We had an excellent stay at Woodpegger by the beach. We booked executive suites for two nights and our experience was fabulous. The staff is quite friendly and responsive, especially their operations manager Karan who was available on call and catered to all our requests in time.
The rooms are spacious and the location is excellent. There is some Govt. order that disallows loud music in the area, because it is a Turtle Nesting beach. So, both the beach and surrounding areas were quite peaceful.
Unlike other Goa beaches, this beach is less crowded. Early morning and sunset times are picturesque and a must visit even if you are not staying at the property.
This place is so good..beautiful view... infact rooms when you are in your room its awesome when you look outside . Must rocemmended place would definaltely recommend other .. food was awesome . Services are great ... great people great time . Wanna come again definately next dec if possible. Krishna is really helpul and sajil too ..
Woodpegger by the beach is situated in close proximity to the beach. The ocean view is truly mesmerizing and the beach is v clean. The rooms are good and so also the staff.
Special mention for Mr Karan Choudhary who goes out of his way to help the guests.
Since it was off season, there were some repairs going on, but overall a v pleasant stay.
Great food and great service, the location is beautiful, I had a very great time here. I was suggested some good dishes to taste. Krishna has been great in the service.
Visited the cafe on the beach! Excellent food, honestly I was very surprised… quality/presentation was up there with any fine dine… the prawns curry leaf, the chicken kalimirch, excellent. The view and setting of it all, splendid!!
The seashore location makes it more beautiful...service is good and delight taste makes too comfortable to eat... overall just like place

📌 Our Take :
@woodpeggerbythebeach would be a good option to choose from in the Monsoons plus it’s one of the few beach properties in Goa which are open during the Monsoons as well. You can either choose among the Wooden Cottages or the luxury Rooms. However, I wouldn’t recommend going for the wooden cottages during the off-rainy season as it would get very hot during the day.
Coming to the Food, the restaurant serves Indian and Mediterranean Food with some specially curated Cocktails and Mocktails. After comparing among both the cuisines that we tried out, I would recommend trying out more of the Indian items. Especially their Malai Murg Kebab, which was so flavourful!
Overall, it’s a good option for a night over and if you are looking out for a quiet - laid back break!

For me I found solace with all the above requirements plus the immaculate bonhomie extended by the Staff in this tranquil property - The Woodpegger By The Beach..!!
The staff is extremely professional and courteous to the hilt..They'll pamper you to extreme limits..
The cottages are well placed from each other and the rooms are way above the comfort level..
Landscaping is perfectly executed and thought of.
Which in turn doesn't disturb the existing flora which gives the property an Oomph factor above the rest in vicinity..
The major highlight is its proximity to a wonderful yet breathtaking view & access to the serene sea & pristine Mandrem beach. Awesome part is the accessibility to the beach - just moments away from the property..!!
Food served is amazing and you don't want to stop hogging while you trip on the music played..
My take - Highly recommended for families and friends' groups in search of a damn cushy & cozy stay bang on the beach with matchless service & hospitality..!!

Stayed at Woodpegger for two nights during peak Goa season. We were all shocked to see how soothing and calm it was during one of the most crowded periods in Goa. The rooms were spacious and had amazing views irrespective of which direction the balconies faced. Would definitely recommend for people who want to go to Goa and enjoy a peaceful beach vacation instead of getting lost amidst the crowd in the famous North Goa beaches and resorts.
Great food and brilliant service at the cleanest and most silent beach in Goa.
Excellent beach side place. Not sure if you can call it a resort but I would rather be here with immediate access to the beach and a beach shack than be in a resort and walk for a few minutes to get sand underneath my feet. To top that off, the beach is clean and not crowded at all. Excellent service provided by Tushar, Gombu, Elias and Sam. I'll default to this place whenever I come back to Goa.
Came here for a vacation with my friends, stayed in beach view cottage. Rooms are cosy and clean.
The view of mandrim beach from the cottage is breathtaking. Also they have a cafe and they serve delicious food.
love everything about this place. location is fantastic, the staff very kind and accommodating (special note to Sam) The menu is creative and not the usual in Goa and i could not fault any meal i had. Their live music programme equally excellent with great artists. i look forward to returning again and again

The ambience of this property is something one should experience. It was a home away from home vibe. The property is quite spacious and it's right on Mandrem Beach. The staff was very accommodating and humble.
If you are looking at a relaxed and chilled place with beach access and want a relaxed sundowner vibe with good music this is your place to be.
