relished these with perfect fulkas which were straight from fire! Also a must try with the spicey meal is the Kokum and Coconut Solkadhi( refreshing and cool) with a wonderful drink with pink colour and chill-ginger-cumin flavour!
This is a simple, no fuss and no fancies place. Rates are very reasonable, and service is decent too. You can see the actual cooking in the kitchen through the glass walls. Enjoy authentic maharashtrian Cuisine ( malvani, kolhapuri, coastal) Puran Poli is a must try after your meal!
As far as sitting goes, they can add better chairs and some spruce up on the decor will be really welcome!
A perfect place to visit when we are looking out for Maharashtra food. We ordered Gala Vegiterian Thali and Pooran Poli Thali. Both the options were good. The quantity of good is more than sufficient. Variety is good. Sweets are of good quality. Pooran Poli was awasome. Kadhi Bhaat and Aamti Bhat was good. The good was heavily loaded with unnecessary oil and spices. Very good. Keep it up team Suryawanshi Restaurant. The premises is one second floor and it seems the building maintenance team is not maintaining lift. It is inconvenient for senior citizens to climb stairs for two floors. Good good, good service, good interior and Marathi music. All well as much more than expected. Will surely visit again to try other food items varieties.
