The place was amazing.. near the side of the river. The view was amazing and the sound of water was relaxing. The staff was great at service. The quality and quantity of food served was amazing. The hookah served was great and the guy used to come and check timely and ask us regularly for feedback or suggestions. There was live music that day and both the artists who performed were amazing. I spent the evening at this place and made some good friends too.
Would definitely recommend visiting this place with friends or family. Situated near the river and the rates were also good.
Definitely the best food I had in manali. The place has a good vibe and there are live bands usually playing. A huge variety of good food options to choose from all of which is extremely tasty and savory. The service is a delight and the staff is courteous as well. The place also gives hookahs with coal refill. Best of cafe old Manali in cafe melange. I had chicken garlic steak and nutrella banana pancake and chicken manchow soup.
Landed at this quaint cafe in Old Manali during a light drizzle outside. Ordered Tandoori Trout, which happened to be the most expensive in Old Manali (900 INR) but was served with love.
Vibe is good. Staff is polite as well.
The menu can be more varied with better pricing.

The Café Mélange gets high marks for its breathtaking riverside location. Split level seating, with an iron spiral staircase leading to a lower deck almost hanging over the River Manaslu and with great mountain views, makes it one of the best restaurants in Old Manali. Very close to the bridge leading to Old Manali, it has fine views of the very entertaining zipline activity, next to the bridge. The spacious, upper deck has fine wooden tables and chairs and in summer, it's open to the elements. In winter and the monsoons, diners are sheltered by transparent PVC curtains. Since it was past noon, I ordered a vegetarian thali and a milk tea. The milk tea was a disappointment in this land of chai, but the thali was an absolute delight. It had a sabzi, chapatis, rice, dal, salad and pickle. The sabzi was a bit oily, but the other items were delicious. The yellow dal certainly was one of the best I've had in a long while. The salad of onions and cucumber tasted fresh, even though it was deep winter. The menu is the standard Old Manali stuff with Indian, Italian and Israeli dishes. The prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other places in Himachal Pradesh, but I think fine for an over-touristy Manali.
delicious cuisine and fast service, friendly atmosphere
The riverside view coupled with the hot sizzling and mouth watering food was an amazing experience! I personally recommend the Chicken Sizzler here! The broth is Finger licking good!
